  1. Well this would be nice and would iron out my fears, however Wawrow said it had been a tough month for Wales, so now I'm still confused
  2. I would probably be underwhelmed by Norv Turner, hope we keep Lynn or get McCoy. I'd also REALLY like to understand Wawrow's tweets about Whaley
  3. Yeah I didn't understand this series of tweets.
  4. So Norv Turner now? He said he wants to work with a young QB so that would be indicative of us drafting one early
  5. So if McCoy goes to Denver and Lynn gets hired as HC by the Chargers who are we looking at for OC?
  6. I don't care what it does to the cap. I would be pissed if they let him walk out the door for nothing. I'd rather keep and trade him and get a 2nd rd pick out of him
  7. Why the laugh? You'd think a Bills fan would want good things to happen to this team. This just confirms you'd rather revel in failure and point fingers than have things go well for us.
  8. This is a bay area guy more concerned with explaining the move to drop the Raiders OC to keep Downing than the veracity of his report on McCoy Yeah, not surprised you choose old romantic comedies to quote, somehow that fits
  9. I'm waiting for this board to implode if we don't get McCoy as OC now.
  10. Here's the problem I have with this mid-round approach and I admit it's not necessarily fair to Tyrod: people on this board have been saying this same thing for years with Fitz, Losman, Trent Edwards, Bledsoe. Look no further than that basket of deplorables if you really want to know why our post-season drought is almost old enough to vote. I agree with keeping a seasoned veteran as a backup, but I'd like a 1st rd QB this year or next year. But yes we need a vet in here cause I never want to go through another season with the likes of Thad Lewis and Jeff TUEL starting games
  11. Please list 5 things that you do see the appeal in. These do not need to be related to football. I just can't imagine you ever being happy
  12. Well they did lose more than just Norman fyi. I don't really hate Gilmore like a lot of people here do and I think he is a decent corner, my personal opinion is that we could get similar production in this system from a cheaper FA and leave ourselves some cap room.
  13. Again, looks like all the NNN stopped watching games last season and just looks at stat lines now. Our offense scored often against bad teams and then fell apart at almost every opportunity when games were actually on the line. This is pretty much completely on the QB. Keeping TT does us no great favors, we would still be returning the same O-line and RBs
  14. I dunno. I think it will all depend on the price tag. If he really requires top 5 money he's probably gone. You don't need elite talent in a zone coverage scheme and Gilmore is admittedly more of a bump and run one on one matchup kind of guy.
  15. Unless you have a picture of him literally writing on the wall to add to your statement, the original post and the title have nothing to do with one another
  16. It is. You cannot be one dimensional. You have to have the ability to come back from behind or else you better have a lockdown defense and a huge lead in the fourth every game
  17. Because it doesn't matter if you can rush your way to 50 pts if your team can't march down the field in a 2-minute drill and win a game in the fourth quarter, that's why. Do you actually watch the games or just read the stat line after? Lynn would not be the OC, so how would that represent continuity on offense? I feel sad when people have to call themselves smart, it's like you gave yourself a gold star and are walking around waiting for people to ask what it's for. Oh and seriously, Screw PFT. I am sick and tired of their pissy little articles. I swear Florio actually thinks he's super witty.
  18. Hadn't seen this posted here. Interesting for people who care about Woods and Gilmore
  19. Both of them should be bounced immediately
  20. This thread makes me sad
  21. If Lynn were the frontrunner they would have offered him the job already
  22. Agreed. It would be foolhardy to expect him to criticize the Bills, but whomever runs that show makes several terrible assumptions: 1- that the listeners agree with Murphy 2- that the show needs listener opinion. Murphy spent an hour talking about how awesome the "new blood" coaching search is and how it's so imperative that we have a coach who can relate to the players. Ironically, Murph does not relate or understand his listeners because they open up the lines to callers and then one after another they all express confidence that the coaching search is unimpressive, so he lectures them. I don't understand if OBD is truly so insulated from the fans that they are confused by this, or if they are SO used to constantly selling us a bill of goods that they just never turn off the spin.
  23. Looks like we're signing Opie as the new HC then.
