Please site an example of one teammate questioning Watson’s leadership? Allen and Watson both missed games their rookie year. Allen hasn’t missed a game since and Watson has missed 1 in 3 years. You’re making things up.

Brandon Beane on Collinsworth’s podcast — worth a listen

Fans just hate Collinsworth because of PFF. -
You are just making up things about Watson. Allen was great this year. Watson has been great since entering the nfl. Not one single teammate has questioned Watson leadership. we all love the Bills here and obviously there will be biases here. But it would be nice to not just see people make up stuff. Watson has been a borderline top 5 qb for 3 years. Allen was one this year.

This is a lot of worry about a guy who has 9 sacks in 2 years. I’m kinda over him. Rep is bigger than his production. Money could be better spent elsewhere. I still would be happy if we got him but I don’t think anyone should be that upset if we don’t.

For sure. I actually I was worried about Hurts as a nfl guy but he had some really good moments passing the ball and the Eagles have one of the worst receiving cores in the league. But if you think Fields or Lance has higher upside, you gotta take them. If I was running, I work commit to Hurts for a year and upgrade the team around him before moving on.

He has been borderline great since his first start. If the Bills had Watson in 2019, they might have gone to the SB. The fact that Allen has even made this strange thread a debate is a testament to how much he improved this offseason. Watson has been really good for 3 years and Allen had an elite season. They are both really good.

As someone who defended EJ (I liked his makeup and thoughts he was developed terrible here), he never came close to doing what Hurts did in college. Dude was very good for Oklahoma and was an upgrade to Wentz last year.

Scout Report Jaelan Phillips Edge Miami

Love the dude’s talent but I don’t know how you could feel comfortable investing a high pick on him. That’s some scary stuff. I hope he makes it but I just would never feel great about it. -
This thread has taken a turn haha.

He had over 300 passing yards in 2 of his 4 starts, something Allen didn’t get until this year. I do think they bring in another qb but he definitely had some good moments on a crappy Philly offense. I think they can win with him. He’s a gamer.

Is it time for Gronk to come home?

Terry has noted this. -
You’re not smart. I said Allen wasn’t a very good passer his first 2 years and he wasn’t. I know you’re a soccer mom and a sensitive cupcake but I’m glad Allen isn’t. Because rather than be like GoBills said I was awesome my first 2 years, he kept improving and had an amazing season. But despite you side tracking the point, you’re a stupid football fan of you think Tannehill is comparable to Watson. Like really dumb. If the Titans had Watson, they are instant SB contenders. Every time the count on Tannehill when Henry isn’t going beast mode, he sucks. He is s product of their system. Watson is the system. What is this? So if traded Diggs for levon bell before the season and then said Allen could be part of the process of hiring the coach and GM but then didn’t contact him, you don’t think he would be mad? Luckily, we don’t have to worry about that because we have a stable organization. The Texans are a joke run by a religious guy who has never run a front office not one single teammate has ever said anything about positive things about Watson. Andre Johnson, the Texans best receiver who never talks, ripped the team. How anyone could side with the Texans is beyond me. They had a SB contender with a top 5 qb and let Bill O’Brien destroy it.
-
What??? Henry makes Tannehill. Any time Henry gets taken away, Tannehill sucks. Watson has played with dog crap at RB, gets his best receiver traded away (AJ Brown is a monster) and has his best year. If you are honestly thinking Watson and Tannehill are close, you know nothing about football. Little earlier for Allen on tier 1. It should be reserved for guys who have done it year after year. Another year like this, and I’d put him there. And I still think Wilson is borderline tier 1. He is Seattle’s offense.

Is it time for Gronk to come home?
C.Biscuit97 replied to BuffaloRebound's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know people who know Gronk. He’s never coming back to Buffalo to play. He’s either going to retire or stay in Florida. I mean he was on the Pats. He still Ioves Buffalo. Up until that point, he was a harmless meathead. But it was a total scum move but I’m more mad at the Bills response. Gutless. Like when the Sabres did nothing when Miller got run over. I love this idea. Sign him to a one year prove it deal. Dude has the physical talent to be the best TE in the nfl. It would be a great low risk, high reward move. -
Deshaun Watson officially requests trade from Houston
C.Biscuit97 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Eh. That’s a big claim. Like I wasn’t impressive with him at all last year but seems a little harsh after a rookie year, coming off of a major injury, for a pretty untalented offense. I hate the way qbs get developed now. They have a bad year snd it’s like their career is over. Allen had far worse stats as a rookie and look where he ended up. Obviously, Allen has the superior skills but I just thinks it’s early to just completely give up the guy. But would I rather have them have Tua or Watson? Of course it’s Tua. -
Good post. Thielen is good and him and Diggs were more like 1A and 1Bs. And seeing what the stupid Texans did, It seemed like an overpay for a guy who hadn’t produced like Hopkins. but The front office looks like genius. Diggs was the most valuable offseason acquisition and helped take Allen to a level we never seen. Classic win win trade because Jefferson was awesome too. I do wish he was a little bigger because I do worry about those smaller guys be taken out of games at times but that’s the smallest nit pick ever. Diggs was one of the greatest pickups in franchise history and was a huge leader. and if I was his agent, I’d ask for a new contract. 😉

Agree 💯. I definitely agree there are a lot of warts for Wentz. But I do think things went to far the other way. That Eagles offense was kinda garbage around him and I don’t think Rivers was that good last year. But there’s also a chance Carson isn’t that good. but man, he is going to a great situation for a qb. If he can’t play well there, he should never start again. Yeah, I can’t argue with that. I think the Philly situation kinda sucked and I’ve seen Wentz so elite things. He carried garbage to the playoffs a couple of years ago. I think he will do well in Indy, but I won’t be shocked either way.
-
Rivers played well against but that was like his best game of the year. The colts are a top 10 talented offense. Eagles were bottom 10. The Colts gave up 19 sacks with Rivers who has the mobility of a tree stump. The Eagles allowed 65 sacks with 2 of the most mobile qbs in the league. so do I think barring health that Wentz could do better than Rivers 24 td to 11 ints? Hell yeah. I’d wager on it and I don’t really like Wentz that much. I just love the situation for any qb there and Rivers was on his last legs.

The Cleveland cavs 4 years ago. Toronto is a big market but is a bottom nba market and won it 2 years ago. Honestly, as great as Jordan was and how tough the league was back then, it was kinda awful basketball. I do agree the 3s of gotten out of control (and too many fouls) but basketball is a way smoother game now.
