They don't test on game day. Last night's was the last. They had originally planned to test on game days, but the probability for a false positive benching healthy players is too high.

It has now been more than 20 minutes since news that the Pats* have no new positives. If the trend that's developed over the past week wherein bad news is reported later than good news holds up, things are starting to look not so good.

A weather guy in Pittsburg tweeted there is news of another positive test amon the Titans. As far as I can see, he is the only one reporting it. No new postives for Pats*. The longer gap between the Pats* news and the Titans news, the less confident I am that they will also get good news. The NFL is going to need to do some serious decision making if it's bad.

We should know in about an hour nearly 100 percent if the Bills are playing in Nashville tomorrow night. But we already know we are not playing this Thursday night.

If Bills win, they will be atop AFC in most rankings. The Steelers had a shootout with the lowly Iggles. The Raiders are going to get love. The Fish are going to get a little love. The Rams will get respect. It'll be easy to elevate the Bills if we can pull of a solid performance in front of a national audience Tuesday. Go Bills!

Too many problems with shutting down for two weeks for it to be a viable option. First, who is to say the players and staff would stay apart? The Titans have been shut down for just about that long, and they are still getting new positives. Second, it is not safe for the players to take two weeks off and then play again. The players have said that themselves numerous times recently. Third, what happens when this all starts over again a month later? Another dangerous two-week shutdown some players ignore?

And what happens if there is another tomorrow? Or Tuesday morning?

Yes, I can see that coming. They apparently are considering changing their rules to let the Broncos-Pats* play, why not here. The money is becoming too large of an issue to make the hard, necessary decisions.
