At the same point, Allen had the same OC since his rookie year who just became a nfl head coach. That never happens. also with guys like Mahomes, Reid personally selected him after there were many questions about him. Reid had Alex Smith who didn’t throw a td to a receiver an entire season once and they made the playoffs! Mahomes is legit great and almost underrated on this board.

Besides Kelce, KC isn’t exactly loaded. Also, Burrow didn’t have Chase, Mixon, and Higgins for chucks of time. either way, even being in the MVP conversation is really really good. And I posted earlier in this thread that the mvp rarely wins the SB so I’m fine with Allen not winning it. You are vastly overrating KC’s rbs. This is what I can’t stand about this threads. All you try to do is knock the other guys. KC traded a player on pace to break the receiving record and has a bunch of 3 and 4 type wrs & Mahomes is playing awesome. Hurts, who was talked about getting replaced, helps his team get out to big leads and never turns the ball over. Allen maybe had the best start to the season of all the guys but has faded. Could be the injury. Could be the coaching but either way, you don’t have to put down another player to raise yours up.

I think he is washed and I hope he just shuts up. But if makes Josh happy, works for me. Still think we need a speed guy. Just not sure where you get one from now. and obj is a moron who cost himself a nice paycheck.

See I don’t agree with this at all and completely sells Hurts short. We have a top 5 defense and a top 5 receiver. It’s bs to pretend like it’s like the bears out there. If we had an average qb like Carr, we are more than likely a playoff team. Honestly Allen takes us to another level. all people have wanted to do since Hurts, one of the biggest recruits in the country, is replace hkm. He was a monster at Bama. He has gotten nothing but better as a nfl qb. Maybe that the guy who keeps betting better is becoming a good qb. Again this board loves knocking certain types of qbs more than others. Hurts is doing a lot of what Allen does. So it’s weird to praise Allen and knock Hurts.

I think it is completely harmless and some of looking to be offend. that said, maybe after last year, Bills receivers might want to give social media a break until after the season. I get your point but he is giving out prizes. maybe he is trying to stick to fans a bit but I think he is trying to have fun with it. but I don’t know. I played decent level of college football and it’s for me to criticize most players because I know how good they have to get that far. IM had a bad game. I swear the qbs that get hated on the most of this board are guys like Hurts, Newton, and Lamar. 🧐 hurts has improved every year since he left Alabama. He is having a great year. Why people can’t appreciate the type of qb he is becoming blows my mind. The Titans, one of the better defenses in the nfl, dared him to throw. He put up 380. He is much like Allen. He is well deserved to be in the MVP conversation. Allen certainly has carried the offense at times (though Diggs plays a huge part as well). But let’s not like pretend Allen hasn’t had a top 5 defense to play with too. The Chiefs have had A lot of awful defenses with Mahomes.

Try but also Fred Jackson and Kiko for McCoy. There are other ways to address this. We have used 2 3rd rounders and 1 2nd rounder (and also made a trade). That is a lot of pretty valuable resources to use on a rb in todays nfl. Definitely is one of the few weak points of Beane’s tenure. We should have a guy right now, especially playing with Allen who makes it easier to run.

Definitely not saying they are perfect but they are number 1 in yards and number 2 in points (.2 behind the Eagles) after trading TH who is on a record pace himself. How would our offense be looking this year without Diggs?

Did you honestly think they were going to lose? They just lost their hunger and were richarding around. I’m know we don’t like the chiefs but you have to be a homer to think our offense is playing as good as theirs. Can certainly change but this has been a very uneven month. I do agree with that. We definitely give up on the run too easy. Happened in the Detroit game. Hard when you have Allen and not want him to have the ball all the time. But what the nerds don’t get is running the ball physically wears out defenses. You need to have of type of balance.

Definitely not exactly killing it lately but man, how much have expectations changed? We used to pray for being listen in the hunt at like 6-7. Now we aren’t happy with 10-3 and a number 1 set. You do what you need to do to make the dance. So many ebbs and flows in a season. Enjoy the ride and be happy we have a Chance to play for a SB with a top qb and a good defense. We have plenty of time to complain if they lose in the off-season. 🤗

Good post. 2 different roles. STs is important but I can’t imagine how much better JK is than IH. Because IH is certainly a better receiver. But JK does make dope hemp bracelets so that is a big plus.

But the major difference is the Chiefs offense is getting better. Maybe it’s just the Allen injury but this offense has been off for like a month now.
