Good post. Its been so long since we've been above average. Now that it is officially over it is back to the drawing board. Decisions need to be made about next year about a bunch of different positions as well as on the coaching staff.

I am not at all happy with the coaching staff particularly at head coach and the defense is either not that good or clearly playing in the wrong system. Main thing I look at here is we will be waiting until next season and hoping that we find a way to the playoffs in 2016. Cause lets be honest here, the Patriots are not going anywhere.

Trestman would be an upgrade, no doubt about it. But he were to somehow come to Buffalo, Cutler would not.

I was a junior in high school. I watched the entire game and when the throwback play stood as a touchdown I got multiple calls from a few buddies laughing at how the bills happened to blow the lead. I didn't realize at that time that would be the last game for Bruce, Thurman and Andre as a Bill too which made it even worse a few weeks later.

It was great meeting and talking to Marv last night on Christmas Eve. He's obviously very smart, approachable and extremely humble. I got to ask him mainly about his coaching. Despite his age, I would still love it if he came back and coached the bills. "If its too tough for them............."

Good job breaking it down. It would be nice if we went into New England with the game meaning something. We need a lot of help to get there from other teams, but as everyone on the board knows, we have to win out. One more loss and we are done for 2014.

The Sammy Watkins trade is exciting in terms of risk of potential and there are a lot of offensive weapons. The defense should be above average despite some loses (Alonso and Byrd). The season will hinge on how our quarterback develops. If he's good a record of 9-7 to possibly 10-6 is not out of the question. However, if there is no improvement, anywhere from 4-12 to 6-10 could be realistic.

All of this will be worth it IF we have a chance to make the playoffs in December. Otherwise, the bashing will be unavoidable.
