  1. I love Harrison - and I’d be thrilled to have him. But…it’s too much of a gamble. You hit - and you’re fine here. But if you miss - you’ve lost 3 or 4 years here. For a thought exercise only - imagine if you took a WR with every one of those picks. 2 first round WRs and 2 second round WRs. Now pick the best of those 4. How much better is Marvin Harrison? And how much more likely is it that Marvin Harrison will be a bust vs *all* 4 of those selections? protect the downside here. That’s too much to give up.
  2. Ever since Maryland, I never liked Diggs. Good player. Hurts on the field to lose him. But no love lost with me. Bye. Good riddance. The Thurman/Bruce/Reed day....THAT was killer.
  3. Well...have you seen the kind of crap Marvin Harrison Jr's dad did? Cant let that get public.
  4. The Rams apparently hate defense
  5. ya. Same as us until Josh. And a “lesser QB” because they are drafted later is a bad rubric. By this measure, Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Roger’s and Ben Roethlisbirger were all “lesser QBs”.
  6. JUST ENJOY IT. How much hate did Brady get?
  7. The thing that scares me is if they hit on a QB. A good defense. A solid offense. And if they get a young QB playing on a rookie deal - they could be a real contender. Not concerned with Aaron Rodgers though. Dude is done.
  8. Kinda amazing value was so low. I would be happy having someone like him behind Josh.
  9. He was such an awesome talent - with no injury history before the NFL. He is also as much of a receiver and YAC guy as he is a RB. I get why people were tempted. But you’re right. The days of an NFL RB changing the game for the better part of a decade are over - at least in today’s NFL. There is no reason to spend a top pick on a RB - the same reason why there is no reason to pay them top dollar (last years fight). You can simply plug in a James cook, Isaiah Pacheo, Devon Singletary or Tony pollard and you’ll do 90% of what the top guys do for 50% (or less) of the cash.
  10. I was hoping they signed him to a huge extension. lol. Guess we gotta settle for just Tua!
  11. And the conference championship would be a defacto playoff game.
  12. With the way we're trending - I probably agree, unfortunately ....Personally id like to see the conference championships mean something and be a gate to making the playoffs...
  13. NCAA is dead... should have been 6. Winner of Big10, Pac10, SEC, ACC and PAC12, and highest ranked P5. 2 Byes. or if 8...Winner of Big10, Pac10, SEC, ACC and PAC12, and highest ranked P5 and 2 at large bids. But now they have gone crazy.
  14. Hmm. Does anyone happen to know where Christian Wilkins was?
  15. id build an offense that just needs a QB and take the QB **NEXT** year. Get a WR and an OL and a TE...
  16. Leslie Fraser was actually a good defensive coordinator and got a raw deal. Josh Allen vomiting before games is disgusting Ranch is good with wings.
  17. You might need to re-read what I wrote...
  18. We're watching one of the best QBs to EVER play the game. Probably top 10-15 by the end of his career. Enjoy it.
  19. A little misleading as technically we traded a first for Diggs. But the bigger alarm is three RBs. I had to look to validate that. I remember cook, but forgot Singletary and moss were in there as 3rd rounders. Big difference if one of them was a productive WR, LB or DB last year. But I cant fault Beane/McDermott here. Drafting has been top notch. Sure we wish we could hit MORE - but I'd venture to say our hit rate is in the top tier. It's pretty incredible actually the late round "Hits". Gabe Davis, Benford, Spector, Teller, Shakir, Hamlin, Hodgins, Dane, Teller, McCloud, Neal.... Really the only bad recent misses are Elam, Basham, and Moss. You cant hit them all....but I think our hit rate is pretty damn good.
  20. Success breeds success. You gotta get that breakthrough. Until we do it - it’s going to loom over our heads. But once we do it - it will be 50/50 who will win. We’re right there. Our talent is on par. The difference is they know they have been there before and they know they can win. We know they have found a way to beat us every time it matters. It’s not talent. It’s mindset. And that’s hard to overcome.
  21. Does that trophy weigh about half a pound? they seem like its just being tossed around like its plastic.
  22. Is clock even an issue here? I assume they need a score before the clock hits zero, right?
  23. He did quit on us. Thats hard to beat. Dick Jauron has to be close though.
  24. Honestly, ive never been a fan. Ever since his "not shaking hands" incident at the Penn State/Maryland game in college I have been skeptical of him and his antics. There was a thread on here a couple years ago about "which bills player of all time did you not like" and he was my pick - and I took heat for it. None of this surprises me. Im glad he has been here - and helping us win....but it's transactional for me. I'm not a fan, and when his time here is done - I won't miss him.
  25. Right. And even if they ran the ball there - timeout was more valuable. Let the clock run.
