  1. This makes no sense. Would a young qb be better off with the #2 defense or the #26 defense? Fun fact. The Bills, who went 10-6, averaged 19 points/ game. The Cards, who went 3-13, averaged 16 points/ game in Rosen starts in 2018. when you constantly fall behind or have a bad defense, you become one dimensional and have to force things. How many times has Allen been behind by 2 scores? It completely changes how you play.
  2. Good post and just to counter. 1 - definitely agree about Allen’s situation his rookie year. I thought the Bills were well on their way to ruining another qb. But the major difference is that the Bills had the #2 defense and the Cards had #26. Allen wasn’t in a position to have to win games where Rosen was. If Allen was playing with the 26 ranked defense, he probably forces more things. They essentially had the same rookie passing stats. But I do agree that his rushing ability would help him. 2 - I admit I thought some of the Rosen attitude stuff was BS. But I do agree Allen has an attitude that teammates love. However if a team fully invested in Rosen and he was allowed to grow as a qb, it would be similar to Rodgers’ attitude. I saw the guy make special throws on some garbage UCLA teams. He played for 2 garbage nfl teams that did nothing to help his development. Maybe he really sucks and he is too immobile for the new nfl. But I’m not willing to say that after his 2 situations so far. Hopefully, he gets a chance to learn from Brady and be given a chance to really develop. I guess we’ll see.
  3. You need to get a new slant. It’s hilarious because I was once the angry homer like you. Now if you aren’t completely biased towards the Bills, you hate them and love NE. my favorite part of the angry homers is they don’t even choice to counter the post. And you know Brady is on the Bucs right? OMG!!! Peter King hates us!!! He’s so mean!!! https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2019/12/nbcs-peter-king-predicts-buffalo-bills-win-playoff-game-in-january.html%3foutputType=amp So if the Bills won 6 SBs and went to 9 in 15 years, so you think writers won’t be gushing over us? guess what people are biased towards??? Winning.
  4. Big fan of ESPN simulations. They aren’t biased like the rest of the national media. and you want to win the SB every year but if Allen took a big step forward, this is an amazing year.
  5. I do agree offensively it was much mismanaged. But they had the number 2 defense and had a veteran nfl OC. Rosen has his OC fired 4 games into the year and got a guy who never did the job on any level (Leftwich, who apparently hated Rosen so much that He just signed him). And Rosen and Allen had very similar passing stats. Rosen May very well suck. But his two teams made sure he did. I’d say that same exact thing for any young qb in his circumstances. I think Sam Darnold is being destroyed in NJ. They have done an awful job being in a good environment.
  6. Josh Allen would look just as bad in those circumstances. It was awful situations. Now maybe he will suck anywhere, but to pretend like he was given a fair chance to succeed is an absolute lie. more qbs are ruined than developed. Luckily for us, the Bills are doing a really good job around Allen. If Rosen (or Allen does) fails in our situation, they must likely don’t have it. Fitz is better than most young qbs. He is a top 20 qb in the nfl. Sam Bradford looked worse in Arizona than Rosen. I know people hate him but he has been placed in awful, awful situations with little chance to succeed.
  7. AP is a much more strict babysitter too.
  8. Yes, the master plan to save SI is to fire up the second smallest market in the NFL.
  9. You’re way off here. By DVOA, the Bucs had a top 10 defense last year. They got murdered by Winston’s turnovers, some leading directly to scores. They have the best group of receivers and TEs and just added a 1,000 yard rusher. Brady is what Brady was but if he can be a B level starter, they should be very good. i would argue that you must just hate Brady to not see the potential on that team. Brady might be completely shot but that is a really well rounded team. OMG!!! Stop with this. Always the victim. The Bills her plenty of love from the media. But the second some doesn’t say awesome we are, it’s “the media hates us.” I think the Fins are on the right track but I completely disagree with them winning the division. But this victim mentality Some Bills fans have is insane. Not everyone is going to love our team or predict them to win every game. It doesn’t mean they hate us.
  10. I think if he was on the Bills, we would be at worst in the AFC title game.
  11. God, you are such a gutless little kitty cat. You can’t even respond to your stupid post without name calling. You keep hiding your fat face behind that computer screen. you love popping up but when you get called on your stupid BS, you cry and name call. The funniest thing is any poster did this, I won’t have bet then. But when the biggest moron on the board, who is consistently the most wrong, I now know they won’t win 12 games. so instead of name calling, just admit you’re gutless and have no backbone. Or accept the bet and you will get $100 and the Bills will be awesome. It’s a win win for you coward. Soft
  12. You realize 1 out of 32 teams wins the SB every year right? I mean you can say that for like 95% of qbs.
  13. Why? He’s one of the best qbs in the nfl. Awful QBs get a lot of money.
  14. When has Daboll’s schemes ever been successful??? His resume is awful. Haha. You know Nashville leans liberal right? You guys know that biggest cities in the conservative south also tend to lean liberal as well right? oh wait. I bet this mass exodus of people from liberal California and NYC will definitely be going to super conservatives places like Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama. I can already see it know. Jackson, Mississippi- the new Hollywood.
