  1. From Astro's reports it sounded like Shorts was splitting time with the 2's & 3's.
  2. Offense: Jason Croom Defense: Jerel Worthy or Leonard Johnson
  3. Are you still thinking about going to the Chargers game?
  4. But don't the owners want 2 extra regular season games in lieu of getting rid of 2 preseason games? The owners are not going to let go of lost revenue that they make by ripping off the fans of high priced tickets for meaningless games.
  5. I would think that teams can cut players accordingly throughout the preseason. It would seem odd for all the teams to cut nearly half their roster all at once.
  6. I'm rooting for Holmes to make the team and be an effective WR for us. I'm not against Streater or any of the other WR's making a case for themselves either. I know Holmes' camp has been underwhelming, but it sounds like he has rebounded. Let's see how he does during the preseason games. As for Ducasse, I'm not that thrilled with him. He is a veteran player, and probably a good back-up, but if Jordan Mudge can show that he should be on the roster, then go for it. Having younger players on the O-Line is a good thing for us.
  7. As always, a splendid job this year Astro. Enjoy the rest of the summer with your family. I look forward to seeing you back here with your 2018 NFL Draft notes. Break down those QB's. Best wishes.
  8. She just got cast as Squirrel Girl. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/marvels-new-warriors-squirrel-girl-cast-milana-vayntrub-derek-theler-topline-freeform-comedy-1019588
  9. I could see 3 of these players being cut, but I don't know about 4. Vlad Ducasse. With Groy being our top back-up G, and if Jordan Mudge steps up throughout the preseason. Ducasse could easily be cut. Ryan Davis. Eddie Yarbrough appears to be Davis' main competition. Possibly Max Valles as well. DE depth is thin, and Davis being a veteran helps him, but he's not a lock. Andre Homes. WR is crowded, and Holmes has been underwhelming in practice. However, his Special Teams play could be the deciding factor for him. I think he will get every chance to make the team. Having Holmes as a 4th option, is not a bad thing. Steven Hauschka. Reports(from Astro) are he is having a good camp. Competition for K is non-existent. He stays. Patrick DiMarco. Do the Bills keep 2 FB's or 4 TE's? Mike Tolbert could end up being the starter, but DiMarco is younger and has good experience. I think DiMarco stays. Jordan Poyer. Poyer is unspectacular, but there isn't much else at the S position. Unless Baccari Rambo has really stepped his game up and proves he can start, Poyer is going nowhere. Micah Hyde. Please.
  10. Great news! Solidifies our WR corps, and takes a little pressure of Zay Jones to be a big contributor from the get-go. Can't wait to see Boldin in action. GO BILLS!!!
  11. That sucks for you and the other fans, Astro. Thanks for your report.
  12. Wow! I think Steve Young earned his Hall of Fame enshrinement. I don't think he should have been a first time ballot inductee, but I have no issues with him being in.
  13. Yes, Ellington is a return guy. That's probably why they wanted him.
  14. As I had written, I'm more on the fence with Kennedy. He was a great player, I'm just iffy on him being in the Hall. John Randle played longer than he should have and his play diminished greatly over the last 4-5 years of his career. Not worthy of the Hall. Warren Sapp was a terror in Tampa Bay, then he went to Oakland and did nothing. He does not deserve to be in the Hall.
