  1. I have no problem if he becomes the next QB coach, Jauron is very high on him as a coach and they are probably good friends, but we don't want him calling the plays. He wasn't a good play caller in Chicago.
  2. I wouldn't overpay for him. You can tell him that he will start right away at center for us and he'll get respectable money. But if it's about overpaying for him, I'd say forget it.
  3. Looks like an overhall. Don't agree with the release of Moulds, Milloy and Vincent.
  4. Not very good odds. We need to see the 250-1 or even the 1000-1's.
  5. I will take WR- Hank Baskett, New Mexico
  6. I wasn't planning that but I guess 2003 made the pick for me.
  7. That was who I was going to take with my pick, which is 4 picks after you. Good pick.
  8. Jauron and Shoop are good friends. If Shoop was the QB's coach I don't have a problem with that. He's not going to be our offensive coordinator, we already have one.
  9. Another strong point in the argument to keep Eric Moulds. These two guys are similar wide receivers. Great player making great plays last night.
  10. My guess would be an incomplete pass, unless there is an clear indication that he has possession of the ball crossing the goal line BEFORE he goes out of bounds with the second foot. Just a guess
  11. A few Bills players aren't the only ones glad to to see him go. He's most likely a good guy/person, but in Buffalo we need a leader/coach to find away to get back to where we were in the early 90's.
  12. That suprised me that they didn't take a look at that play. At least they could have looked at it. But Seattle clock management that drive was not up to their usual standards. I'm also suprised Mike H's offense didn't have a shotgun.
  13. Agreed 100%. He's a great player and thats the end of it. I doubt the Seahawks won't resign this guy. This guy is simply an outstanding guard. I think I would rather have Hutch then Bentley to tell you truth. One or the other would be an upgrade and a huge boost.
  14. Well if anything, my guess is that the officiating crew from last nights game will not be doing the super bowl next season.
  15. Seattle 30- Pittsburgh 13 If history has a way of repeating itself, Pittsburgh will lose. Pittsburgh was very fortunate to win the game against Indi. Destiny? That's what they said about our beloved Bills a few times. If Pitt does win, then maybe the Bills are an exception to the rule and once again it will hurt that much more like every other day.
  16. Agreed, Bodog is pretty reliable.
  17. They will get it right. I don't think they want another situation where there would be a strike. Hopefully Paul Tagliabue and his staff will make sure that there is a salary cap each and every year.
  18. That's right. I'd like to see him play when we have 2 DT's that are awesome. Ngata has a chance to be there at #8. I think we have to strongly consider that.
  19. For the most part that is true. For some inspiration while you're feeling good, turn it to the Bills vs. Oilers game. That will make you feel even better
  20. Simon- I agree with half of your aprroach. While I like what you've done with the draft and Nate Clements for the most part, I think getting new coaches here and keeping some true veterans on this team is better than some of the moves you've made. While the board might be split on Moulds, I am for him staying due to the fact that Lee Evans hasn't established himself as a #1 guy yet. With Moulds, at least that will take the pressure off of Evans a little bit in 2006. Second, Mike Williams is going to have to take the maximum paycut just to stay with us. If that happens, then put him in at RT and Chris Villarial can play RG. I agree with your Bentley signing, but if we don't get him then we need to consider Preston coming in there and starting at C. LT needs to be upgraded with the first or second pick in the draft. I guess Gandy would win by default then at LG, but I would rather have him as our primary backup tackle. The upper management and coaching needed to go and this was the appropriate time. While it was fine to have a year of rebuilding in 2001, 2002 brought more optimism. 2003 started well, but ended badly and we know what happened in 2004 with the 9-7 record. 2005 was almost like 2001, but we had more veterans on our team this past year. Bottom line was, TD and MM had an opportunity to turn it around and didn't get it done. When that happens in this business,as you know, you are going to get fired. Ralph made what I think was the appropriate decision.
  21. First we have to be keeping him at a reduced contract, that is if we decide to keep him. Then, we have to ask him if he wants to play that position, and I don't think that would work. They tried him out at LG last year for a game and that didn't work. Personally, if they want to give him another chance at a reduced pay at RT, I'm for it. When he was run blocking, I'm not sure that there was anyone better on our team.
  22. Wow, dropping 8 people into coverage and getting hurt? I agree it's not right at all, but apparently they had a plan and it worked.
  23. I don't think a guy of that calibre is going to want to backup Willis. Willis is our guy. Shaud Williams seems more of a third down back on passing downs. A backup would be nice, but not Jamal. I would wait till the draft or wait until the 1st of June.
  24. Two sides to every story. This is no exception. Eric has done a lot for this team and I think having him here will help.
