  1. I agree, it would be great if for some reason Ferguson could fall to us at #8.
  2. I thought he was coming around the corner last year. He had a 34 yard run against Oakland in the later part of the season and he looked like he had some of that strength back.
  3. Letting these two walk is correct. They need fresh starts somewhere else, especially Josh Reed. Trey Teague will find a job with just about anyone, but probably as a backup. These two were TD's picks, and Marv has his own plan.
  4. There are some good upgrades in your offseason, but the offensive line still looks suspect. If Bentley is not going to sign with the Bills, I think it would be a good move to go after the Nick Mangold from Ohio State in the second round.
  5. I'd like to see JP get an offensive line that will block for him up front. If that happens and he's not making the right decisions then I think we have something to worry about.
  6. I'm guessing he'll go to the highest bidder.
  7. Some have mentioned Reggie Wayne. I wouldn't mind him. Joe Jurevicius is a hard working wide receiver but his chances of staying in Seattle are probably better than him coming to play in Buffalo.
  8. Agreed. Throw in Torry Holt in there as well.
  9. That's the main point of this article.
  10. Are you going to give us draft grades with anaylsis?
  11. Agreed
  12. Somehow, I think Daunte will stay with the Vikings. If Brad Johnson gets hurt for any reason they are going to want Daunte just in case. Also there is a lot of upside with Daunte. He's still a young QB who has a lot of potential. If he is traded I would have thought it would have been to a team like Detroit where they play in a dome.
  13. Lots of reasons to feel good about whats happening. It starts when we franchise Clements. After that, hopefully we'll keep Moulds and then it's on the draft.
  14. I think he is a great player in the making as long as he stays healthy. But if Moulds can restructure his contract, I think we'll have two very good wide receivers. I think that if you put Evans as a #1 and Moulds as a #2, I think we have something here. But when it's all said and done we need to first have an offensive line that can pass block
  15. So you don't think Marv's first priority is upgrading the offensive line?
  16. With Marv at the GM position, the offensive line will be our first priority. He understands the weakness in this football team and it is good that he will be addressing this need right away.
  17. At the time, he was a new kicker. I know I was saying at the time that this guy wasn't that good, and I'm glad he's one of the guys that perservered and became a pro bowler. The positive that I remember about Shayne that season was that he made a 45 yarder against Jacksonville that season to get our first win of the 2001-2002 season.
  18. The Chicago Bears select - Daniel Bullocks S Nebraska
  19. Hopefully something can get done so we can keep our best wide receiver back with our club. Marv franchising Nate and restructuring Moulds contract is already two excellent moves by our new GM.
  20. I like Chad Greenway but I'm not sure where he would fit, unless the Bills decide to cut Jeff Posey. Michael Huff is an option that was talked about, but the trade down scenerio seems to be the most logical for the Bills if we don't get one of the 3 guys we want.
  21. I think this is excellent but is Mike Huff really a need? I understand he's a heck of a player, but getting Ngata would help especially if we are looking to groom him for the next season to replace Ted Washington. If we go your way with Watson in the third, (and that's a big if that he'll be there) then this offseason looks good.
  22. If for some reason Mario Williams falls to us, I don't think there's any doubt we would take him, but thats not logical thinking. I think first things first, we need to stop the run, so Ngata's the pick, unless we trade down.
  23. I like this draft, looks good.
  24. That's right, no need to trade up, we will get an impact player, most likely Ngata, but we do have the option of trading down for more picks. If for some reason Ferguson doesn't get picked by the Jets, San Francisco would likely pick him at #7.
