  1. As much as it is great to see the Bills win, getting ahead of ourselves is the last thing you want to do at this point. The object now is to beat Oakland next Sunday. It's a game I think we have a good chance to win but we'll have to play with the same intensity as we had yesterday.
  2. Close game. I'll go with Kansas City 19 Buffalo 17
  3. That is true. The Braves usually have good pitching every year. Now whether they can get past the Phillies this year is another story.
  4. I think your opinions are accurate but I am not convinced yet about the NL West. I still think the Giants will come back and end up winning that division.
  5. I agree, It would be foolish to cut McGee. When he is healthy he can make plays for us. Unless the front office wants to get rid of every Tom D player that he drafted and start over again.
  6. It is quiet over here for now but once the playoffs come around I think this forum will pick up. While the Braves are playing well and as good as the Phillies can be, it seems like the Brewers are the team to beat at the moment in the NL.
  7. I think we'll have a better home record this year than last year. You are correct imo, our defense will be better overall. I think 6-10 to 8-8 seems realistic.
  8. I think this looks pretty accurate but I would imagine the Bills having one more CB on the roster and maybe one less lb.
  9. No way Buffalo picks him up. I think the Bears or the Eagles will most likely sign him in the next few days. The center position for Buffalo is in good shape with Eric Wood.
  10. As much as he would help our franchise, I would not want to go 0-16 this season or any season.
  11. There is no doubt that we will be below .500. I'm just not convinced that we have a chance this year.
  12. Well, if this is true about demoting Andy L, maybe someone with more experience in football can explain this too me.
  13. I agree and Kyle was still making plays. The defensive tackle area seems to be solid and we have good depth at the position.
  14. Well I did go the game but it is a little late for a full game description. I think what a lot of posters have mentioned is correct. Merriman was outstanding and Dareus makes us better on the inside. The one position I think we actually do have depth at is defensive tackle and possibly throughout the defensive line. The special teams will get better, I am confident of this. While we may not be the best special teams team in the league, I think this area will improve overall as the season goes on. As for the offense, I really didn't see anything jump out at me throughout the game. The right side of the offensive line in my opinion really did not have the best game. Fortunately, Chan Gailey is a good offensive coach so maybe we can get some of these things straightened out so we can score some touchdowns. The trade of Lee Evans still does not make sense to me, but maybe the front office knows something that we don't. The preseason is for getting better and hopefully we continue to improve.
  15. I will be at Solider Field tonight and will be staying for most of the game. I will give everyone a thorough report on what I saw both positive and negative tonight. While I am not one of the fans in favor of the Lee Evans trade, I will watch the wide receivers tonight to see if they get separation from the DB's of the Bears and most of all if they can catch the football.
  16. I will be there tomorrow in section 440. Anyone else going to the game?
  17. I agree. Maybe Stephen Tulloch or Keith Bulluck.
  18. That's for sure. Maybe, just maybe we will land him.
  19. Well, we can now start talking about football again. Whitner seems like he does not want to be here anymore, so like some posters have said, if he gets the money he is looking for, good for him. He is a solid safety at stopping the run.
  20. Yes I would do this trade if it was available but change next years 3rd rounder to a 2nd rounder. But obviously, if we have a player that we want at 34 then draft the guy we want.
  21. I don't think that there is any question about that. If a team like the Redskins want Gabbert, then I think trading the #3 overall pick for the #10 pick, this year's 2nd round pick and next years 1st round pick is a good deal and the Bills should certainly consider that deal. Otherwise stay at #3.
  22. Well, if there is no season this year, what happens with next year's draft? Does it still go in the same draft order as this year? If so maybe we can move up to get Andrew Luck.
  23. If we do take Von Miller with the 3rd pick and there is a decent chance of the happening, the outside linebacker position will certainly have some nice depth. I'd still like to see us pick up an inside linebacker somewhere in the middle rounds of the draft.
  24. I have to ask, what made/drove you to get that tattoo?
  25. I'll take Chicago
