If the word "historic" gets thrown in, then they might have to move the game. The NFL is going to try and keep this game on schedule, especially since the Bills play on Thursday the following week. Detroit is a good choice since there is precedent for a Bills game to be moved there. It's important to have NFL infrastructure in place (referee accommodations, stadium personnel, replay review system, sideline communications, etc..) So I think as they approach Friday, if the forecast remains dire, they will move to Detroit. Its not an inconvenience for the Browns either since they are even closer.

Early models show 31+ inches of Lake effect through Sunday night. That's a lot to deal with. Over the past few years the NFL seems to be taking weather more serious,,,especially for fans, employees, police, etc.. trying to get out to games and stay safe. This will be something to monitor for sure. I'm sure the Bills are already in touch with the league about options.

Yep. I cannot be the only Bills fan that appreciated Heinicke surrendering and taking a knee. and thinking Josh would’ve back pedaled there, thrown a desperation pass over the middle to have it picked off and Philly would have gone on to win. The QB Taking a knee on 3rd and 7 actually worked out beautifully!

Damn lucky Eagles in close games. lol. they’re gonna come back aren’t they.

Bills defense had 12 men on the field for Dalvin Cook red zone stop in OT
zow2 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
We got that missed call and probably Gabe’s sideline catch too. It wasn’t reviewed but looked like the tip scraped the ground while he was still trying to control the ball. Two breaks and they still screw it up. -
The OT’s are killing us. If any of the last 3 go the Bills way it likely changes the course of the teams fortunes. Win at Tampa and maybe they avoid KC in the playoffs or it’s at home. Win at KC and well…hello AFC Championship game in Orchard Park. Win yesterday and it’s TBD but this could ultimately cost them the AFC East title, seeding and possibly worse.

Again, as i mentioned in an earlier post the game was coming so easy for him. From the end of last season and playoffs through about the first half of Green Bay. I don’t think he can comprehend why the throws that we’re working are suddenly covered and disguises are fooling him. He’s not adjusting. I just think he’s in shock that the game is not coming as easy as it did. But this is why we all love NFL football. It’s unpredictable and happens live.

2022 Allen looks like a guy that thought he had it all figured out and the game was coming very easy to him... Now he can't seem to comprehend or adjust that he is the opponents Super Bowl. These are grown NFL men coming after him. They just want to crush him and/or bait him into mistakes and turnovers. Josh can still be Josh,,,,and scramble around.. but sometimes the punt or the FG are better than a risky play and turnover (or turnover on downs).

A Few Thoughts about the Vikings game, in no particular order
zow2 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
I can't shake this Vikings loss. Maybe because i was there. This one cuts deeper than the 13 seconds for me...even though that one had season ending ramifications. This loss yesterday has me questioning everything about this Bills squad..players and the coaching staff. This was predicted to be a Super Bowl contender. Injuries on D hurt, but the O has been relatively healthy. -
Not sure if I can handle even one more McDermott tragic ending, soul-crushing "pulling a Loss from the jaws of victory" defeat. I mean, i like McDermott, the whole process-culture thing but some of these losses are inexcusable. Just grind out some boring wins you friggin idiot. FG's or whatever do the job sometimes.

Seriously disappointed in this board at how many have turned on Allen
zow2 replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was telling my dad in the moment during OT, just don't throw anything over the middle of the field, too risky. Josh could have literally scrambled and slid his way down the field (to avoid contact), maybe even eventually scored without throwing the ball again. The DB's and LB's were dropping so far back. He just had to wait a second in the pocket and step and do his thing. It's really a shame.. he getting labeled as a Red zone turnover machine and 4 time OT losing QB. -
I think the Browns game could be a loss. Cleveland will run some smart schemes, play keep away and not turn it over. They will wait for the inevitable Buffalo mistakes. Winning an NFL football game is a lot about successful 3rd down conversions and limiting turnovers.

Just a question for you diehard Bills fans
zow2 replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Apparently the Minnesota Miracle was already taken back from the Diggs play vs New Orleans. But meltdown is certainly more appropriate from the Bills side. By the way i don’t know if anyone mentioned it but there were a crapload of Vikings fans at the game yesterday. I was surprised. My section was full of them, many came over from Canada. -

By the way, The Buffalo News has coined yesterdays game in their headline as the “Minnesota Meltdown”. So just add that to the list. -
Herbert kinda sucks in the clutch.

Reactions and thoughts on the team and game - post Minnesota loss
zow2 replied to Sharky7337's topic in The Stadium Wall
A bunch of you all week kept telling me the Minnesota game was the one we could “afford” to lose. Well, it happened. How it happened at this point does not matter anymore. Hopefully a few lessons were learned along the way, but this is the same result had Case Keenum started and we lost 23-6. So the Bills need to start a new season next week. Start figuring out a way to grind out wins like Kansas City seems to do a lot. Stop outsmarting yourselves with 4th down call when a FG would be fine and take care of the gosh darn ball. -
The Bills have read their press clippings a little too much. They just aren’t as good as advertised and certainly not working hard enough to get themselves back on track. Hence the lousy 2nd halves.

NFL Week 10 - Vikings at Bills post game thread
zow2 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not sure if you really want an answer or are just frustrated, but the fans care more, for sure. We live here our whole lives and the chase for the Championship is what we live for. These players are here a relatively short time then go back to their respective cities with their money and beautiful families and hopefully their health intact. Yeah we’re dying over these painful losses for years. -
Nyheim Hines: Why did we bother trading for him?
zow2 replied to EasternOHBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hines actually saved some yardage on punts today. He fielded a few short ones that could’ve bounced and really hurt field position. -
I was at the game but barely noticed Von. Did he do anything?! There were so many drop backs by Cousins today and i saw him hardly pressured. OT it got a little better. but he still threaded passes.
-
Can’t see it happening. They *should* beat Cleve and Det but let’s face it, stranger things have happened. That 3 game stretch of NE, NYJ, Mia is a lock for 1 loss. I really think those teams have a recipe to beat us now. The final 3 game stretch looks like an L at Cincinnati. So i figured 11-6 or if thing continue to spiral and more injuries occur could be 10-7.

Herbert is dropping some dimes tonight. He looks dialed in.

NFL Week 10 - Vikings at Bills post game thread
zow2 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
This loss has cut me deeper than the KC 13 seconds deal. i’m trying to figure out why. After that game i was hurt but knew we had a team, a QB that is fantastic. We’d definitely be in the mix for years. This game and the last few have me questioning the defense, the head coach and even Josh Allen… who seems to have met his kryptonite lately. Yes there are injuries too but those aren’t going away. Other teams have worse injuries. -
Peterson said he knew from film study what Allen was gonna do on his game winning INT. That sucked to hear. He knew the exact route Gabe was running.
