Only if we could trade down. We need a impact player at #8, Ferguson, Ngata or Williams. If we were to trade our #8 pick for sometime later in the first round and if Cutler was still there, I would strongly consider it.
You're right about AJ, I didn't realize that until now. But the tackle in the second round is debatable. Obviously, if Ferguson or Mario Williams somehow falls to us, I would take them both over Ngata.
It was incredible. I guess Kobe knows that when he takes his game to the next level. LaBron James, Tim Duncan, Dwyane Wade, Steve Nash, Ben Wallace, etc. are all players that are all-stars, but right now, is there a better player than Kobe?
I am from Chicago and he was a players coach from what I remember back in 2001. Yes they did win games at the very end but THEY WON them instead of blowing the leads. I watched the Bears that year a lot because it so painful to watch the Bills that year go 3-13. I would have liked to seen the Bills hire Sherman instead but as I'm getting used to it it might not be as bad as it's made out to be. This might be a good thing after all.
I understand, that was my first thought when I found out the true news, but I'm trying to put some positives on the situation. We have to live with it now. Hopefully it will turn out well.........
I'm not suggesting the Bills give up on JP, in fact just the opposite. The other side to this is that maybe the players know something that we don't. Sam is not the first guy to go on record to say that he wanted someone else to play QB for the Bills.
What he saying in the most polite way possible is that the veterans on this team weren't happy with Losman starting. Although Sam likes what they have done with management this offseason, appearently Sam still feels this way about the quarterback situation.
We have to trust Marv Levy's decision. I am not happy about it. But as true Bills fans know we need to be more prepared with disapointing news. It seems that we get a lot of it.
Why do we need to rush into one the most important decisions for this franchise? We need to find the right leader. If that takes another 2 weeks so be it.
I remember that season in Chicago. That defense was outstandning due to the fact that they had two amazing tackles that year to stop the run, Ted Washington and Keith Traylor. People could not run against them up the middle. And I mean no one. Brian Urlachar had an excellent season playing behind those two studs. However Green Bay did beat them twice that season. But the move that made Jauron was the quarterback switch from Shane Mathews to Jim Miller. That was a smart move. It turned their season around.
You're right about Washington. I thought he was one of the best NT ever to play against the run. The reason why I didn't put Washington in there was because at the time we were starting a brand new rebuilding process. I was upset too, but I didn't throw that in there.
