  1. I mean if the tank is in you have to figure we're looking ahead to the 2018 draft class. If that's the case, why keep Tyrod at all? If it is not in, who gets drafted at 10 and wouldn't be expected to start immediately and if he doesn't, would you really want that rookie learning about being a QB from someone who doesn't really have a prototypical game?
  2. You can call the Bills a dumpster fire. You may hate that Terry has zero public speaking skills. But the fact of the matter is that as of today there are now fans in THREE NFL cities who no longer have a team. Regardless of how the Chargers, Rams and Raiders' last cities treated the team or ownership, I think we can all relate as fans to the sinking feeling of hoping the team you root for will stay in town because they are your team. Obviously this thread will soon be inundated with "that's the kind of thinking that leads to playoff droughts" and calling me a koolaid drinker, but I don't think it's out of line to be grateful to know that my kids will get to be BUFFALO Bills fans. That's all, I don't have a point beyond that.
  3. That's not it. But the owners can't vote on something that hasn't been presented as a proposal.
  4. This interview is intriguing because I feel like a lot of people were clamoring for "no more retreads" at OC, but I doubt anyone was thinking we would hire a guy with less than 5 years experience as a coach. I'm all for giving people a chance, but this would be a VERY risky move. That said, he does have OC experience. According to wikipedia, on April 26, 2011 he was named offensive coordinator at nearby Riverview High School. So that's something!
  5. Yes, sometimes we ran out of shotgun, he was revolutionary.
  6. Wow, we must be starved for news, because this is both super old and nothing but speculation. This is a man that whose stated 2nd of 2 requirements for winning is "winning". I doubt parsing his words will yield very much of value.
  7. They have 24 UFA. That means they have a ton of roster spots to fill with that 31. It's not as much space as you think
  8. I'm disappointed none of you old-school guys even brought up Kelly Packard
  9. Tapatio is a reasonable alternative. Chiltepe peppers are my favorite muddle the peppers and add cilantro, onion and lemon - best flavor ever
  10. It's warranted. The local media (not you JW) constantly whine about lack of access and then, in what can only be described as throwing childish tantrums, generate fake drama based to try and goad the front office into being more responsible. It's pathetic. The story involves nothing but pandering to the press, feeding them steak sandwiches and using them and their vast infinite knowledge of sports as sounding boards for ownership's decisions. How come guys like Tim Graham, who actually have talent, have the ability to write well thought out and researched articles like his piece on Talley last year, but prefer to spend 90% of their day trying to one-up themselves with pithy comebacks on twitter while feuding with fans? Good reporters get access to the people they write about, not because they are company men and parrot opinions the front office want disseminated, but because they adhere to the core principles of journalism and don't turn any little comment into a Page Six gossip story. If you don't think the outrage is warranted. I suggest you consider public response if the team posted a fan fic titled "what if the local media were appropriate" and outlined a press conference where everyone adoringly eats up all of Doug's non-answers and then report only on the facts without reading into things or baseless speculation. This board would implode and I think TBN would be swallowed whole by the ground from the collective outrage.
  11. Horrible moves in the initial post. However I love the title. If I were a GM, with the structure of the FO:
  12. McDermott said player evaluation would happen once the coaching staff in place. Once we actually have an OC we will have a much better idea of what this roster will look like next year.
  13. Although I enjoy the inevitable devolution of every thread turning into a debate on quarterbacks or complaints that the front office does not know what they are doing, All I really want is some information on the OC hire! help us Obi-Wan Kenobis you are our only hope!
  14. This sounds like the beginning of another Schop fan fic
  15. Not realistic, at no point in time during this fantasy does the media decide to act like entitled pricks.
  16. We need to draft a strong safety, at least one cornerback and a linebacker. We can save a lot money by cutting tyrod, not re-signing Gilmore and letting woods walk. I would like to see us sign Klein and a safety. We need to get decent rt and a solid second receiving option be that a tight end or wide receiver. Even then this is a seven win team at best.May as well trade Dareus if we are going Full Rebuild
  17. I suppose I prefer this to his second article involving him and terry and a bear skin rug
  18. Don't you know you never go full rebuild
  19. I mean when is the last time we've even won a single game under this coach?
  20. Man we had some terrible terrible players in 2009
  21. Also why haven't we signed Tom Brady yet? this is ridiculous
  22. That "article" may be the single dumbest thing I've ever read, and I've read twilight
  23. I don't know he doesn't have any experience as an offense of coordinator
