I believe Beasley will be on the field producing in the first round. I believe Smoke is going to be smoking CBs in the first round. Davis now has a full regular season under his belt and out-preformed expectations. He is a future #1 or #2 WR for Buffalo. Insurance is important, especially in the COVID postseason. But who do you sacrifice to plus up what is already one of the league's very top WR corps?

I'll apologize in advance in case this was discussed somewhere in the previous 20 pages. Whose roster spot would Stills take, presuming Cole and Smoke are both good to go in seven days? It would seem he'd get Gabriel Davis' playing time, but we cannot try to sneak him through waivers or expose him on the practice squad. Maybe if Gillim is destined for IR? But even then does Stills have a place on the gameday active list? The roster is pretty packed at this point.

Gameday Thread PreGame Week 8 Bills vs Patriots
scribo replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Come on Bills Mafia! Don't let the weather cause this to be a lightly attended game. Seriously, can you imagine the atmosphere that "would be" in the parking lot right now? -
With today's weather, especially the strong winds, and the Pats* run D being NE's weak spot, I expect Lee Smith to suit up and dominate. Breakout day coming for Singeltary AND Moss!

I sense we haven't been "all-in" on our gameday roster yet this entire season, sitting those who needed a little more rest but could go if needed. Seemed like often this was, in part, looking to have key players healthy for upcoming games. Today, I feel like the roster is all-in. Bills by a billion today!!!

Trevor Lawrence Advised to Avoid Jets

Would love to see Trevor Lawrence pull a move on the Jests like Eli Manning did to the Chargers. -
The Fans in the stands, or lack thereof. Stats

That was the lowest attendance the Bills have ever had for a home primetime game. We need to do better. -

I do not like it. From what we know as of right now, I don't see how this move makes the Bills a better team. -
Trent Murphy and Harrison Phillips benched for Chiefs game
scribo replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All I know is that Mahomes can be beat if we can get to him. We need agile pass rushers who won't be made to look foolish when he gets outside the pocket. We all know we have great coaches. Great coach put the right players in the right places at the right time. I trust this decision and expect to see it pay off tonight. I just wish it hadn't been leaked. Go Bills! -

Did Kim Jones of NFLN question our DL's manhood?

Most teams have wised up and stopped giving opponents bulletin board material. Frasier needs to use this one. -
I don't mind that Coach McD makes everyone guess what is happening with player injuries. But that leaves me wondering if the Bills, as seemingly has becoming their MO, were being conservative with the banged up by sitting so many against the Titans, ensuring they'd be closer to the top of their game to face off with the Chiefs. It is a long season in which nearly no one goes undefeated. So I am very hopeful we're going to have a great showing Monday night. Go Bills!

This season, I've found myself wishing our coaching staff would do more copycatting. Seem we are committed to doing what we do regardless of who we are playing. It worked out for the best in all but one game, so I openly admit (of course) that I know an immensely lot less than the coaches. My examples include be running #17 more against that Raiders. Running more against the Raiders. Running more against the Rams. Running more against the Titans. I know this thread is about defending our passing attack with and without John Brown. I don't think any defense can stop our passing attack when our top three receivers and #17 are healthy and on the field.

Pretty sure we all know much more about playing linebacker than some Dr. Seuss character.

Le'Veon Bell signs with Kansas City
scribo replied to Seasons1992's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Signing Bell makes sense, as we need something that we apparently are missing in the rushing attack. Drafting Moss shows Beane wanted a big back, but his bad toe hasn't allowed us to use him so far. If Bell didn't work out, we aren't any worse than now. -

Of the reported "finalists" only one team could make him their workhorse (if that's what he actually wants) and has a good chance at winning a lot this season. With the Chiefs, he'd be their short yardage go-to. With the fish, there is little chance of making it into the playoffs,, let alone deep. All that said, I have really liked Singeltary. I don't know why he doesn't get more carries. I trust Daboll and the o-crew, so I presume there must be more to all this than we see on gamedays. -
Gameday Thread PreGame Bills @ Titans
scribo replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I billieve in positive thinking. I get why many longtime Bills fans are nervous today. But I do Billieve the Bills are going to pull this one off tonight. Yeah, the Titans are 3-0 going into tonight, but keep in mind they won those three games by a combined six points. Titans 16 - Broncos 14 (Denver is 1-4, with their only win coming against the Jests) Jaguars 30 - Titans 33 (Jacksonville is 1-4, losing to CIncy, Houston and the Fish) Titans 31 - Vikings 30 (Minny is 1-4, only beating Houston) Go Bills! -
Jake Fromm explains life as Emergency Covid QB

I keep in mind every morning while waiting for the reports on test results that Fromm could be the guy if the virus somehow got into our team. Makes me even happier when I hear no news on the Bills. -

Jets trying to trade Bell - per Daily News

Hopefully they trade him out of the conference. In the right situation, far from Gase, he could revive his career. The Jags may. -
Week 5: Bills at Titans on Tuesday Night Football
scribo replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All reports I've seen say Simmons won't be playing tonight. Their run defense is not good, and it could be terrible without him. Also, he tweeted this a couple hours ago today, indicting he will be watching not playing. -
Tre's lovely other half already stated on Twitter Tre is not lying about his injury. Let's put it to rest. Being a back injury, the best treatment is rest. Hoping that the extra couple of days allowed him to get that on top of what our top-tier sports medicine department provided. If Tre can shut down AJ Brown, we can stack the box and hold Henry in check. That is the winning formula.
