Good post. But I think that’s kinda what is disingenuous about Fromm’s answer. Did he really learn from this or is it just say God this and God that while still believing the same stuff? Personally, this is such a non story. I think Fromm said something really stupid and while I think he has some typical southern believes, I really doubt he is a racist. If his teammates at Georgia and now with the Bills are cool with him, that’s fine. Now as others have said, the question is if he’s good enough. For that, I have doubts but literally nothing has really happened to the guy.

But a lot of people don’t pay attention to that rule. Our leader is someone whose whole political career is trashing people. And some Christians praise the guy like he is a god. It’s weird.

Agree with this 1000%. There are people who think that saying that are a certain religion absolves every terrible thing they do. Like I said, I was going but I just remember them being a little soft for all the talent they had. That season was definitely the high point of the SB defenses. also, a great offense can help a defense when they get early leads and make teams one dimensional. I’d love to see that more this years group.

Because you are conflating the argument. Louisville was a very pro offense. Allen averages 1 passing attempt more a game than Jackson. you talk about the Bills are slowly developing Allen. How can say the Ravens aren’t doing the same with Lamar, who had worse receivers than Allen did last year?

Well said and such a great man. I haven’t seen him recently but last time I say him, he looked great. But things can change quickly when you get old. I hope he is still doing great. And I was young for the SB teams but I remember thinking they should have had a better DC because that defense should have been much better than it was.

Your question about comparing a college qb who didn’t play in the nfl and averaged 300 yards passing a season in college against the all time best QBs in nfl history? your logic is the same my ex used. I love how every metric and stat says Lamar has been a better qb in every level than Allen yet you dismiss them all.

They definitely could use a minor league, especially for qbs. Kurt Warner won’t have been Warner if he didn’t get to play in the arena league or NFL Europe. people love saying players are busts but some of these guys just need a chance to play.
