  1. I know the officiating today was not kind to us, but that call stood out the most. I would have liked to have seen where the block in the back was.
  2. I like the Denver game. That one could be an upset. I think taking Denver is a good pick.
  3. Pittsburgh did enough to win the game. Miami had that terrible defensive play that let Heath Miller go the distance with no safety help which didn't make a lot of sense to me other than the fact that it was week 1. Miami hung in there, but Pittsburgh showed everyone why they are the champions.
  4. 34-10 Patriots. I think we'll have a lot to learn from the game.
  5. I think Neufeld gets cut- Cieslak stays.
  6. I don't think that is out of the question. I think 5 wins is about right. I was thinking about 2 or 3. Good thing is we have a lot more going for us than in 2001. We have the players in place to be improved for next season for a possible playoff berth.
  7. I'm with you Inkman. I'm hoping that this doesn't turn out to be one of TD's quarterbacks full of potential but doesn't work out. Have to be optimistic. If he has time to throw, then we'll find out what he's all about.
  8. I agree but I remembering hearing the same thing last year on TBD. Of course we want the Bills to be good, but I think this is going to take time. This year could end up being very similar to 2001 season.
  9. Jim Kelly was a leader. Is JP? That hasn't happened yet. Most of people on this board are exactly right. He has not been getting the job done. This is his year. He knows he has to make the most of his performances. If he doesn't then he won't our quarterback of the future.
  10. I have no problem with Whitner being the type of player that Henry Jones #20 was for us. When Jones was healthy he was a good player.
  11. I thought Posey was traded for Jay Foreman, but I could be wrong. We are at a new era now in Buffalo. Marv is the new GM and right now he seems to be making good decisions.
  12. This is a good post. When I first started getting into football I was 9 years old back in 1991. The first game I actually sat down and watched was the Bills and Giants in the Superbowl. Maybe the first play I saw it was Bruce Smith getting a sack in the end zone for a safety. I thought that was pretty cool. He ended up being my favorite player until he retired. Anyway, I saw the game and the way the Bills lost I knew that they were my team. People still don't understand why I'm a big Bills fan instead of the Bears beause Chicago is my hometown, but I will always have my loyalties no matter what to the Buffalo Bills.
  13. You could be right on with your prediction, but I think that would be worse case scenerio. While I don't think that there is any doubt we will get blown out of some games this year, I was hoping for a 6-10 to 8-8 season. Anything better than 8-8 would be a great year. Realistically, I was thinking maybe 5-11 like last year.
  14. I like this list, I think that's right on. Maybe Kurt Schultz? He had a couple of good seasons with the Bills.
  15. I think what you wrote on #2 is right on. Because a lot of quarterbacks are right handed they have to have someone on the left side that can pass block effectively enough so that the quarterback doesn't have to look over his shoulder and worry about who's going to get him. Also, the LT is usually the position that has to block most of the top pass rushers on the opposing team.
  16. That was our best overall game of the season. We dominated that game.
  17. Good move by the Bills. We have a right tackle now for the next 5 years.
  18. Aaron Gibson. Look for him to come back and have a good year.
  19. Who did they have last? Hopefully JP can come out on fire this year.
  20. I saw the wide receiver clip on ESPN and was a little suprsied also. They said that we had a lot of slot receivers. I thought we would have been a little higher but until our recivers can prove otherwise that is where we are.
  21. In Chicago on October 8th.
  22. Do we have any dead cap space for next season?
  23. How about next year's first round pick for Orlando Pace.
  24. While I agree with you on your analysis, there is just one main problem with this. Overall, the Bills team doesn't match up well with the Patriots. The Patriots also have the major edge on the coaching department. Also, the quarterback position, which is the General on the field, is not one of our strengths while the Patriots have one of the best Generals in the league.
  25. I thought that when the Bills traded up in the first round I thought it would have been for Winston Justice or Nick Mangold. I don't know if Mangold is going to be the leader that Hull was but right now our center is Chris Fowler. Hopefully Fowler will have a good season.
