  1. I think if you gave Roger Goodell and some Park Avenue NFL Execs truth serum they probably would like to see Buffalo in the Super Bowl. Bills-Eagles or Bills-Washington would be refreshing for everyone. The ratings will be great regardless, but there is definitely some Chiefs fatigue nationally, and let's be honest if you aren't a KC fan no one gives a crap about their 3-peat. The Chiefs are currently on the longest playoff win streak (8) without missing the playoffs in NFL history. I do not believe this ref crew will get a call from the corporate office to "go easy" on KC and stick it to Buffalo. But I've said it all along, these refs are human and they tend to favor the home teams with calls or non-calls. So advantage Chiefs even if it's an unconscious bias by the refs.
  2. Just checking the radar seems like the band has been slamming the city and airport area to points north into Clarence, Akron, NF, Tonawanda, Lockport, etc... Orchard Park/Hamburg appears to be out of the bullseye at least this morning and afternoon so far.
  3. I said in the other thread, the Chiefs almost always win the penalty battle in their playoff games. If the Bills go from 1 penalty this past Sunday to 8 or 9 at Arrowhead I'm gonna have a meltdown. That would not make sense unless it's all obvious procedural stuff.
  4. I heard one broadcaster mention that KC has been hit with fewer penalties than their opponents in 8 of their last 9 playoff games. I think the refs let some stuff go last Sunday night on both clubs, but if suddenly the Bills go from be flagged one time to 9 times at Arrowhead I will have a huge beef with the refs.
  5. I think the OP is basically trying to say this is a House money game because they've exceeded expectations. Maybe in 2020 it was. Now it's not. This is the Championship of the AFC and it's a must-win.
  6. Yeah after watching Laporta make that diving one handed stab TD catch on Saturday night i was hoping for a Kincaid legacy game vs the Ravens. Didn't exactly pan out lol.
  7. I'm concerned about Worthy. He's going to get behind our guys. Mahomes missed him on a bomb TD by like half yard vs Houston. I think he just missed him on a bomb in our game. They are going to connect one of these times. The Chiefs offense has been a little off most of the season but they have some guys.
  8. I think Mahomes has gotten his calls, but in general, especially the playoffs I feel like the home team is gifted some calls, or beneficial non-calls. We only had 1 penalty on Sunday, and it was a bad call. anyone think the Bills had no other infractions in that game? I saw a couple that were let go. I'm hoping that's the case in KC. I feel like in our game there was a correction of sorts and the refs let them play more.
  9. Cooper doesn't suck by any means, but if his routes are forcing Josh to throw him the ball in these tiny little windows because he can't separate, he's not going to see the ball. This is not the game to make risky throws just to feed a guy.
  10. Peyton Manning did not beat Tom Brady in the playoffs until he was in his 30's. We can't have that be the case here.
  11. The main issue is that it's hard to get back here. KC and NE all those years make it look easy but it's not. Maybe next season Cinci is back hosting playoff games, or maybe the Bills have to play at Baltimore in a Divisional. The path might be a lot harder. or maybe the Bills can go off and have three consecutive years as the 1 seed while Allen is still in his prime? we just don't know. Take advantage now.
  12. I'm bringing it all the way back to the 1966 AFL Championship game when KC walked into the Rockpile and beat Buffalo 31-7 to advance to Super Bowl 1. My late grandfather was there and he was still pissed about that to his last day. We got them back once with Montana, but the Chiefs have ruined our great seasons in 2020, 2021 and 2023. We're looking at them in the eye this time, respecting what the Chiefs have accomplished, but collectively we are going to will this to happen in our favor.
  13. It would be a massive letdown to lose, but pretty sure they will recover because I think the Bills will have a better team next season. Who knows if it will show up in the record? or if they will go 10-0 at home again? But they will have a very good team.
  14. My general feel about the Ravens game, was despite the disparity in yardage and 3rd down efficiency...., the home crowd, weather and atmosphere in Orchard Park willed us to victory and helped cause the Ravens mistakes. It will be hugely important to not lose the turnover battle in KC. Even a minus 1 will be tough to overcome. I would take a 0-0 turnover ratio in this game. But without taking huge risks I do think the Bills will need more big plays from JA17 to win this one. Unless James Cook breaks off some long TD runs like Saquon, I don't think Allen will get away with throwing only 20 passes or whatever. He will also need to scramble 12-14 times I'm thinking.
  15. Same thing with Hail Mary's. A bunch of Bills defenders down there boxing out like basketball players, and one dude jumping, instead of 5 or 6 Bills defenders jumping to knock it down. It's like we do the opposite of every other team. The Onsides scared the hell out of me. Benford and the others on the front line wanted no part in fielding that ball. It was Rasul or bust.
  16. I watched some of Nick Wright's show yesterday on FS1. He's been fairly nice to the Bills this season, claiming he's one of the very in National Media that didn't predict a Bills decline and knew Allen would have this team where they are right now. Anyway, he won't say it on air but you can tell as a Chiefs fan he's nervous. He said he's not going to clown on Buffalo this week like he did Houston and the practice games are over for KC. Now it's going to be tough.
  17. I just don't see in a do or die playoff game, Josh throwing up 50/50 balls to Cooper and Keon and that's what those guys tend to specialize in. Ball security is much too important in all these games.
  18. Cmon Sean, time to win a big boy playoff road game like Kansas City did Twice last season.
  19. Well, if anyone had told me they could either win MVP or win that game last night, i’d take the game. MVP is whatever at this point. The ESPN faction of voters likely swung it to Lamar. CBS affiliated voters held firm with Allen. The rest will be a mix.
  20. There was no jinx. It wasn’t cocky. We respected the Ravens but McDermott was not losing a 3rd straight home Divisional. And he didn’t. Bravo
  21. Well McD said in his media call today that Hyde would not play in the game. So i’m not sure what reason they even brought him back here other than as a mentor?
  22. It's been noticeable since late in the season the refs are spotting the ball about half yard back from where it appears they should. For both teams. I thought maybe my eyes are going bad. I know it gets placed where the ball is when the knee is down,
  23. No, I had a similar thought about the Ravens game and put it out there to the board and we dug deep. No issues.
  24. If I'm not mistaken, Benford was on the front lines for that onsides kick at the end. He will be playing Sunday.
  25. That's all I have to say. It cannot happen Sean. This can't be your legacy. Dig deep and find a way to win this game.
