  1. I think the first two rounds as far as the Bills picks are going to be wrong. The Michael Huff pick would be a good pick, but unless we see Green Bay somehow taking Ngata with the number 5 pick, I think Ngata will be on our team. The second round pick seemed to be a little bit of a stretch. I think if Lutui or Gillies is there, I would take him over Whitworth. The third round picks are good.
  2. That would be a good draft but no offensive or defensive tackles taken in the first two rounds might be questionable.
  3. I think that's a good point. However, the number one rated tackle in the draft who's speciality is pass blocking, and it was head coach Sean Peyton who wanted Drew Brees. I think he'll want to protect his quarterback by drafting D'Brickashaw Ferguson.
  4. That would be the best case scenerio if we didn't trade with anyone.
  5. I don't think the two are the same type of players. We need a run stopper in the mold of Pat Williams, and I think Ngata is the guy.
  6. We know that Dallas would trade with us becuase of the whole JP Losman situation 2 years ago. I think a resonable trade would be our 8th for their first, second, fourth and a second next year.
  7. Sam Adams and Ngata are not the same type of player. Ngata is more like Pat Williams, who is very good against the run.
  8. I think if you replace Ngata with Bunkley I think this could be a very good draft.
  9. I thought that the trade that you had with Minnesota was the best one (trading #8 for 17 and 48 and another, maybe 51). If the draft plays out the way that it has been mentioned, it might be possible.
  10. That would be the best case scenerio.
  11. I agree that the 17th and a first rounder next year is fair, I don't think the Vikings are headed to a season of 4-12 or 5-11. That would be a big difference from last years 9-7 record and they still have all of there core players.
  12. If you are saying that Green Bay will draft Ngata, where will AJ Hawk go? If he's there I don't understand how we could pass on a player of that caliber. Another Chris Spielman on our team would be awesome.
  13. I'm with you on this. I think Ngata will be there when we pick it's just a matter of whether or not we want him. Hopefully it comes down to Ngata and Justice (I don't think the others D'Brick, AJ, or Mario will be there when we pick) and we take either one of them, preferably Ngata.
  14. 3a. Anthony Smith S Syracuse 3b. Charles Spencer G Pitt 3c. Maurive Stovall WR ND Any one of those guys could be drafted by the Bills.
  15. Overall, I still think your mock draft is the best I have seen. You are addressing the needs of this team.
  16. Where are the positives and overall comments?
  17. I was thinking in terms of the Moulds situation. If he doesn't want to be here and makes it known, I don't understand why a draft day trade is out of the question.
  18. I agree. I think if we didn't sign Larry Tripplett, I would consider Bunkley. Last season the one thing we didn't do well on defense was stopping the run. Teams adjusted when we put in extra guys to stop the run and passed on us. Eventually it wore down the defense. Ngata is an excellent run stuffer, and will be for many years. As long as Ferguson, Mario, AJ are there at number 8, I think this our guy to take.
  19. I'm pretty sure that is what the Bills coaches will end up doing. An open competition for the number two receiver slot is a good idea.
  20. Jesse Mahelona might end being a good player in the NFL. But with Ngata's strength stopping the run, hopefully he will be our first pick in round one.
  21. I think that is a good point. The case with Clements seems to be about money. If we don't that situation locked up in the next few weeks, it might be a wise thing to trade him for a second round pick. That way we could prepare without him and draft a CB in the first or second round.
  22. I think the first comment you posted could be very realistic. on the other hand, I don't think Denver will give up both 1st round picks.
  23. BillsGuyInMalta- As far as our needs go, I think you are right on the money with your mock draft. With all of the teams needs, I think we have to go with the OL on the first and second round picks. DL could be in the third, and then go to SS or CB. The rest of the picks after that could be for the best players available.
  24. All depends on the situation. If the quarterbacks are there and our pick that we want are gone, take the deal and get and extra pick in the second round. We can pick another offensive lineman with the 48th pick, maybe the guard from Georgia or Oklahoma.
