  1. That would be the best case scenerio.
  2. I agree that the 17th and a first rounder next year is fair, I don't think the Vikings are headed to a season of 4-12 or 5-11. That would be a big difference from last years 9-7 record and they still have all of there core players.
  3. If you are saying that Green Bay will draft Ngata, where will AJ Hawk go? If he's there I don't understand how we could pass on a player of that caliber. Another Chris Spielman on our team would be awesome.
  4. I'm with you on this. I think Ngata will be there when we pick it's just a matter of whether or not we want him. Hopefully it comes down to Ngata and Justice (I don't think the others D'Brick, AJ, or Mario will be there when we pick) and we take either one of them, preferably Ngata.
  5. 3a. Anthony Smith S Syracuse 3b. Charles Spencer G Pitt 3c. Maurive Stovall WR ND Any one of those guys could be drafted by the Bills.
  6. Overall, I still think your mock draft is the best I have seen. You are addressing the needs of this team.
  7. Where are the positives and overall comments?
  8. I was thinking in terms of the Moulds situation. If he doesn't want to be here and makes it known, I don't understand why a draft day trade is out of the question.
  9. I agree. I think if we didn't sign Larry Tripplett, I would consider Bunkley. Last season the one thing we didn't do well on defense was stopping the run. Teams adjusted when we put in extra guys to stop the run and passed on us. Eventually it wore down the defense. Ngata is an excellent run stuffer, and will be for many years. As long as Ferguson, Mario, AJ are there at number 8, I think this our guy to take.
  10. I'm pretty sure that is what the Bills coaches will end up doing. An open competition for the number two receiver slot is a good idea.
  11. Jesse Mahelona might end being a good player in the NFL. But with Ngata's strength stopping the run, hopefully he will be our first pick in round one.
  12. I think that is a good point. The case with Clements seems to be about money. If we don't that situation locked up in the next few weeks, it might be a wise thing to trade him for a second round pick. That way we could prepare without him and draft a CB in the first or second round.
  13. I think the first comment you posted could be very realistic. on the other hand, I don't think Denver will give up both 1st round picks.
  14. BillsGuyInMalta- As far as our needs go, I think you are right on the money with your mock draft. With all of the teams needs, I think we have to go with the OL on the first and second round picks. DL could be in the third, and then go to SS or CB. The rest of the picks after that could be for the best players available.
  15. All depends on the situation. If the quarterbacks are there and our pick that we want are gone, take the deal and get and extra pick in the second round. We can pick another offensive lineman with the 48th pick, maybe the guard from Georgia or Oklahoma.
  16. The 6 game winning streak is not really realistic. But I guess we can hope for that. If we have a 9 and 7 season that would exceed expectations. I think a realistic picture could be 6 and 10.
  17. 1) I hope that Takeo Spikes can come out and play the way he used to or even better if that's possible. 2) Hopefully we will draft Ngata with our 8th pick if Mario Willams, D'Brickashaw Ferguson and AJ Hawk are off the board. 3) We will take at least two offensive lineman in rounds 2 to 4. 4) Whoever our starting quarterback is, to make each game competitive.
  18. The first two games of the year are going to be very tough. It would be great to get a win against Miami. All in all I think the schedule this year looks difficult. I like the fact that we have a home game then a bye and then a home game in the middle of the season. Three weeks at home will be a good thing.
  19. No doubt about that
  20. You have a good point, unless the Bills organization thinks that Ngata could be the really good. I am hoping we go after him with our #8.
  21. Well, we are not going to be 3 million over the cap so we don't have to worry about that.
  22. I'm sorry to see our best wide reciever go as well, but he doesn't want to be here. In the end, it could end up being a good thing for both teams.
  23. Have to think of Chris Speilman. This guy is talented and would make an impact right away.
  24. Ngata first, then I would think about Michael Huff
