    If a young Dorian Williams cannot win an open competition against an aged Milano, then we have a problem.

    Dorian Williams needs to play more, period. Matt Milano's best years are behind him. I love the guy, and he's always given his all. We just need to move forward, and I think Williams is the better choice at linebacker than Milano is.

    Does that mean Tampa Bay will wear their creamsicle uniforms against us? Interesting that they chose two NFC teams to wear throwbacks against. Will the Bills wear the blue jerseys with their throwbacks? They haven't done that in a long time. They have to do more than the all-white look.

    I remember reading an article several years ago about D1 college coaches attending football camps in Europe to scout players. Reading the article made me realize what a good idea this is, and that this could be the future of football. Having European/foreign born players play college football in the USA isn't a new thing, but having a QB make it is making more progress.

    I've gotten to Hammer's Lot at 6 in the morning, and that is the ideal time to get there. I have never been there for a late afternoon game, so I am not sure if the lot opens that early.

    I've had the opportunity to meet Josh Allen's parents a couple of times, and his mom is very delightful. What a great story. Thank you for sharing.

    Fall is #1 with me. Cooler temperatures, brisk days. Football, Halloween, Thanksgiving, anticipation of Christmas. The best treats being baked at home.

    Not the best combo, but I've seen worse. They are also bringing back the all navy blue uniforms with the white lightning bolt, which I never cared for. They should have brought back the electric blue look from the Air Coryell/Dan Fouts era. Those uniforms were cool.

    Yet the defense somehow found a way to step up on 3rd and sometimes 4th and inches, on multiple occasions. Our defense was strange.

None of you were perfect men, yet your vision for a country to live with the freedom you sought is undeniable and has become one of the greatest achievements in the world.
