    The draft isn’t very deep. The Watkins draft was considered very deep going in. This one isn’t. Probably 15 real 1st rounders if that.

    I like his tape. He’s a WR, not a gadget. Good route runner. He’s 5’8 and didn’t run a blazing 40 for his size. Probably a 3rd rounder that could go in the 2nd. Explosive on the field and a strong catcher.

    Personnel usage and schematically it’ll look the same but with a lot more blitzing. Carolina lead the NFL in 5+ rushers in 2016.

    Fans are too worried about drafting Campbell at 27. If drafted at 27 he’ll be a 5 year starter, eventually named captain, and probably top 100 tackles per season. There is little chance we’ll look back and wish we drafted someone else. I understand value. I would love to trade back and still get our starting MLB.

    DT is a bigger need than C/G.

    They won’t pass over anyone they have graded significantly higher just to fill a hole. So don’t worry about it. if it’s close then they will fill the hole. I also wouldn’t be surprised if they have an offer out to Klein. His signing also won’t affect the draft.

    As long as we find a trade down partner we won’t. There’s likely 20 or less 1st round graded players in this draft which means we’re going to right on the edge of getting a 1st round talent depending on how many QBs go.

    I didn’t realize Iowa’s defense was so good. Ranked #2 in the entire NCAA. Could just be Big 10 sucks. A lot of Big 10 defenses were in the top 15.

    We need a veteran edge player. Justin Houston would be great. Won’t affect Oliver.
