The reason it makes sense is because MM wants to win now and he thinks that Holcomb gives them the best chance. I really don't blame him at all. His job is on the line here. If Holcomb doesn't come through, he knows he's in trouble. But I give him credit for trying something else.
I was thinking Ace Ventura. By the way, he missed the kick in the movie and in the real game. I my heart goes out to Norwood everytime a close game comes on that decided by a last second field goal.
I don't know how you came up with the idea that Wade's team quit. Wade might have made some questionable coaching moves but to call Wade Phillips's team quiters is incorrect.
I'd say we have a good D, but very good...... not really. You're right, as long as team's find a way to keep their offensive on the field against our defense, were going to be in constant pressure situation.
That's on the mark, but who else can we replace him with? Our depth is a problem, but I guess while were playing our young QB, we might as well experiment with our OL rookies.
Bill right, this raps it all up in a nutshell. There nothing really more that needs to be said. Puting a brand new Rookie QB behind an inexpereinced line that is below average is a costly mistake.
Some how or another, I'm not sure TD can get the job done and that is incredibly disapointing. The overall record doesn't lie. We didn't replace Jennings or Pat Williams. Did we not want to spend the money? And what are we saving the money for? If we don't resign Clements, then what was the point of drafting all of these players?
I'm from Chicago and am a white sox fan. It would be nice to see the White Sox against the Angels in the ALCS. It's going to be tough for the sox to keep up with that offense of Boston.
You'd think when a team like ours was struggling on offense we'd stick to the same game plan we had on our first drive that was successful. Each time I saw the offense it seemed like third and long almost every third down.
It's frusturating that's for sure. Having big expectations can be disapointing when you don't reach them. I've been there(actually still am), as I'm sure others on this board have been too.
