  1. The only one that disapoints me is Sean Rodgers. I know there were injury concerns about him, but we had several oportunites to get him. Does anyone know if he was picked after Ron Edwards that year?
  2. I hope not, but what has happened in the last 4 years, you could be right. LT or DT seems to be our highest priority.
  3. I saw the game against Carolina, who's having a great season thus far. I thought Buffalo dominated them, but Carolina still found a way to win. It was good to see them come back from 3 goals down to make it interesting at the end.
  4. A few years back in 2000, we signed Ruben Brown to a very high contract as a left guard. I don't think it was nearly as high of a contract as Mike Williams is getting. I would say that to pay him that type of money to play left guard is way to pricey. If he takes a reasonable paycut, one that's good for him and the team, then he'll most likely stay.
  5. Outstanding post. I like what you mentioned about the RB's blocking. I don't think I caught that as much as the rest of our OL play.
  6. That's unfortunate. Preist has been one of the best backs in the league for the last couple of years. Hopefully he'll be alright.
  7. For the most part, Teague has been doing his job out there. Some of the other positions have been questionable. While I agree with your ending statement, I don't think it's the time just yet to put in Preston for him.
  8. We haven't given up on this season just yet. That's fine. After all we are only one game in back of New England and still have one game to go with them at Buffalo.
  9. I went to the game in KC in 2000 with Rob Johnson starting for the Bills. They won that game on a RJ touchdown dive. That was the last time we beat them. I hope we're ready this week and bring our A game.
  10. The question now is, who will take him when he becomes eligible?
  11. If that is true, there will be a lot of happy faces coming from this board. This would be an excellent move. Very interested to see if this actually pans out.
  12. I think the LT position is our biggest priority. But DT would be fine to if there's a player worth taking. Center would be a third option.
  13. Mr T. I don't think a push for Brees is the answer. After all why didn't we draft him when we had the chance? Instead we waited a few years and drafted Losman. That is our guy. We have to see how he is when he has a offensive line that can give him protection. The only time we have really seen that was in the first game against the Texans.
  14. That will be something if he plays this week. My attention will be on that game if he starts. I didn't see his comeback game against INDI that year that could have been his best game, but the game against the Broncos was painful to watch. I'm glad Marv went back to Alex Van Pelt that game and he gave us a good chance to win. Great clutch kick in that game from 55 yards by Steve Christie to send it into overtime.
  15. I think Denney has outperformed Kelsay for the most part and could be starting in there against Kansas City. As far as DT is concerned, Adams and Edwards are the two guys that we have. I'm not sure you can replace either of them with Bannan or Sape.
  16. Absoultely. We didn't lose becuase of the officials. We lost becuase we played poorly in crunch time. All teams get calls are going to get there share of calls during the season, but its the good teams that take advantage of them.
  17. I think the answer is yes. If we continue to struggle on defense the second half of the season someone will have to take the blame for it. One of the reasons is because this defense had high expectations coming into the season.
  18. The fact that so many people left the stadium and wanted to come back in. I remember reading a post by someone earlier this year about that.
  19. I think you will find some people that will be interested in a story like this.
  20. I like what you have there but I don't think Peters could play LT, I think he'd be better playing RT. One of these days I'd like to see Mike Williams switch over to LT. Hopefully we can get Bentley.
  21. I'll give you the Williams thing but you said they have the makings of a good offensive line. That's why I asked you who are you kidding. Gandy at guard? Maybe as a backup. And yes, I don't think Peters would be a good fit at LT. But if the group that you mentioned is our OL next year, I think we'd have an average line, not a good line.
  22. I agree 100%. I'm not sure why so many people are against Eric Moulds when clearly he's done a tremendous amount for this team and our best wide reciever.
  23. I wonder who's been calling the coin flips for our team
  24. Marcus Spriggs was alright that one season he came in and played RT tackle for us.
