According to the article, they were retired and had a boatload of bibles that they distributed freely to people and towns they landed in. I guess they deserved it.

There was a stock transaction that had money withheld when the grant went through, then when I sold the stock, the 1099 did not show any tax had been taken out. It appears as though the final transaction (sale of stock) is income since it is reported on a 1099, however the holding (the initial stock grant) occurred in 2009 and taxes were paid in that instance, now the 1099 for 2010 looks like it is a whole new asset that was liquidated.

That is insane, why "capture" the pirates, provide them the same treatment that they offered the captives. What a waste of resource to care for, house, cloth, medical, transport legal fees etc. for a bunch of reprobates who clearly have no purpose in this society. That ship would have been sunk if we had any sense.

I absolutely hate this time of the year, I have a guy that does my taxes, but I am always nervous that I am leaving something out. Certain 1099 forms don't add up or match to what the W2 states and I am in a panic this time. I hate this feeling

I will take Pinto Kenny anyday over Fireman Ed. Kenny does home and away games, he just doesnt have cameras in his face the whole time. People I know who worked with Ed when he was on the job as a fireman say he was a douche before he became "fireman Ed" his schtick is getting a little old, but what the heck, they need to teach these fans how to spell, and Ed serves that purpose.....

Would there be any value trying to project next years worst team? Try to trade our second rounder this year to the team most likely to cave in next year (cleveland/Cincinnatti)for their 1st next year? In this way we could possibly secure the Luck pick when he comes out. It's a crapshoot, but look at the *Pats, they have been stockpiling in this fashion to secure 2 in the first 3 round this year.
