  1. Trust me, I’m a huge Cam fan, and he’s not the same player. It’s obviously and his arm looks bad. But people on this board were laughing at Brady his last year in NE saying he was washed too. Cam ain’t Brady but NE did him no favors and a lot of qbs would have struggle there. The Pats aren’t the Pats anymore. But it was a team with a terrible roster that nearly beat us at home. We are clearly the best team in the division but it’s weird to think that Pats getting players back is suddenly the worst team in the NFL when they weren’t close to that last year. Well that’s just stupid.
  2. Totally agree and I hope it is clear I love the player. Baller. I just think their certain positions you lock up no matter what - qb (though they murder your cap), elite pass rusher, lockdown corner, OT, MLB. I think an elite receiver has also entered that territory too and safety might as well. So when you are going to face salary cap issues, you have to make some tough decisions. so even if I love Milano, in a perfect world, I’d rather have a stud pass rusher and/ OT and try to replace Milano in the draft. But we locked up a top 10 OLB so it’s hardly a bad thing if that makes sense. So you never complain about the president?
  3. This post doesn’t make sense to me. McBeane have done an amazing job. But you couldn’t question trading up Zay Jones? Or trading for Kelvin Benjamin? Or signing Trent Murphy? Or repeatedly trying to make Peterman a thing? you know it’s ok to love a team and question a few decisions. And I don’t think I’ve seen one post not saying Matt isn’t a good player. But he does have some health concerns (tough dude but he is undersized) and even with the “discount”, it’s a lot of money that some think could have been used for something else that might be a bigger need. what’s up with our society that everyone just wants to live in echo chamber of the same thoughts?
  4. I will bet you $1000 NE does not have the worst record in the nfl. Deal?
  5. They went 7-8 this year with him starting. He signed late, had Covid, have maybe the worst skill players in the nfl, and had half of their defense opt out. obviously, he isn’t the same player but I think people love just hating on him. By all accounts, he was a great teammate and they can draft a qb. I actually respect Belichick for being loyal to Cam.
  6. For sure. Trust me, I love him as a player. I just thought with some of the tough decisions with contracts, if you had to lose someone, I would have been “ok” with the OLB who has some injury concerns. but guy is a playmaker and we are better with him in the lineup.
  7. And that would be a mistake and hope that isn’t the case. Tre is a full four years younger and plays a much more difficult position. And I think he would be an absolute beast if we move him to OLB if they decided to move him.
  8. True. I just think an OLB is a lot easier position to transition to than a lot of other positions.
  9. Very conflicted on this. Dude is an absolute baller and this is our super bowl window. But at the same time, he struggles to stay healthy, OLB is one of the “easier” positions to replace, and it will cost us someone at a position I think is more important (OT, pass rusher, or Te). can’t be mad keeping a good player and good for Matt. He is a legit playmaker. But if he left and they drafted someone like Zaven Collins and used the money elsewhere, could that be have been better? 😬 it will be interesting to see what they do next.
  10. Also Allen is bigger and thus eats more. Better for the WNY economy.
  11. Stafford had one of the greatest receivers in nfl history.
  12. I worked with someone who went to school with her and she said she is awful and permanently stuck in high school. Great surgeon though. Yeah, those social media posts thanking someone by making it all about themselves are hilarious. My brother does it for my mom and she isn’t even on any social media. 😆
  13. Young Spiller and healthy Watkins (I know, he can’t stay healthy) would be awesome on this team right now.
  14. If this team only had LTs, we would have won multiple Super Bowls. - BillInNYC 😉
  15. Trevor Lawrence 🤔 😆
  16. That is funny. You would have thought they would have locked them up after the SB. this is going to be such a loaded FA class with so much less money to spend. I bet there will be a ton of one year, prove it deals hoping for multi year deals next year. as a legit SB contender, we are in position to get some really good players for cheap who want to showcase themselves for next year. This could work out perfect for us.
  17. Trent Murphy’s biggest contribution as a Bill is providing venison.
  18. I actually looked it up and didn’t realize that stuff. Thanks for info. Sounds like he had to get some of the knucklehead out of his system but seems to have his head on straight.
  19. I don’t know anyone wants to sign a veteran rb to a deal when you can draft/ find a guy much cheaper with less miles. Miami had like 3 rbs better than Breida last year. It shouldn’t be that hard to find a Rb. it’s funny that we sucked for so many years but always could find a good rb. Now we’re good and it’s like our biggest problem haha.
  20. Basically, Brown got replaced by a better version of himself. Sucks but that’s the business. Seems like a legit good dude and he will have no problem finding a new team.
  21. Hughes had 5 sacks his first 3 years. I don’t think HR has any character or work ethic concerns. Sometimes it takes a bit. So trending up when you’re 26 is a bad thing? Would it have been better if he had 12.5 sacks as a rookie and went backwards? This team badly needs a legit number 1 pass rusher. Dude is probably going to be too expensive but I don’t why so many are quick to dismiss a guy trending in the right direction. Double digit sack guys entering their prime rarely hit the open market.
  22. Isn’t inconsistent his total career? But this is whatever. He made a couple of plays but I didn’t really notice him most games. But he’s young.
  23. The Pats Front office one of the most overrated groups in the history of sports. The only reason they were successful is they had Brady; didn’t sign him to a max deal; and then told FAs they could win a SB with Brady.
  24. I think this is one of the few times it has been universal wishing an ex bill well. proud of us. ☺️
  25. Thanks but this is the hard part of the job. People love killing Whaley but when you have good talent getting second contracts, it costs a lot more. the good/ bad side is they actually have a legit franchise guy. But the problem is when they have to pay him a ton. This is the SB window. This is when you go all in with short year contracts.
