  1. Yes it is optimistic. Yes, he has shown the ability to move the ball once in a while. What I haven't seen since the first game is the ability to throw the ball down the field. Granted his offensive line on several plays isn't giving him enough time, but it would be nice to see some progress next week. It's not going to happen over night, we know that.
  2. I saw that game last night till the very end. A true classic. I agree with you, I liked what Fullmer did by taking out the strong armed Ainge to put in the leader Claussen when they were down 21-0.
  3. I strongly disagree with you about the OL. The OL blocking was below average the entire game. JP didn't have very much time to throw and when he did, as he put it- was hesitant. I think he was hesitant because he was thinking he was going to get hit. The quarterback sneak was not the greatest of calls but to pick up a yard you've got to get the push against that DL
  4. Well said. What you mentioned is right on the mark.
  5. Bledsoe was as good as anyone when he had time to throw last season which wasn't all that often. This year I think he would have been more frusturated than last year.
  6. Well if that's the case then its rebuilding all over again. What would the point of all of that? Not resigning Clements? Then we let him go and then draft a first or second round CB. We would be right back to square one of the TD era.
  7. Good post. You listed all of the Bills draft picks along with their free agent pickups and on the offensive line it hasn't been consistent. It would be nice to get a few extra OL lineman who are solid players. Mike Williams eventually will be good, if not great.
  8. I will hold you to that comment next year. Get an offensive line that can pass block and then we'll see how good JP is.
  9. I still say 8-8. This team still has a lot of fight left in them. If JP had a little more time to throw, then I think that would open the door. if he doesn't get anytime like today, 5-11 could hold up.
  10. Since the first week when we won I haven't heard a lot about Edwards. I also saw that we were using Tim Anderson and Justin Bannan a lot today. Is it possible that he'll be replaced in the starting lineup?
  11. For those that have been falsely optimistic about our offense line I think now is the time to say it, we have a below average offensive line. I who cares that we were missing some starters, it was still downright embarrassing at times. You're right Mike our offensive line has been on the rebound for the past 10 years. In 2002 we were optimistic about Mike Williams being the next big thing. But what about the rest of the line? At times during todays game it looked like we were outmatched DL vs. OL in almost every matchup.
  12. Bills rebound from last week and their offense starts throwing the ball more to open up the run. Bills 20 Falcons 12
  13. This week it is Buffalo who responds to the bad performance last week. Bills win 20-12.
  14. I think maybe 4 by the end of next week. If it got to 5 or even 6 look out.
  15. She's a knockout. Watch the girls on Bloomberg. They're great as well.
  16. I would think that would lower the dollar and have the euro rise, but today that is not the case, at least not so far.
  17. Remember what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
  18. And I'll say Buffalo, Jets, Carolina and Pittsburgh. I think Pittsburgh will want to play their best on sunday against the champs.
  19. Agreed with that statement. It is tough to establish the run with 8 or 9 in the box against any team. Once Losman connects with his passes teams will respect the pass more and Willis will be able to run for his yardage. Until that happens I see our offense really hurting.
  20. To say the least about (lurker, but I guess I am de-lurking now? ! But I am being honest about this.
  21. Lets not dwell on the past too much, especially that year.
  22. Randy Moss is the best wide reciever in the NFL, so no matter what team he plays for he's going to make them a better offensive club.
  23. Shes been here a long time, shes almost tenured, as are you and a few others. I know I've been coming to this website and posting since 1996.
  24. I agree with that. Eventually teams will look at the tape and run at Ron. Is he good against the pass? I'd say above average, but unless he can stop the run, teams are going to run right at him.
  25. I agree with you on #2, I think you've got to let him finish what he started. With number one, our OL wasn't run blocking effectively all game so maybe he wanted to try something else to loosen everyone up, even if it was at the other teams goal line.
