  1. Acoustic: 1991 Guild D-25M Electric: 1973(?) Hondo Destroyer Love my guitars. I don't play 'em enough.
  2. Do not kid yourself. Shane Matthews didn't have a team for a reason. You may be able to nurse half a game or heaven forbid a full game out of him, but beyond that you're basically admitting you're quiting the season.
  3. Well they SHOULD stand behind their teammates/players. Until they make a move to replace them. Period. If you're always whining or pointing fingers you aren't adding to a team, you're distracting from it. It takes a TEAM effort to win in this game and that means you circle the wagons and stand by your teammates for all that you've got until you have no choice otherwise. Even if you've got a weak player, but there are no better alternatives, you support that weak player because not supporting them (likely) means that you've given up on the season.
  4. I thought "Mystique and Aura" were exotic dancers....
  5. Thank god for the drugs. A wonderful combination of two things that I can't remember. Just like the rest of the procedure. I remember the attractive nurse, and being happy for the drugs. Oh, and like everyone else has said, the whole day or so before is a pain. I had to drink tons of some sort of clensing shake type stuff. lots of long purges on the old porcelin throne. Not something I'd repeat for fun. But ya got to do what ya got to do.
  6. Very pretty. Spooky. Other than that, pretty standard shootemup. But, very, very pretty.
  7. Well, recognize that the Charger fans are treated with an extra helping of bad manners. I've noticed a pretty strong loathing factor between the two sets of fans.
  8. I've read many of his books, but not the ones listed. He's been doing a lot of different genres. I'm pretty much into sf/fantasy, so I've not followed his forays into different areas. Loved 'Carrion Comfort' (horror), Hyperion/Fall of Hyperion/Endimium/Rise of Endimum' (SciFi). So if you enjoyed reading some of his books, I strongly recommend the above mentioned ones. If you're interested I can give you reviews on other books of his that I've read.
  9. Trust me. Given the choice she'd NOT do the 5 mos. It isn't hard labor, but considering what she did to get it, it's plenty punishment.
  10. Voom has it. It's one of my regular channels that I watch. It probably more than any other single channel except maybe espn HD.
  11. I'll get the tar heated up. Somebody get them feathers. All lynch mob mentality aside, I have little faith in Lindell. I still think that he's the weakest, least reliable part of our team. It showed today.
  12. It's funny, I read the poll and said: "where's the 49ers?" Seems that it's a common refrain. I think they'll give San Diego a good run for the money for last place. I think Marty in his 2nd year will significantly improve the w/l for SD. They're still not any good, but they'll be better than the 49ers.
  13. I guess if he did get gobbled up, he IS on our practice squad! ...In a matter of speaking.
  14. I remember a LOT of calls for us to pick this guy up as an instant starter: per espn: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/trainingCamp...ory?page=titans Biggest disappointment: TE Ben Troupe is listed as fourth on the team's official depth chart, but he might as well be listed last. He's being outplayed by Dwayne Blakely, who spent part of last year on the practice squad, which could cause an interesting roster decision. Troupe says he doesn't think he's in the coaches' doghouse, but he doesn't appear to understand his status on the team right now. There's a chance he might not dress for the first handful of games.
  15. no, the one began with a 'c' and was filled VERY quickly. PTR looks like he's in it
  16. Too bad we can't bank some of those runs for the next two games.
  17. Yanks losing 12-0? Woot! Go Tribe! Good way to get over that slump! Next up: sweep the yahnks.
  18. hmmm.. pp Rosened when I tried to enter the tourney room. We'll see how future attempts go...
  19. Don't care about college football... but BASKETBALL, now that's another story. I also agree, it just makes me happier that I have my siruis radio.
  20. link: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1870296 "Milloy broke his right forearm when he jarred the ball loose from Colts receiver Brandon Stokley in the third quarter. He is scheduled for surgery Sunday.... Bills officials did not say how much time Milloy would miss. He has started all but six games in a nine-year career that started with New England. Milloy said he hoped to return for the season-opener against Jacksonville." Not good. We don't have the whole story yet. We'll find out after the surgury what they think...
