  1. Living in Chicago, I witnessed that he wasn't very good. In fact they were quick to replace him. But he has shown tremendous improvement and according to KGB- he has improved significantly. Hoepfully he'll be another player to prove the critics and doubters wrong. He's on the right track.
  2. I remain optimist as well, but the regular season is very soon and only time will tell if a star is born.
  3. Without a top pash rusher, I would say the top 5 is much more realistic.
  4. I like what Reed said about believing in himself. That's the key. He knows that he can do it. He has the experience. He knows he had a difficult year last year. But he's not giving up. I think he'll step up and become a good #3 receiver for our ballclub.
  5. The one that comes to mind is Ted Washington for me too, now that you mentioned it. He can still plug up the middle of the running lanes so the running back can't go very far. Bruce Smith was still good the last two years in Washington.
  6. From personal experience, I can tell you that if you aren't ready to quit, then you won't. I have been sober for 4 years and plan to be the rest of my life. Finding a mate could do wonders for you. In the meantime, everytime you think of smoking a dub, maybe exercise (Run, jog) or read about something that you're interested in.
  7. If you missed it there is also one on at 2pm (CT) on Wednesday the 17th.
  8. #28- "If you come to my place we can play hide and seek."
  9. I disagree. It was time for that organization to move in a different direction. They'll draft a wide reciver with the 7th pick. Hopefully for there sake, it will be Braylon Edwards.
  10. Best quote I've read this week. TD knows what he's doing. Do you remember what our team looked like in 2001-2002 when TD took over. It was ugly. And it was because we had no money to spend. We had to build, to get through the tough times. We'll, now that were on year 4, we've got some money to spend and still a young, potentially good team. I just hope that the Pat Williams move doesn't come back and bite us.
  11. It's beginning to look more and more that your are correct. But again, losing Pat Williams, who will replace him? Is Ron Edwards honestly ready?
  12. Sorry got to post it but your ignornace can't be overlooked. Everyone's entitled to their opinion. By the way, I'm not a "druggie" and I'm sure a lot of others aren't "druggies" either who listen to their music. They listen to it because it is good music. Why does it matter what music others listen too?
  13. I can tell you, living in Chicago, the Bears got sick of him on the offensive line during the season, that they replaced him (eventually with Marc Columbo I believe). Hopefully he'll bring a good game over here.
  14. The fact is that when he's healthy, he's one of the best CB in the league.
  15. Beautiful. I have DP's #1-22, and I love them from 1974 and on.
  16. Having Jonas go was just a matter of time last year. I remember some talking about him going to the Falcons. That was a stretch for us and not resigning him alright. But what about Pat Williams? I hope that one doesn't come back to bite us. I think he meant a lot to the defense. If we aren't going after these two who are we going after? Jason Ferguson?
  17. In with the new and out with the old. You never know what you're going to get. Hopefully this is a wakeup call for Mike Williams.
  18. In the end, everything happens for a reason. We can't necessarly see it, but in the end things will work out for the best. Remember all people have the ability to change, but some decide not too.
  19. Very simple the answer is no. The Buffalo Bills could do much better at the 3rd WR position.
  20. Living in Chicago I know first hand that they needed all the help they could get at wide receiver. In fact, they could use another player like him.
  21. It all starts with stopping the run. Keeping Williams for a reasonable price is acceptable but not for 5 million a year. It would be sad to see Pat leave, because like you said, it might be another Ted Washington situation.
  22. We'll see. I n the meantime, stay optimistic.
  23. Well, if Pat can lower his demands by about 2-2.5 million we might be able to stretch out a helping hand. All reports and signs are pointing to Jennings going to another team.
  24. Good. Time to get the deal done and time to move forward.
  25. Do you think that Oakland is a good fit for him?
