  1. If he doesn't get franchised look for the Bills to possibly take Jimmy Williams CB form Virgina Tech with our first pick.
  2. That's good balance but unrealistic. The are going to be positions where you're going to want to get better or stay the best. This will command top dollars. There are some positions where you have to let young players compete at an open position. They won't be commanding the couple of millions. A star quarterback in this league is averaging a lot more than 4 million dollars a year. If I could get a Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Carson Palmer quarterback on our team I would pay top dollar for them and rework the cap in a different way.
  3. Maybe we'll start out in Houston in 2006, like the Texans did in Buffalo in 2005.
  4. Why not continue to use him at a position that he's been succeeding at? I don't think it necessary to switch him back to TE. RT looks like a good position for the Bills as long as Jason Peters remains there.
  5. If any of those four players drop to us, I think we'll take them at #8. Obviously D. Ferguson would be the best for our team if he slides to us at #8.
  6. We were going to take Mike Williams or Bryant McKinee. That was what we needed at that time. I don't think that the other two plyers you mentioned were necessarily considered at #4 for the Bills, but I could be wrong.
  7. Agreed. It didn't look good whatsoever. If Pittsburgh can bring pressure on the Bengels in the second half, the Steelers will most likely win the game.
  8. It's possible that they thought that Rex Grossman tore his ACL on that exact field last year, so they didn't want a repeat of what happened.
  9. When did Bruce Smith have a bad year? I didn't think he ever did. I'd like to see Mike take a maximum paycut and try to play one more year with the Bills. With Marv leading the way, I would take the chance.
  10. Lovie Smith deserves it. He put together a great defense this year. Add in a healthy Rex Grossman for the playoffs, look out, they could win the NFC.
  11. I think you're wrong about Spikes. I think he's one of the guys that will come back even stronger next season. He a very hard and dedicated warrior.
  12. Mawae would be my choice. I proven veteran who plays well when he's healthy.
  13. The Levy signing is a joke? Who would you rather have as our GM? Optimism is what we needed. Ralph Wilson knew what he was doing hiring a smart, experienced guy like Marv.
  14. USC 36 Texas 28
  15. It's wonderful, optimism all over.
  16. Very disapointing if you're an Irish fan after that first offensive drive that was outstanding. Also how many plays of over 50 yards did Ohio State have tonight?
  17. If this is true, that would bring a lot of optimism to Buffalo. It would be great to have Marv Levy back on the sidelines.
  18. Yes he did. He was a pro-bowler after that for the next several seasons. I remember his rookie year when his block sprang A. Smith against Detroit.
  19. If it ended up like that, that would be sweet for us. There will be a lot of happy people here if he's drafted at #8.
  20. We'll see. I think it will be the most exciting game of the day. Alabama vs. Texas Tech got excting late, but I have a feeling that this game will be a fight to the finish. Final Score prediction- Ohio State 33 Notre Dame 30
  21. Kelly Holcomb
  22. I agree with you. I don't think there was a more reliable player on our offense than Eric Moulds. Whoever our new GM is, he'll have to make that tough decision. If it were up to me, I would definitely keep him.
  23. Oh my. Well, who's next as our General Manager?
