  1. No way. I’ve held it together over the past few years with all the strange endings and weirdness while they waste a historically productive offense. Then the nonsense this year, i finally lost it after the 12-men Denver ending. Then the Philly debacle with our supposed “defensive head coach” who cannot scheme a defense to stop a drive at the end of games to save his life.(and won’t trust his QB with 20 seconds). Now I am unhinged! Barring 9 straight wins to a SB miracle, get this man outta town.
  2. Von’s public persona is so nice and upbeat. You just never know what a person is like behind closed doors.
  3. OK let’s not pretend, Terry, that McD is like Belichek and his vast array of hardware is enough in the bank to keep him around. We need more out of the head coach at this point and we need Allen to have an Offensive coach he can stick with for the remainder of his QB career in Buffalo.
  4. The bye week was not kind to Von Miller. He can’t get around the edge to save his life but he can grab a pregnant woman by the throat and hair. What a scum. See ya Von.
  5. Terry should have started the process of divesting himself of the Sabres a couple years ago. The team has done nothing in his tenure and the arena is in need of some massive and expensive upgrades. I think there's a good chance that if the team misses the playoffs, McDermott is gone. Unless Beane insists on following McD out the door, I think BB gets retained at GM. That would be more important for behind the scenes continuity. Beane may hit and miss on some players (like they all do)... but he is a very smart GM and knows the NFL landscape as well as anyone out there.
  6. If Terry read our recommendations and used them he'd have about 3 Lombardi's in his office by now. C'mon Pegs! Listen up.
  7. Cowherd and his sidekick are now floating that if the Belichek/New England marriage ends on contentious note, he would love the Bills job with a ready made QB that he gushes over. That would be hilarious if McDermott then went to coach New England. The circle of life.
  8. The game has simply gotten too fast for the officials, who are not 20-something year old dudes. Bottom line, they call too much judgement stuff that they *think* they see but really didn’t happen, or they will miss something obvious. More reviews should be eligible as much as people hate that. Get the calls right.
  9. Von should not see the field again. He’s killing us this season.
  10. Yeah good point. I saw that teams with the Bills offensive proficiency in a game were 39-0 in NFL history, until Sunday night. That alone should get his seat blazing hot, let alone the other mystifying failures.
  11. Even in business, companies are growing or slowly dying. Nothing stays stagnant. We had a great run with McD. Maybe he has one more amazing run in him. It's not likely though. Not making the playoffs should be a 100% guaranteed head coach change.
  12. Whatever McD's defensive "legacy" was with the Bills or previous teams has been blown up in my mind. His defensive schemes, his crunch time decision making...Just sucks. There's nothing more that can be said. You're supposed to be good at one thing Sean, Defense, and you suck.
  13. After this season's weird events, I was ready for Sean to empty his desk after the Denver debacle. Then we have more weirdness in the Philly game with the kneel down, and McD's defense failing TWICE to close out the game at the end of regulation and OT. Basically it's run the table, or time to leave. For the rest of his career in Buffalo, Josh Allen needs an offensive head coach who he is in total sync with...not a revolving door of offensive coordinators.
  14. McDermott seemed different in the weekly media sessions this week. He seemed almost apologetic at times. I'm sure he knows he is letting the team down as much as anyone.
  15. The thing is, the Patriots would be morons to not roll out Mac Jones in our game just to grasp. I mean he was vintage Steve Grogan against the Bills.
  16. I won’t say the word but i hope the KC Green Bay game is really hard hitting. As well as Miami v Washington and the other AFC wild card hopefuls
  17. Yep. Nobody knows, the guy could be the next McVay or any number of recent young coaches who we didn’t see coming. If those offensive numbers continue to pop in his short tenure, other organizations will quickly take notice.
  18. Keep in mind, nobody but the very top wins ALL the games they are supposed to win. It just doesn’t happen. Miami has managed to do it so far but i refuse to believe they will win every game they are favored in. No way. Nor will the other wild card wannabes.
  19. The more i think about it, barring a miracle, like Staley…. McDermott has got to go. You have a few more years kicking the can with Herbert and Allen. Gotta get whatever offensive genius is out there to team up with Allen. Heck maybe it’s even Joe Brady if the offense continues to kill it… because he will get scooped up too if they average 30pts per game in the final seven.
  20. McDermott gets a lot of credit for bringing this organization back from the dead. He’s done a lot of great things. Defensive coordinators as head coach are becoming dinosaurs. We have top-2 or 3 best QB in the NFL. These other guys have their head coaches as their OC’s as well and they are always in sync. If you get a good OC in Buffalo he will be head coach somewhere else in a year or so.
  21. Maybe the Bills can start their prep by being able to send 11 men out on clutch FG defense at the end of a game. Maybe 'ol Sean McD can actually count to 12 himself. Just start with the little, easily controllable things. I mean how stupid is it that Diggs is out there flapping his wings like we won...way before it's over.. Or Ed Oliver, or whoever jawing with fans during the action. Jesus, buckle down guys.
  22. It might be obvious to general fans, but this is the first hint at this coaching change from inside their headquarters. For Bills fans, this could affect how LA plays Buffalo on Christmas, we shall see. It also will affect available coaching candidates if the Bills make a change themselves. The last couple weeks I heard Belichek possibly to Washington and just today heard the Carolina owner will be pursuing BB very hard.
  23. The Herd has a report that barring a miracle, the LA Chargers are moving off of Brandon Staley at the end of the season. The owner of the Chargers won't fire a coach in-season but he's reportedly gone.
  24. There's one thing separating the Bills with teams like KC and Philly, and it's kind of an intangible. The DNA makeup of the Buffalo Bills does not include the clutch gene. They can compile some of the best offensive numbers the league has ever seen, They have an incredible knockout punch against mediocre teams... and the defense can use smoke and mirrors to be top 5 in all sorts of categories. But the team is not clutch when it counts. and I don't know how that gets fixed.
  25. That overhead replay is so hard to watch.. ugh, Davis got the DB to stumble and he was wide open. The WIN was right there. The safer throw would seem to be the outside far corner where Gabe was running towards. That's one of those throws where either Gabe catches it or no one. So I can't really tell who was in the wrong here. There was another pass to Gabe (i can't remember when?) but it was 3rd down I believe and Allen hit the DB in the backside instead of throwing it over the top to Gabe who had a step.
