  1. I believe it was for Tebow based on the remark by Wilson saying Denver paniced. I think they would have taken him in the second if Denver did'nt take him. Denver taking him ticked off Ralph so he made the comment.
  2. I do beleive our future QB is already on the roster. We will not draft one this year unless it's 5th round or later project. From the three young guys we have a starter will emerge. We will spend this draft filling holes along the offensive and defensive lines. I'm tired of all this Clausen or Tebow. None how's that. Our QB's are very talented we just have to give protection and weapons and go out and play some good defense. What do think about that.
  3. Well with Reed gone the if the season started today Roscoe would be the starting slot reciever. He's one of those players that's never really lived up to his pro potential except as a punt returner. I for one hope he can have a break through year and be succesful as a starting slot receiver and punt returner. I think he led the league for avg. punt return yards before he fumbled away the kick against Cleveland. I think it was Blake Constanze that put the nail the coffine last year by covering up the fumble. Parrish quickly found his way into the dog house never to return since.
  4. So what the hell are you doing staring at the computer screen all night? Go to bed.
  5. Never questioned his arm strength. Just stated he can't make all the throws and puts to much air under his balls. If his arm will never be mistaken for Flacco or Stafford's and is more like Sanchez's then his arm isn't super strong. It may be strong just not super strong o.k.. Again I say he is'nt worth a top ten pick. He may turn out to be a fantastic qb, just not worth the Bills spending the #9 pick on. If he's there in the second I would consider. We just have to many needs. I would rather play with guy's on our roster and fill other area's, pick a late round prospect that we will not be kicking or selves in the but over if he does'nt pan out. The only reason he's even considered in the the top of the draft is because he played for Wise at N.D. in a pro style offense.
  6. He will be on the roster for sure. Likely start on special teams and back up at inside linebacker. He's young and has nothing but upside. Mitchell is'nt getting any younger and next season could be gone so the kid just has to hang in there and if he's good enough they can't help but let him play.
  7. Gailey made the comment that he would like to have a "water bug" and Spiller certainly fits that profile. I would love to have him on the team. He is explosive unlike Lynch and would be a nice third down back to complete Jacksons first and second down runs. I don't know how well he catches and runs routes or if he can pick up a blitzer, but he must if he's considered this high in the draft. Lynch could still get plenty of playing time and chance to redeem himself, but if he has a season like last year he will quickly find a spot on the bench. That being said if Baluga is there or one of the other top three tackles we have to pull the trigger. We need three backs anyway.
  8. This is aweak qb class. Clausen is not worth a top ten pick. Cannot make all the throws and to much air under his balls. Bradford and McCoy are system qb's that played well in the spread offense. I think the value lies in the picking a later round guy like Pike, Lefevour or Skelton. I am in love with Pike. He has the it factor and if he could ride the pine for a year and gain some weight and experiance we will have a great qb. Same goes for Skelton, some time in practice will do him wonders. Lefevour I have cooled off some on.
  9. He seems to have the shoulder problem for about three years now. Towards the end of the last three years he's come up hurt and played hurt. I really hope he can make a full come back this year. If not we now have some great depth at CB, but Mcgee is great talent whom is highly underated in coverage. I think either Youboty or Corner can handle the back up with Youboty having the experience edge. Youboty really needs to take advantage of the opportunity given the chance he can steal the starting role.
  10. Never really had Lynch highly rated to begin with. I think he can be good with a consitent offensive line in front of him. He seemed to have tried to bulk up or add muscle last offseason and this may have hurt him. Willing to give him another shot under the new regime.
  11. Bradford, McCoy, and Clausen are all hype and I don't see any of them being great qb's in this league. They may turn out to be good, but not great. Not worthy of a top ten pick. The other qb's in this draft that will drafted later will be better value and one or two of them will develop into a good qb. Their are no can't miss for sure qb's in this draft. I would rather not spend our first or second round pick on a qb. I would much rather take a shot at Lefevour, Pike, Skelton or even Tebow, but in the third ar later. One of these later qb's will turn into the next Tom Brady sixth round wonder.
