I think Ngata will still be the pick. There has been talk about Bunkley, but Ngata really makes the most sense. We need a big man in the middle of the line, plus the ability to open holes for the linebackers.
I think Ngata in the first and then OL in the second, one in the 3rd and maybe one in the 4th or 5th. I think the minimum is going to be 2 offensive lineman taken in the draft.
I think the only two positions that would be suprising for us in the first round would be a running back or a punter. I think the rest would not be that suprising, especially at quarterback.
I think people on TBD are going to be split on this. Whatver happens we need to support Marv with whatver he does. His record as a general manager is 0-0.
I wouldn't say it sucks but it could be better. I don't like the Ko Simpson pick too much. Winston Justice is as good pick at 15 but maybe a solid CB in late round one. I was thinking about the future if your draft pans out that we get 2 first round picks. I think there is a lot of depth there.
I doubt it will because Hutch is one of the best left guards in the league. Minnesota had the cap room and made a big offer for him. The Vikings are going to get an outstanding player.
Mike Gandy as our primary backup at the tackle postion would be better than leaving him there at starting LT. People have talked about moving him to LG, that might be an good option