  15. I would laugh if anyone gives up anything for Foster. Since high school, he has had 5 good games. He Is not good.
  16. I know everyone hates him because of the draft but honestly, has any high pick qb been given a worse opportunity to ever succeed? This sounds crazy but Buffalo is about as good of an environment for a young qb to succeed. I’m pretty sure he’s better than Fromm and I think his basement is Barkley. Rosen made some special , Aaron Rodgers throws in college. I’d love to see us bring him in and keep him as a 3rd qb I haven’t heard any attitude problems from Miami. And if you were in his shoes, wouldn’t you be a little pissed too? Dude is getting totally boned right now. He isnt given a chance to make it
  17. It’s going to happen to every team with a good qb. If Allen is good enough to get this type of deal, the cap will caught up to us as well. Qbs Take up way too much of the cap. That’s why you can’t mistakes on paying one big money. Watson, IMO, is a borderline top 5 QBs. It was the worst trade ever with Hopkins but at least he got his money and they have some talent at wr. It will be interesting to see how they do this year.
  18. It’s the only decision they should have made. It’s absolutely idiotic how quickly teams give up on young QBs for scrub veteran (though Foles has been good on the Eagles but never for a full season). As much as I’m a (objective means being a critic here) critic of Allen, even if he is really bad this year, I’d sign a veteran / draft a guy to “push” him but he is winning the job next year too. that said, the leash is very short.
  19. You know how many chicks he nailed??? but he is one of the most overrated players of all time. But that SB win was legendary status. He is in for that alone. and apparently, Terry Bradshaw kinda sucked. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BradTe00.htm
  20. Are you outraged about Trump having his products made in China? Or apple? Or is this just a position to distract from social justice in America? also, why should LeBron being speaking out about China? Is he from there? Should he speak out about every country’s issues?
  21. The problem with our country again is it’s the loudest idiots making the most noise. No cop should get killed for doing their job. All their lives matter. but when a black man gets killed for selling cigarettes while a loser incel with a bowl cut who massacred a black church group gets picked up by the cops and taken to Burger King, that kinda seems a bit uneven. I definitely agree with that. News and social media are awful. Twitter, while it has some great things, gives a voice to people who shouldn’t have a voice.
  22. Fair points but I think what LeBron and other athletes are saying is that they weren’t in their position, that could be them. Plenty of non-criminal black men have been hassled by the police for fitting a description. here is a story of a nba player who had his leg broken by the NYPD. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/sport/2017/apr/06/nba-star-thabo-sefolosha-nypd-lawsuit Like everything, a few bad apples makes the majority look bad. But for too long, a lot of bad cops were able to do bad things unchecked. Hopefully, that is changing because being a police officer is one of the most noble professions there is. I’d definitely describe the guy born to a 15 year old mother in poverty, who has never been in legal trouble in his life, who has built almost a billion dollar empire with his friends and family, who married his high school sweetheart and is a great dad, while building schools in his hometown, loathsom. Great call. the funniest thing is that people who hate on LeBron probably love a dude who has everything handed to him while being married numerous times.
  23. Completely terrible as well and I’m glad that idiot got taken out. but it’s unfortunately two different things. When you sign up to be an officer, you know the risk. That’s why they are held to a higher standard than a lot of the garbage they deal with. You can’t just make mistakes as a police officer. That’s the main message people are saying. And if they do make those mistakes, they need to be held accountable, which the overwhelmingly amount of the time they are not. I think every rational person knows how important police are so it’s a weird thing to try to politicize.
  24. Yeah, I don’t really get what the opposite side of this is. Pro racism? And while I do get some of the I don’t want politics in sports argument (my ex’s dad was like that and he was just a great dude who was sick of all political bs), politics has always been a part of sports. these guys have the highest platform to bring awareness to problems in their communities. The easy thing for them is to not say a word and make millions of dollars. I love it when people compare their occupations to a billionaire dollar industry where the workerS get to the top 1% of their profession solely based on merit.
  25. Can’t disagree with that at all. I think we overestimate how much some players love football. For an Alabama kid, winning the title for them, is probably the highlight of his football career. It was probably all down hill after that. He got paid and that was it. but as you said, he had a motor like Kyle Williams, he would be a HOFer.
