  1. I hate the eye rollers. Just don’t react,… read and move on. Let’s watch Mahomes on one leg next week, make plays from the pocket. That being said, the Bills would be a 6 win team without Allen. He’s everything. They just need to retool the offense and make it so he doesn’t have to make spectacular solo plays to win.
  2. No question, this is the first time i’ve felt the Bills regressing during the Allen era. So far it’s been ascending but we hit the wall recently and it culminated yesterday.
  3. All the talk the last few seasons was how Allen and Mahomes would be battling for the next decade. it’s really Mahomes and Burrow who are the big dogs.
  4. Another observation, i couldn’t believe how many Bengals fans were at the stadium today? by the end, they lined the lower level all around the visitors side. Like end zone to end zone. A few thousand id estimate.
  5. I was curious if the Bills would match up better with Cincinnati than they did in the playoffs vs KC. That’s a resounding no. I can see the Bengals beating KC this week especially with an injured Mahomes. I hate to say it, but Cincinnati may not win one Super Bowl., if they can keep their core together they should win multiple Super Bowls. As cocky as they are, that’s an impressive team. They don’t do anything to hurt themselves.
  6. It’s sad and becoming more clear and in focus now that Kansas City/Mahomes and Cincinnati/Burrow are better than Allen and the Bills. It doesn’t mean that will be the case every year but that’s reality these past few seasons and maybe going forward. It feels like if the Bills ever break through, it will be when it’s not expected. Maybe they don’t win the division one of these years, get in as a wild card and go on a run.
  7. I’m calm tonight because this was such a thorough butt kicking. We were not the better team, and would not have won the Super Bowl. Cincinnati has a nice offensive plan and exploited us. The Bills offensive plan is to wing it with Allen and maybe mix in a handoff here and there. The only thing that was stunning today is how woefully unprepared the Bills were. I’m blown away that McDermott did not have his guys ready to play. and Zac Taylor was dialed in.
  8. I was at the game today and this wasn’t painful. This was just a flat out beat down. It was more disappointing than hurtful. You could tell from the very first series we weren’t the better team. We kept hoping it would change but never felt any momentum. A soul crushing loss like 13 seconds would’ve left me scarred. I left the stadium today knowing full well this club was not going to come close to winning the Super Bowl. Not a chance. The Bengals are on a different level
  9. Unlike last week i think the D will play with an edge today and be super physical. We may not see “New England perfect game” Josh but he’s going to be dialed in and play a very good game. Cant wait. Leaving in a couple hours for the stadium.
  10. By the way, per Shefter the Bengals OC, Brian Callahan had a head coach interview with the Colts today. So we can call it a wash with distracted OC’s this weekend 😜
  11. I hear you. Let's face it, compared to what Miami started on offense last week, Cinci will be way way better.. and the Bills barely got by 34-31. Both teams have pressure.
  12. He said the Bills should win by 8-10 pts, but if Cincinnati didn't have O-line injuries, he would flip his prediction and pick Cinci by 8-10 pts. Therefore ALL the pressure is on Buffalo.
  13. TJ Houshmandzadeh said that the Bengals Left tackle is a former 2nd round pick from Clemson and he's pretty good. He thinks the guy will hold up.
  14. I heard him say that too. And that the pressure is all on the Bills. Listen, I don't care if Cincinnati's O-line was 100% healthy for this game. This is a must-win for the Bills and I expect them to win. The Championship window ain't going to stay open indefinitely. The time is now. It's a Super Bowl or bust season and we've known that from game 1.
  15. Yup. he is straddling the line of getting hit with an untimely 15 yarder that could cost us dearly. It's one thing when a player is the 3rd man in on a scuffle to be the peacemaker and pull guys back. Brown goes in wanting to F* someone up! He's a gigantic dude and I'm not sure he has any impulse control... Hopefully McD has gotten through.
  16. I bring up Spencer Brown because this dude needs to be careful after the whistle. There has been a few games this season and recently (Miami last week) where he was getting into it after a play ends and borderline getting a 15 yarder. He's been 3rd man in a few times on scuffles and had to be pulled back. He's physical, and a hot head, which can be good during the play, but not afterwards.
  17. Simple recipe Defense- Tackle well, don't whiff, be physical. Take the ball away. Keep chunk plays under control. Offense- Hang on to the ball. Be physical when running. Receivers cannot let the football deflect off their hands or chest into the waiting arms of defenders. Allen be playoff Allen.
  18. What was noticeable in that game was how physical Cincinnati came out on Defense and Offense. I mean it was really obvious that was their plan. They were smashing the Bills, and giving the extra "business" on tackles and blocks...borderline dirty. Well in one case it was dirty. I do not think the Bengals coud have maintained that intensity, but they had us for the 1st Qtr. I'm sure the Bills are aware of that aspect and this game will NOT be a repeat. Buffalo will not be out-physical'd in this one.
  19. That would be amazing but i can’t see that. I will say that a lot of Cincinnati’s recent playoff success (5 games) is due to positive turnover ratio in every game. That needs to end here. This game feels like a Super Bowl at Highmark Stadium. I do believe the winner of this game will also win the SB. It’s that big.
  20. I saw a lot of the Tampa game. The Bengals looked terrible against what proved to be a below avg Bucs team, except for those turnovers. That flipped the whole game. Cinci has been feasting off other teams turnovers for 5 straight playoff games. Credit to them they have a positive turnover ratio in all 5 games. I think that's been more about their playoff success than even Burrow. We'll see if the Bills can put a stop to that.
  21. Some of the narrative on ESPN Get Up this morning.. "The Buffalo Bills are playing bad football, sloppy ball, no pass rush they are descending". "The Bengals will get after the QB much better and they are an ascending team"
  22. I’ll tell you one thing, i trust Singletary a lot more getting the handoff on 3rd and 1 or short yardage. Motor does not go down with arms reaching out to grab him. He runs through tackles better than James Cook right now. I also think he has better vision to find the seam at this stage in his career. That’s not to say i don’t want Cook to get any carries, just not 75% like you suggest.
  23. They pretty much need to replicate the Titans game. that was probably the last time, and they sat guys for a Qtr.
  24. Jeez, between ESPN and the Cowherd show today, betting on the Bengals sounds like the play this weekend. Even Greg Cosell, while lauding Josh Allen, said the Bills offense just is not very talented,,,nor is the defense right now. It's all Josh and whether he is on that day.
  25. Joe is very good, but the Bengals D and + turnover ratio in their last 5 playoff games has been the key to their success. That script has to flip starting at 3pm Sunday.
