  1. It's a private stadium?
  2. Agreed. Letting go of Pat was a mistake and most understand this. The question is, what are we going to do about it? If we continue to lose, maybe Gabe Watson of Michigan will be an option for us.
  3. Agreed. Looks good to me. If there was a way to keep Moulds, I'd do it. Also, if Mike Willaims restructures his deal so it will help sign a solid free agent, keep him around.
  4. You can make a case for Carson Palmer, but Peyton Manning is the best QB out there. Tom Brady is still the best under pressure and could also be in the mix.
  5. I guess I have to give you tremendous credit
  6. I can still see us finishing out the year strong. I still predicting that we win our last 3 games of the season. Also, I think a win against Miami next week will make several people happy on TBD.
  7. I think it's important to look to the future. If some how we can get Ferguson from Virginia that would be good. He's very good in pass blocking.
  8. The part that you mentioned about the 3 OL's and 2 DL's is true. I'd like to see us draft 2 OL in the draft next year, preferably in the first four rounds.
  9. I think you're incorrect. The Bears have come out and shown others what they are all about. Defense wins championships. Regardless of who they've played, they continue to come out and do their job and most importantly, win.
  10. You're kidding right?
  11. Great comeback for the rookie QB from Harvard.
  12. His accuracy I thought was his strength. A 53 yarder, as a rookie, with the game on the line is tremendous pressure for a guy who hasn't kicked a game winning field goal in the NFL. If he's kicking it 52.9 yards and down the middle almost regularly, I would take that anyday.
  13. Agreed. JP is looking better. His last throw of the day was horrible, but he's still learning and improving. I thought Tim Anderson played well today. Also Eric Moulds continues to have good games.
  14. Rex Grossman, their original starting quarterback who was supposed to start the season before he got hurt, is getting healthy and will most likely be ready to play in the next week or two. That is going to help them out as well.
  15. From what I saw from the first handful of posts, Gantrules was picking every game right except this weeks game against Carolina which is very impressive.
  16. Wow. It's usually the right thing to do let the person have the benefit of the doubt and try to listen their side of the story. That is fair. I just know a few months ago I was watching on NFL Countdown on Sunday and when the topic of drugs came up how some players could use drugs, Michael Irvin commented that he said his days with rarely using a drug here or there had ended years ago (I could be incorrect about a few years, but I'm not far off). I hope he's telling the truth in this present story that the pipe they found wasn't his. If he is, then this is all a misunderstanding and this whole story was taken out of context.
  17. Good report. The part that you mentioned about Eric Moulds is good for everyone to read. There is no reason in cutting him at the end of the season. He's still a productive wide out that has a couple of very good years left in his tank. If we want to look at our strengths, wide receiver might be a position that were in good shape with. Moulds, Evans, Parrish and eventually a healthy Everett is an effective group.
  18. I thought our Offensive line was pretty bad at times today. We were one play away from stopping them and giving the Bills a chance to win on a field goal. I was glad to see us come out competitive but overall another painful loss.
  19. I don't the answer to that but I do know that our play calling in crucial situations has been bad at times this season.
  20. The thing I don't understand is why the arbitrator wouldn't give TO his release from the Eagles so that he could play for someone else this season.
  21. A lot of his big yards came on one of the last plays of the game on a counter play that had Rueben Brown lead blocking.
  22. Marv Levy
  23. Don't make emotional bets. Choose a different game.
  24. I think the point is how we lost. I don't think many will argue the point that we lost to a good team because we did. But to lose 48-10 is painful and ridculous.
  25. Wow were did you come up those stats? I'd like to see the stats when we have 3rd and less than 2. I think those numbers aren't very good either.
