  1. I think at this point I would seriously think about trading down to get more picks if someone wants to trade up to get Harvey. Their first rounder and a second rounder preferably, or their first rounder and a third and a fifth would be alright.
  2. While I think this is a good draft, I think Malcolm Kelly will be taken before the 41st pick and Martin Rucker will be taken before the 132st pick.
  3. While it looks as if he could be a really good player, I think we could use this to address our other needs, like WR,CB and TE. If we feel that he is the best player available and is going to be an excellent player at right guard, then draft him because he's probably going to be a good player. However, I am for taking a WR, CB or trading down for more picks.
  4. Bruce was an amazing player for the Bills. I think it's interesting him talking about the 3-4 defense. I remember when we got Ted Washington that helped the defense against the run and created opening for some of the other guys. When Bruce was getting double teamed in 1995, Bryce Paup would come around the corner. Bruce I think had 10.5 sacks that season and Paup had 17.
  5. It would be nice if we could trade down a few spots, pick up an extra pick in the third or fourth round maybe and still be able to take Malcolm Kelly.
  6. It takes the pressure off of management to take a safety earlier in the draft. I think this was a good decision to resign Scott.
  7. Well, I guess that was on your mind. I still feel that was the worst loss in Buffalo Bills history. It was truly the end of that era with the beloved players that we still had from our super bowl teams. It was incredibly sad and for years I've had bad feelings about that game. We'll never know if Doug Flutie would have started that game what would have happened. But the way the entire thing went down during that week and throughout the game until the final play with special teams was painful.
  8. It really depends on the draft. If we take an offensive player as our first pick other than Peterson if for some reason he is there, then our defense will look worse than last year. The 0-8 is not out of the question if we don't address our linebacker, cornerback and defensive tackle situation. I think 3-5 or 4-4 seems more likely.
  9. I think you could be right, unless we picked Paul P from Penn State.
  10. I agree with that. That was one of the worst feelings after the Tennessee playoff game that I can remember and then our off season just added to it.
  11. After taking that huge hit to the helmet, I think he came back to early last year from that injury. IF he's healthy, this is a good trade for Miami. What that does to Miami's pick in the draft is debatable. I still think that Levi Brown could be their guy that they want.
  12. They played well last year and last year they were the team under the radar. I'm not sure who that team will be this year that comes out of no where and plays good football. I would say the Bills this year, but with the way things have gone over the past 6 years and our losses in free agency on defense, I don't think we will be the Saints of last year. This year I think the Patriots get back to the Super Bowl and win it against the Seahawks.
  13. When it comes down to it, I think this position needs to be upgraded and Willis is that guy. If Okoye and Peterson are off the board, I think Willis is the guy that you go after.
  14. They will definitely be the favorites in winning their division but as far as winning the AFC? I think you still have to put Indianpolis and New England ahead of them.
  15. After a handful of years not making the playoffs might have something to do with this.
  16. I think a fullback in the mid round will help. It is possible that after June 1st we'll go after someone to get some depth.
  17. 2003- When are you setting up the Mock draft on TBD of 2007?
  18. I paid attention to the first 11 picks before Buffalo picks and if it works out this way, which it could, I think we would go with top cornerback first or trade down. I would not like to see the draft turn out like this but it is a possibility. I think a lot of what happens depends on what Washington decides to do. If they go with Jaamal Anderson or Alan Branch, I think the chance of getting Okoye or Willis is more likely, that is if we go for one of the two of them.
  19. No question about it. I think he could be compared to Will Wolford during his career.
  20. I like our pick and think it would be nice if it worked out that way.
  21. Ian Scott could be a good pickup if we don't go for a defensive tackle in the first three rounds of the draft and focus on linebacker and cornerback instead.
  22. Other than not resigning Clements, I agree with that. Peterson droping to 12 would be the only running back that would be worth the number 12 pick otherwise its about the defense in round one, hopefully.
  23. While a running back would be nice in round two, three, or four, I would go with almost all defensive players, especially in rounds one and two. Unless there is a guy that is a can't miss guy that the Bills like, I would select a middle linebacker or defensive tackle. I think if Okoye falls to us, we have to seriously think about taking him. The potential as a star for years with Okoye is very high.
  24. Let them think whatever they want. They could be right, however if we make it to the playoffs this year then I'm sure the Bills will be getting a lot of positives from those same reporters.
