So much better than Fraziers Tampa-2 nonsense. I wish we could’ve had this McDermott style D in those playoff games at KC.

I’ve rarely seen the Bills D play harder. They want the shutout in the worst way -

These are the kind of games makes me feel the NFL is somewhat scripted. Team in lead gets hit w flags galore -

Weather update onsite, its doing exactly what was predicted over the last couple days. It’s a drenching rain this morning as the core of the depression is moving through DC/MD. The rain is moving north and is supposed to lighten up as we get closer to Noon. Maybe some light showers for the Anthem and start of the game and possibly no rain at all as it moves to the second half. At 7:50am The east side of the beltway where the stadium is, showing less precipitation than the western and north sides. -
I sure would hope so. But most of the rain Sunday will be before 1pm and the tarp will be off for that.
-
At 8:25pm the wind advisory has been discontinued for DC. Ophelia has been downgraded to a depression, winds are easing up. The core of the low pressure will pass over DC region overnight. Some local forecasters have predicted by 1pm the rain may be north and east. some sprinkles and gloomy looking but this may not be terrible weather. Who knows about field conditions though, could be a lot of slipping.

The Bills charter plane landed shortly after 3. It was scheduled for BWI but saw on the flight radar app it ended up landing at Dulles Airport out in Virginia. I imagine weather had something to do with that. Dulles is more of a hike to FedEx field than from BWI but both are pretty far out. maybe the team is staying in DC where the nice hotels are.

People were down on James Cook after game 1 and wanted to see him play tougher. After game 2 he's the next Barry Sanders/Emmitt Smith. It's a stone cold lead pipe lock that this thread will be resurrected at points during the season when James finds some rough sledding. I hope he continues to produce big numbers, but I want Dorsey to have a feel and play the hot RB hand. Whoever is moving the ball that game.

I always got the feeling Bills fans in general disliked Moss. I thought he was decent to be honest and often wanted him to be used more. I'm glad he's doing well. Now that Hines is injured, (and i predict will never play for the Bills again)... I'm sure Indy fans feel like they fleeced Buffalo.

I did something similar for the opener. I was nervous so I placed an emotional hedge bet. I was basically willing to pay $100 for a Bills victory. So I put $100 on the underdog Jets straight up to win. I was pissed about the loss, but in the end that gut punch loss on MNF infused some good $ into my Bet MGM account for the next few weeks. I'm not doing this for the Commanders game.

DC is the home of half-smokes which are larger than hot dogs, spicier and i’m pretty sure are half beef half pork. They are popular at well known restaurant Ben’s Chili Bowl. It’s also home to mambo sauce which they invented and put on BBQ, Chicken, ribs, etc.. Theres also a wharf in DC which sells and cook fresh seafood from the bay and Atlantic ocean so any seafood is fair game. There ya go.

The local weather shows soaking rain still in the area Sunday AM, for the tailgate and walk to the stadium. Right at 1pm the future radar shows the rain line moving just north of the stadium and continuing to move northeast. Sounds like a drenched field, but not bad weather conditions for the actual game.
-
Payne is gonna play, he practiced today. Logan Thomas got rocked. He’s probably out for Sunday.
-
Purdy doesn’t wow me. He’s a ball distributor. which is fine, they have so many playmakers. he doesn’t have to be one. just dump it off or throw those 8-10 yard passes and get YAC. don’t throw picks.

These refs are over-officious jerks

This tropical cyclone/Nor’easter that will be hitting right over the DC/Baltimore region on Saturday & Sat night will be delaying and/or cancelling flights. Bills fans flying down should be flexible and have a backup plan to bail on the flight and to drive instead.

Only one Diggs left to carry the Lombardi trophy for the Diggs family. Trevon will be rooting for his bro now.
