I understand your frusturation. But I don't think this is like RJ and Flutie. That situation was tough to deal with. This one, I don't think there is an controversy. I just think that MM wants to go with someone who wants to win right now so he doesn't lose his job.
You're comparing Eric Moulds and Bruce Smith now? What did Bruce Smith do in his career? Oh that's right he only dominated his position. To call him a self centered person is ridiculous
He's just as frusturated as we are. Would you rather have no players stand up and not say anything? If Moulds thinks that and is taking steps to be the leader, why is that a problem?
I wouldn't say Sam is a non-factor. He's defeintely giving it his all but there's no one next to him that going to do what Pat did for us last year, not yet anyway.
The reason it makes sense is because MM wants to win now and he thinks that Holcomb gives them the best chance. I really don't blame him at all. His job is on the line here. If Holcomb doesn't come through, he knows he's in trouble. But I give him credit for trying something else.
I was thinking Ace Ventura. By the way, he missed the kick in the movie and in the real game. I my heart goes out to Norwood everytime a close game comes on that decided by a last second field goal.
I don't know how you came up with the idea that Wade's team quit. Wade might have made some questionable coaching moves but to call Wade Phillips's team quiters is incorrect.
I'd say we have a good D, but very good...... not really. You're right, as long as team's find a way to keep their offensive on the field against our defense, were going to be in constant pressure situation.
That's on the mark, but who else can we replace him with? Our depth is a problem, but I guess while were playing our young QB, we might as well experiment with our OL rookies.
