Really? There's at least 3 daily Delta flights per day to Atlanta....and they use the largest capacity jets that fly into BUF. And yeah, hopefully it's a home game vs San Diego...er LA.

Tua ruled out vs Buffalo, Skylar Thompson expected to start
zow2 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
One of their very first drives the Steelers went down the field like a hot knife through butter. lol, you cmon. To the Bills credit, as they've done in several games this season the D got driven on quite a bit and bailed themselves out with forced turnovers and 4th down stops. -
Saw this stat. i have no way of verifying it, but pretty cool. *Trevor Lawrence has never lost a game on a Saturday in high school, college, or the NFL*

You still gotta be ready and prepared. Last week Baltimore used a 3rd string QB no one ever heard of and rested some offensive players.. Cincinnati needed it and played the game for real. The Ravens still outgained the Bengals 386 to 257. Balt had four turnovers and only lost by 11. It's just a caution to beware and play the game with the intensity of everything on the line.

Tua ruled out vs Buffalo, Skylar Thompson expected to start
zow2 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Don't forget, it's loud as hell there and Skylar hasn't really experienced that kind of added layer of noise. The helmet mic has somewhat killed that advantage but he still has to work through it and get guys in position pre snap and audible. -
Tua ruled out vs Buffalo, Skylar Thompson expected to start

Miami will try to ball control with running it of course, and short passes. Control the clock and shorten the game. If Allen is playoff Josh Allen, the Bills should move the ball and score to the point Miami can't just play keep away in hopes of winning. They will need points. -
Tua ruled out vs Buffalo, Skylar Thompson expected to start

Nobody is afraid of Skylar but hopefully Leslie and the D leave no stone unturned here and take the game more seriously than some fans. afterall, this is the same unit that gave up 34 completions, 65%, 327 yards in Kenny Pickett’s first start…and outright lost to Zach Wilson which is an embarrassment based on his other games this season. -
Yep. I think Blue jersey, white pants should always be the home combo...I don't like monochrome anything but can accept the Bills players like them and feel a positive vibe in the all blues. If that's what they want to wear in the playoff home game(s), I'm all for it. Next season I hope they go back to wearing the blue over white and string some wins together in that uni.

It's been a little different this week regarding Tua. Not as much doom and gloom from National media demanding that Tua stays out for the rest of the season and contemplate retirement (as was the case in recent weeks). I think there's some wishful thinking amongst talking heads and neutral fans that Tua gets cleared to play and Miami can play close with Buffalo. At the end of the day people want to see competitive football games. I personally don't think Mike McDaniel will have anything to do with clearing Tua. They are going to defer to doctors..but there could be some organizational pressure to get him in there.

I didn't hear it but apparently Rich Gannon killed Kingsbury on some broadcast yesterday... Something about him never getting another NFL head coaching gig. Gannon hinted that Kingbury's offense was so disorganized and his work with the QB was not good. Again I didn't hear it... but NO Thanks for me on Kingsbury. That turned me off.

I think we all knew what happened from the NFL "command center" but it's interesting to see it in writing. As for the Bengals, they were infuriated with the coin toss scenario, but it goes deeper. The Bills were basically stripped of control of the #1 seed and bye.. Ok, that's a league decision they have to live with, but if they match up with KC it's at least at a neutral field. Correct me if I'm wrong but if all results from week 18 remained the same, and if Cinci had beaten Buffalo on MNF, a potential divisional matchup would be in Cincinnati. So if I'm the Bengals I'd still be fairly pissed off that playing the Bills would not at least be on a neutral field as well.

I know it's the NFL, but hopefully our coaches and leaders are taking a page from Kirby Smart. He said the Bulldogs were tired of being hunted and decided to be the hunters. It's corny but the motivational technique worked. They did not take a play off. Even though the Bills have not won a SB, it seems like they are everyone's Super Bowl. They are viewed as the team at the top of the mountain. They need to go after the Dolphins and whoever else with an intensity we haven't seen since the first two games. In reality, the Bengals are the kings of the AFC mountain as they are reigning AFC Champs.

Pretty cool for Chi-town. And yep, Our new stadium in Orchard Park will always be a monument to the Bills, in the middle of nowhere really, with no hotels or retail surrounding it. The venue will be used 10 times a year,, with maybe a few high school games added and a summer concert. We will still freeze our asses off for winter games but hey, at least it will have wind buffer technology around it.

i’ll bet TCU fans wish they weren’t in this mess. they get more respect by losing a hard fought game to Michigan than losing by 45+ in a Championship game.

Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert officially ruled out for Bills game

How do you have surgery, of any kind, and play and NFL game 6 days later? especially a ball carrier? sheesh, tough dude if he does play. -

Damar Hamlin - Now (1/11/2023) discharged from Buf Gen & “recovering at home”

That's awesome news! And good job to just do it, and not publicize the transfer. The last thing the family needs is a bunch of media types snooping around and invading their privacy. -
I'm usually pretty conservative but this smells like a game where Buffalo should go off. Fins did great by beating Buffalo once already (even though badly outgained) and really played a good game in Orchard Park to the wire. Now they have Buffalo's full attention for their running game and speed. As much as the New England game was important and for the 2 seed..The Bills were already in the tournament,,,and had a terrible week. They still won but really did not play anywhere close to a complete game. Now the stakes are for real...and this where Allen and Co. left off after 13 seconds in KC. You get playoff Josh at home...hopefully playoff defense as well. I'm normally nervous as hell but this game is not getting to me at all. The 3rd matchup should not be close like the first two.
-
We are one of the few defenses that allowed Zach Wilson and even Tua (in recent games) to look solid. So this defense clearly is designed to play off the receivers, let them catch it and limit the damage,,, then get a timely INT or something... allow a long drive to get sabotaged by a fumble, penalty or sack.

It didn't seem like Tua was close to playing this past week against the Jets.. so I would raise an eyebrow if he's suddenly cleared and good to go. BUT, if this were Josh Allen and it was playoff time i know a bunch of fans around here would be clamoring for him to play in a loser go-home game. So I don't look down upon Miami fans and others hoping upon hope that he's cleared. It's easy for us to sit here and say yeah..save your brain Tua and retire.
-
Some speculation on a few national shows I've heard this morning that Tua will be cleared from concussion protocol and will practice/play. Tyreek said he will be personally driving to Tua's house and picking him up. If Tua does play, all sympathetic feelings about him are off..i hope the Bills smash him.

NFL Week #18 - Patriots* @ Bills - Post Game Thread
zow2 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
No one knew how the Bills would play from this past week's events. The team looked disjointed, not buttoned up. I mean you saw how emotional the guys were, then after the game you hear someone like Tre White and he's still struggling with it. Except for the Special teams. The opening return was spectacular and then to do it again? That was surreal, and those returns won us the game. Those and the 2 explosive pass plays. Let's keep in mind, Kansas City played against a Raiders team with a backup QB who was completely out of the playoffs...Cincinnati played against a team that was resting starters and using a 3rd string QB. Only the Bills played a team who was truly battling for their playoff lives and we still won by double digits.
