  1. The Bills go 3 and 13 as they hit rock bottom. I think they will not get their first win until week 7 or 8, whatever game is at home.
  2. I think he will make the team as our backup Right Tackle.
  3. The one that stands out to me is Brad Hopkins. That would be the one that would be the most intriguing if we signed one of those players.
  4. I Agree. Nall might be in the competition for top reserve, but for Nall to be starting at the beginning of the season? That seems like a long shot. Another long shot is Andre Davis as our #2 wide receiver heading into the start of the season. Maybe he will be our #3 wide reciever.
  5. The decision to put in Rob Johnson over Doug Flutie in the AFC wildcard Playoffs that year was a horrible decision, and unfortunatley was the start of this downword spiral we are in right now. I have high hopes we can turn things around in the right direction starting with our defense this year. If we would have lost, at least we would have been LOYAL to our quarterback who started 15 games of that season (1999-2000). It is still controversial, but the decision was NOT a good one.
  6. This was the one area we needed to get better at and did we? I really don't think so. However, if the line plays a little better than last year, I think we will be able to hold our own and the offensive line will be competitive.
  7. I think you can but when you go up against talent that is better than you, your team has to get it together and bring it. The one time where I can remember a team that was not as talented as some of the other baseball teams, but had a lot of good characters were the 2003 Florida Marlins.
  8. I think it will get better than it has been over the past few years. I thought an even bigger problem last year was when we had a third and short and couldn't pick up the first down. If these two problems are taken care off, we will be more competitive than last year.
  9. I think it looks realistic, but if we pick up an offensive lineman after June 1st I could see one or two guys more getting cut from the offensive line. Also, will Jim Leonhard get cut or can he stay as a backup?
  10. I still think that Aaron Gibson will make the team and be our primary backup at the offensive tackle position.
  11. I like that Cieslak is getting a look at the #2 tight end. I think we are going to be pleased with this guy as our backup tight end.
  12. It's JP's job to lose. Hopefully he will come out and play well every week.
  13. We don't know until they suit up and play. It could turn out to be a good draft. However, I agree with the offensive line. I'm not sure why we waited until the fifth round to draft an offensive lineman.
  14. I think it's JP's job to lose. He has had a year of experience so now is the time for him to continue to move forward and put together a string of good games.
  15. I saw it as well. Mike Wilbon really stood up for Marv Levy. He understands how the draft works.
  16. I agree. All of the grades are in the same range (B's to C's). However, maybe he's not even sure which I think is the right approach to take.
  17. Until we see them play, the grade is incomplete.
  18. Matt Bernstein could be another Jim Leonard type of player that we got last year out of the University of Wisconsin. That would be the one guy that could help our football team.
  19. I think you're going to be incorrect about Aaron Gibson. I think he'll be ok and will make the team and will provide some depth. But yes, fro the most part this line is the same as it was last year. At least we have guys that will provide competition.
  20. I think the defense will be improved, but can we stop the run? I sure hope we can.
  21. I think the Donte Whitner pick was good, maybe a reach at that time but this draft will depend a lot on how McCargo will develop and play as a DT. We moved up into the first round to get him so its a matter of time until we know how good or bad this draft could be. I think it will turn out to be pretty good.
  22. The only thing that I have a hard time understanding is the offensive line situation. Will we address this during the draft in any of our rounds? Hopefully a gem at LT will be there for us at the start of round 5.
  23. These comments aren't accurate. When I first heard the pick I was upset, however, I have faith in the Bills and the organization. Marv Levy knows what he's doing.
  24. In 2001 he was outstanding for the Bears. But his injuries the following year took its tole. If he's healthy, it could be a good pickup if our offensive line improves.
