  1. He played 5 or 6 games with us and that was some of the best guard play I have seen since Ruben Brown or John Davis. What kind of character is an offensive lineman supposed to display? Of all our free agents he was the only one I hoped they would resign. If at all possible this team has gotten worse. We may only be a 2 or 3 win team next season, unless this team has a big free agency period and stellar draft, I'm making plans other than football on Sundays this fall.
  2. Yeah, I agree. We don't have any D-lineman that fit the 3-4. Williams and Stroud are strickly 4-3 DT's. They have neither the size to play the NT, nor the speed to play end. I think we can find the LB's, but D-line is going to be a mess. This team has so many holes to fill and now you throw in the 3-4. It may get worse before it get's better. I really think we should trade down, trade players for picks, whatever it takes to stock pile picks because we need a whole lot of help. We need WR's, T's, DE's, NT, QB, OLB's.
  3. He may have trade value or they think he can play end in the 3-4. I don't think Kelsey or Schobel will make the switch to olb, just not their natural positions. I would much rather they bulk up and give it a try a DE. Kelsey is a good player as is Schobel, the defense has always been good, they just need the offense to help them stay on the bench so they don't get worn down.
  4. Agree with 100%. Would not touch either Clausen or Bradford in the first round, just don't think either is worth a top 20 pick. They may end up being fine pro's, but it's hard to justify a first round pick. I would rather pick Lefevre or Pike in the third or fourth and groom them on the bench for a year or two. More likely we will spend a later round pick on a diamond in the rough than spend a high pick on one of the big names. No sure thing QB in this years draft.
  5. Good game, not great. Commercials were terrible. The Who was even worse. Not much running gane though, but that's what I would expect from these two qb's. It seems as though the NFL is becoming too much of a passing game. I enjoy the running game and defense. The rules have allowed the receivers to get away with too much.
  6. You don't draft "projects" that have one good year in college in the first round. Unless your the Bills. It does'nt take a rocket scientest to see that 225 DE ( maybe less) is'nt going to cut it against a 350lb. LT. Granted he's a rookie who held out of camp (by his own choice), but I just don't see his future in the league unless he can make the switch to OLB. Wish him the best and really hope he proves me wrong becuase he's eating up salary space.
  7. Vick is one of the most over-hyped players in the history of the NFL. He can scramble, but is inaccurate, can't read a defense, and has horrible character. Perfect wildcat qb, but not for the Bill's. I would take Fitzpatrick or Edwards any day hands down, they are much more complete qb's as incomplete as they are. Also opposing defenses are just wanting to literally kill this guy. He would'nt last for more than a few games as I am sure there would be a heavy bounty for his head.
  8. Wait till Obama Care kicks in. There will be a whole lot of dying going on. A casket cost less than a mammogram.
  9. I hope so. Then Wade could get an interview. God I would love to have Wade back at this point. Wade was our last taste of glory. Please Wade come back and take us to the promise land.
  10. That' exactly what this team is. A stepchild, bush league. We draft busts on purpose and when we do hit a home run, we let them go to free agency. We draft DB's becuase they are cheaper to sign. This is mearly a developmental team for players and coordinators. Ralph is not commited to winning, but putting fans in the seats. It's all about value, cheap players, cheap coaches, full stadium, equals profit in owners pocket. That's why no coaches will come here. They don't have control of draft and roster because Ralph tells them to pick cheap players and positions. Coaches know this organization puts profit over championships. Get enough home wins to keep the fan base happy and coming back with expectation of "next year".
  11. Not a good match up for the Colts. Thay have problems against the run and Revis will take away one of Payton's targets. I won't be pulling for Jets though. Rookie head coach, rookie QB in the championship game. I'm pissed and jealous. The Bills had better make the playoffs next year, nothing less is acceptable. Many first year coaches have taken their teams to the playoffs. No more 3 year plan for coaches and qb's. First year in or your gone.
  12. During the NBC pre game show they were saying Mangini may be back. The four game win streak may have saved him.
  13. During the halftime report Cowher was giving the Buffalo Indy highlights and score. He had this smile on his face that made me wonder if he did'nt already have the job and just had to wait until it was made official. I really think a deal is on the table and it's just a matter of time before it's official.
  14. Yeah, why hire a coach when we don't know who will be GM or run the football team. Why don't they(whom ever they are) get a GM or head of football operations in place first. I hope it is'nt Ralph calling the shots. I hope that's why Kelly and Thomas are getting involved, because it seems Ralph is clueless. The Browns got Holmgram in place and the Skins Paul Allen I believe. It seems they have put someone in place to GM and assist in a coaching search.
  15. Awesome! Dude only started 6 or 8 games and had nine picks? Imagine what a whole healthy season could have done? Hope he gets healthy enough to play all next season.
  16. Well then I guess the Bill's have only had one difference maker in their history, his name being Bruce Smith.
  17. Right on! I say put him a cage with a pitbull and let's see his courage.
  18. I think you mean 115-120lbs. The guy is smaller than some WR's and DB's in the game. I'll say it now there is no way this guy will ever amount to anything as DE in the NFL. An OLB in a 3-4 maybe. I have no idea what this team was looking at when they picked this guy. He does'nt fit our defense at all unless they plan on him being an OLB or safety. Scott is a safety forced to play linebacker and he looks huge when compared to Maybin. He just looks so fragile like if i grabbed his arm it might snap in two.
  19. He sucks! He's a terrible QB why would the Bills want him? We have had enough crappy QB's why sign another? I say put him in a cage with a pit bull and let's watch him fight. Now that would be entertaining. Or better yet wrap an eletrical cord around his neck and throw him some water and see how fast he moves.
  20. At least the guy has the diginity to admit he has lost some speed and might step down, unlike the highly overated Marcus Stroud who will come another year to leach a paycheck and take up a spot on the bench. Stroud has done nothing this, but watch running backs go by him. He should follow Schobel to the pasture.
  21. Best guard play Iv'e seen since Ruben Brown left. Guy is a beast. Was helping chip the NT and getting to the second level on every running play. The offensive line play on the first drive was the best all season. They should have run the ball every down all game long. Wood and Levitre need to watch this guy and learn.
  22. That's it, I'm going out and getting me his jersey. Anyone know what his number is?
  23. Awesome. I hope Wood can come back and start at center. I really don't see all the love for Hangartner, he is a little worse than Fowler if you ask me. He can't run block worth a darn, and does'nt have the strenght to handle DT's power rush.
  24. Yeah, I don't think Mitchell has to worry about being his team mate, because Mitchell should'nt be back next year any how and Incognito may. If Mitchell played with that kind of intensity he might be a decent linebacker.
  25. I think firing and hiring a coach in mid season is a bad idea. What coach would commit to a team with out first seeing what other jobs would become available. We have already been turned down by Holgram, Cowher, Marty, and probaly Shanahan. They should have kept their mouth shut till the day after the Superbowl and let Perry coach it out. If he produces he stays, if not you start interviews.