  12. I would love to trade Kyle Williams. He's probaly one of the only players we could get anything in return for. I don't htink he fits into the 3-4 at all and is purely a 4-3 DT. We could maybe even get as much as a third rounder. Everybody keeps saying trade Lynch, but I don't see any takers. This team needs to stock pile picks as we have many needs and Williams being the best bait with no real place in the lineup besides rotational NT, I say go for it. I love his play in the 4-3 and would'nt let him go for nothing if we stuck wiht the 4-3.
  13. I always thought Mitchell was a little slow actually. He can rush the passer from the inside better and i think that's where most of his pressure came from. I would like to see Poz try the outside along with Ellison. Maybin should be the starting OLB, but he has a lot to prove.
  14. One will do. With the addition of Green and Bell and Merideth on the roster one of the top 5 rated tackles would do. Question is whom and when. If they wait until the second the top rated guys will be gone, but the tackle position is deep and they could find a starter as late as the third round, but should'nt wait that long to pick one. I'm wondering if they should pick up another guard for insurance of Wood or if they move Wood to center and guard does'nt have much depth on our roster now. I'm still baffeled by the Incognito move as he would have been the starter for the next 5 years and would have made the Wood transition to center easier. Now the dolphins have their steam roller to open holes in our suspect DL. Is Seth Mcinney still on our roster? Not that it much matters just wondering?
  15. I was thinking POZ to the outside as well, but they resigned Ellison. With Maybin being a big question, I don't see them moving Mitchell anywhere. POZ and Ellison outside with Mitchell and Davis inside or Ellison and Mitchell outside with Davis and POZ inside.
  16. Maybin dude. What you did'nt see that 1/2 a tackle he had last year. After he stood around the pile he was yelling at the side lines like "I'm bad man. I'm bigger than your punter. Come on you want some me."
  17. Whitner is the one fueling the speculation with all his love for Cleveland. He's the one starting all the speculation with bringing in Vick also. We could'nt get much for him anyhow. Maybe a fifth?
  18. I love the signings. Not flashy, not overpaid. I love Green a solid veteran RT with some good years left in him, the dude can flat out block, an upgrade over anything we've had in years. He's not the fastest or the smartest, but will make us forget the injury plagued Butler. Merideth is a solid up and comer to back him up. Davis is another solid vet, again not the fastest or the smartest but a solid tackler whom is a huge linebacker in the 250+ range, a real banger unlike our little POZ. Edwards I know nothing about, but we can use some depth behind Kelsey and Schobel because Maybin is going outside and Ellis has shown nothing.
  19. Wish we put Whitner on the block. Probaly would'nt get much more than a 5th, but weve seen enough already. He's a liability in the pass game and Scott is much better against the run. Lankster should be given more play once Donte is gone. For what ever reason Whitner wants to go to Cleveland so let's straight up trade Whitner for Quinn.
  20. I would give Whitner or Lynch and a 6th or a fifth straight up. No higher than a fifth though. Ted Washington and Sam Adams and Pat Williams and Grady Jackson have all played well over 35 at the nose guard postion. He would give a few years to develop a young guy and rotate with them.
  21. I'm not really high on any of the top names, Bradford, Clausen, or McCoy. I would rather we take Pike, Lefevour, Skelton, in the third or fourth, let them sit for a year and play Brohm, Fitz or Edwards as this year is a wash any way. I don't think there is QB in this draft worth a first round pick.
  22. The Dolphins, Jets, and Pats could all use a Josh Reed. I always liked him. A good player. Smart, hard working, and a good set of third down hands. Reed was very sure handed. He did'nt drop many balls. The one game where he alligator armed it is the only time his catching has ever been questioned by me, I'm not the running full speed across the middle with a 200lb. safety getting ready to knock my head off.
  23. I did see him in the rotation getting a few reps later in the season. He showed up for maybe a couple of plays. Seems to get penetration once or twice. Makes about as much sense as moving Schobel or Kelsey to OLB. Just dreaming that we did'nt blow another draft pick and we could get some use out of him
