  1. The CBL says the players need the opportunity to practice for two days before a game. Not sure if there is a way around that.
  2. I disagree with Oct. 1. Right in the beginning of Vrabel's Oct. 1 press conference, he says he just "reminded" the team to "not gather." Words matter. He said "reminded" not "informed," the word he did use on other aspects of what he had told the team that day. They were already informed of that team direction. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owtZl5eso2Q
  3. Correct. If a positive test comes up today, the decision is made for them.
  4. One part of this whole secret, prohibited practice that's not being discussed loud enough: QB Ryan Tannehill organized it! The headmaster of the school at which they practiced has sadi exactly that on the record. If they can play the game, Tannehill, at the very least, should not be allowed to suit up. If Vrabel was a standup guy, he'd announce that now. As for the question highlighted in the tweet below, Vrabel is on film in an Oct. 1 press conference saying he told the entire team to stay apart two days earlier. Clear cut.
  5. You may be right, but I think the rest of the league's players have to be even more pissed off right now than we are at Tannehill and those other Titans.
  6. I sensed Coach McD knew more about Sunday and the Titans than he could say. It was pretty obvious and only makes sense now. Guessing he knew that news was going to break today that Tenny had really screwed up and was going to be forced to forfeit. I hope he used today's practice to prepare for KC!
  7. Start preps for Kansas City! And hopefully this gives Millano time to heal enough to wreck Mahomes' Thursday night.
  8. Tannehill should be tossed on his ear for the season. And if he was there, you know some of his receivers were there.
  9. And yeah, this sucks for Allen and Diggs as they are earning big props and set to break records. But they always say it is about winning not stats.
  10. Absolutely huge. They should be forced to forfeit this week's game, next week's game and last week's game. The players who participated should be suspended for the season. If any coaches knew, they should also be tossed. It cannot get more serious right now, and the NFL has to make that extremely clear.
  11. I like it, but when does it get to the point that too many teams and too many TV contracts are being disrupted?
  12. This question may deserve its own thread, but I'm thinking I probably already started a thread today that didn't need to be its own (press conference). So... What should the punishment be for the Titans if it is found that a number of their players did indeed get together to practice on their own? They are being investigated for such now. Seems like a very serious violation that may be why they are still getting new positives.
  13. Good GIF for this because the Jags and Bucs are likely getting the same clearance.
  14. They could be back in practice on Friday. The CBL says they need two team practices between games. They have none right now. The Pats* appear to be planning to have a practice Friday and one Saturday, so there is room to presume the CBL is OK with that second practice coming just 24 hours before a game. Moving the Tenny game to Monday is out unless the NFL is willing to move the Bills-KC game from Thursday, which most anyastics think is a no-go for the league. $$$
  15. I think those who don't the love the option are ones who don't have to game-plan and prepare for a specific opponent.
  16. I think, at this point, there is a very good chance of a forfeit. But it won't necessarily be directly about the 20 TItans players/coaches who have it. It will happen if the NFL finds some of the TN players did indeed get together to practice during this isolation time. If that happened, those players risked a whole lot for a minimal competitive gain, and now it is time to pay the house.
  17. To me, it sounded as if he is NOT comfortable with traveling/playing. Cannot blame him. And he seemed to be reflecting his players' feelings, too.
  18. - No positive tests on Bills - Coach sounds stressed at the start - Focused on themselves. Has a lot of "faith and trust in the League." - Must be accountable to one another, inside and outside the NFL - Won't comment on the idea of putting the NLF into a "bubble" - Says the post-game, on-field greetings are part of the game. May continue but quicker "in and out" when doing so. Pressed on the question, says the Bills wil follow the guidelines the NFL sets. - AP's John Warrow looks like he's been working very hard. - Coach won't say whether the Bills feel comfortable traveling and playing in TN on Sunday. Says it is a "developing situation." - Doubles down in not saying whether the Bills feel comfortable playing Sunday against the Titans - Antennas up for the team. Many players are paying attention on social media, "for better or worse." - Players eager to get on the practice field today - Brandon Beane in contact with the league. "Business as usual" on the football side. - Won't talk about the possibility of a forfeit. Says above his pay grade - Feliciano back in practice today!
  19. Because he tested negative every day up to gameday. And there were apparently 20 Pats* players identified as having had close contact with an infected Cam.
  20. That answers a couple questions discussed on TBD today. Practicing Friday AND Saturday must be acceptable under the CBL. And it seems this is a way to put the entire Pats* team on the COVID-exempt list without actually putting them on it.
  21. Outside, even while raining, is the right choice, given the open air and that is may be very wet in Nashville Sunday.
  22. I'd much rather they play the game than cancel it. I think the Bills have a good chance to win this one, so one less win on the record would be bad. It could get really complicated down the stretch if two teams have only 15 games. A forfeit would be optimal.
