  1. Chris Jones gets all the pub for KC's defensive line but Charles Omenihu is a problem. He had 4 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble last week vs Houston. I'm sure the Bills are well aware. He tore his ACL is last years AFC Championship game at Baltimore, he came back in week 11 and their D is better. I'm kind of surprised he's been this good only a year removed from the ACL. Hopefully he is looking at the backsides of Bills players running by him.
  2. Keys to the game, convert your 3rd-downs (and 4th downs)…make your catches, make your kicks…and hang on to the damn ball. Lets gooooo!
  3. I’m really stoked that the game is in Arrowhead. I know it’s traditionally a hard place to win and the Bills have suffered a couple tough playoff losses there. But this club has been dialed in on road games. The offense plays well. Maybe they enjoy the “us against the world” feeling.
  4. The Ravens missed both 2-point conversions and guess what,,, they lost by 2. Dont be stupid and reckless. Especially if this is looking like a low scoring affair, take every point you can easily obtain.
  5. I was listening to Mad Dog Russo the other day on Sirius. He was breaking down and comparing the Bills and KC position groups, head coach, QB, Kicker, etc. He really couldn’t come up with where the Bills have a decided advantage other than maybe Oline. So he picked Buffalo and said the main reason is they are due to have something good happen at the end in their 4th game of this playoff series… and KC is due to have something bad happen at the end. That’s it. That was his final reasoning which we all hope for.
  6. Yes, the emotional hedge bet. I do it all the time. A grand is too rich for my blood but i’ll pay a few hundred for a Bills win. No problem. and if they lose i need to be rewarded for my pain.
  7. I think Buffalo will continue to do what they’ve been doing,,, smash mouth offense, move the chains, mitigate risk, capitalize on opportunities or takeaways. But obviously if the game goes off script and they have to start chucking the ball all around, they will. I think a big unknown is how effective Josh can be scrambling against this defense (The Ravens did a good job). and if James Cook can break one of his beautiful 45-50 yard explosive TD runs. That would be huge.
  8. Ha yep. i left my clothes from last sunday night on the floor, I’ll be wearing them again tomorrow. Will sit in the exact same spot watching as I did for Denver and Baltimore. I was going to get a haircut this week and said nope, I’ll wait till after this game. We are all doing our parts
  9. I told my teenage son to just try and enjoy the games. He gets as nervous as I do and is starting to mimic some of my dumb gameday superstitions. I don’t want him going down that road. Although i have to be honest, as i tell him this could be as close as the Bills get to a Super Bowl for the next decade. No one knows how future seasons will turn out. Just enjoy and be positive.
  10. I saw a story on X from a Kansas City TV station talking about the bet between mayors. Of course the usual BBQ or Wings. Anyway, they were interviewing the Kansas City Mayor and asked him questions about the SB parade and how they can have better security. He said a plan is in place but they aren’t sharing it yet. I mean cmon they are openly talking about their parade? We cannot allow them to get away with this!!! End Them!
  11. I am confident they can cover for Rapp for one week. But Benford too? if that’s the case i’m making plans on Super Bowl Sunday other than the game. That’s a blow.
  12. Yep. This late in the playoffs and we're missing just Taylor Rapp? That's amazing really. I think about all the injuries the past couple seasons. It sucks for Rapp but they can cover for him for one game. Compared to the November KC game we lose Rapp but get back Milano, Spencer Brown, Keon and Kincaid.
  13. Good guy, seems like such a players coach. They obviously wanted a voice in the room with experience and to steady the ship.
  14. Mahomes has something like a 126 passer rating in the 3 playoff games vs Buffalo and completes 75% of his passes. I mean c'mon D, they have to show up to win this thing.
  15. Pretty cool that the NFL has chosen the one referee (Clete Blakeman) who KC has a below .500 record against (5-6) and also one of the only referee who does not favor the home team. 54% of his penalties have gone against the home team. Home teams this season have gone an NFL worst 5-11 straight up with this guy as ref. I think the NFL threw the Bills a bone here and took away the narrative that the Ref has any pre-game bias for the home club or KC.
  16. I've thought about the revenge factor and made a big deal last week to mention how great McDermott is in revenge games. And Sean came through again vs Baltimore. I agree KC, Reid and Mahomes are the same way. They lose to Buffalo in the regular season and get all amped up to beat us in the playoffs. They have that extra edge for having lost earlier. This game, however, does feel different. I think all those playoff heartbreaks for the Bills will finally negate any "revenge" factor for KC. The Bills are going to come out and play like a bunch of rabid dogs for 60 minutes. We hope that's enough and that they play a clean game like last week.
  17. I get it, I did not forget. They are currently on a playoff record 8-game winning streak so no team has forced their hand lately. In their last 7 their high is 27 points so I'm crediting their Defense more than Mahomes for several of those wins.
  18. I agree somewhat, there are circumstances in each loss we can point to. You mentioned some and the Rams game was a few days after the Big AFC East clinching prime time snow game. McD was doing snow angels for goodness sakes. They were not going into that game with a "must win" playoff attitude. Even after the game McD was kinda pissed and said sometimes you need to be slapped in the face,, or punched in the mouth..whatever cliché' and learn valuables lessons from it. They went back home and regrouped and got out to a big 14-0 lead vs Detroit. To me this is a McDermott Legacy game. This is it. Back in 2020 they weren't ready for the moment yet,,,and Josh Allen has already played brilliantly against KC, left the field winning in 2021 and never touched the ball again.
  19. The Bills played 4 road games against playoff teams this season and gave up an average of 36 points. They were swiss cheese. Obviously if KC gets anywhere near that total on Sunday night it's a big L for Buffalo. The D needs to show up and play their best game of the season....maybe their best game over the past couple seasons considering the opponent.
  20. So we might be missing Rapp and no other major contributors? That would be awesome in my book compared to the last couple seasons.
  21. I hear you but Josh and the guys have played well there. They will be dialed in and i think will really enjoy this road atmosphere to get it done...much like KC had no problems playing in Buffalo last January. They were very efficient. I've been to various games and some Bills games in Baltimore at night. That is a stadium I'd chalk up a loss more than Kansas City. It's electric there.
  22. I agree to some extent but their last two Super Bowls over the 49ers and Eagles have been pretty good-competitive games till the end. I know I'm in the minority, but I'm OK with playing at Arrowhead for this AFC Championship. We just squeaked out of that Ravens game alive and I feel like the Bills 10-game home winning streak had an expiration date and it was coming up. Now the guys can bond together and use the "us against the world" attitude on the road, in a place they KNOW they can win. If the D can just dig deep and cover some dudes, they can do this.
  23. I really like the attention to detail these last couple weeks... the signing of the ex-Ravens backup QB for a few practices and now left footed punters.
  24. The eye in the sky seems shrouded in vagueness. I mean sometimes the refs pick up a flag and the announcers say, the eye in the sky called down. Then other times they can't pick up flags on obvious stuff like Facemask penalties that never happened. Does anyone really know when the eye in the sky can get involved or not? Surely the NFL does not want a terrible call to influence the Super Bowl participants.
  25. I recall Keon missing the first KC game back in November. Are any other Bills playing this Sunday who missed the first game?
