  1. You’re analyzing his own words now? He said what he said based on his own film study of Gabe Davis.
  2. Scramble drill toe drag catches. Gabe Davis will never ever look like Tee Higgins. He’s not a playmaker. Zero YAC. Poor contested catch rating.
  3. Gabe Davis is not good enough. Simple as that. He can’t make plays for the QB. He can catch the ball when he’s wide open. So unless the OC dials up a great play or Allen buys time Davis isn’t getting the football. I think he surprised himself catching that deep ball with Fitzpatrick all over him. That’s what we need more of. He typically fumbles those plays one on one contested.
  4. Patrick Peterson told us what the problem is. Gabe only runs a couple routes and he knew what when they were coming. So it’s either Gabe Davis can’t run a full route tree or the OC doesn’t think Gabe can run a full route tree.
  5. He can’t consistently catch the football when contested. He’s not a good route runner. He’s a deep ball or scramble drill WR. He’s Marquez Valdes Scantling.
  6. Look where Deonte Harty ranked in 2021. 😳
  7. Starting to feel like Zach Ertz.
  8. Big fan of his. We need some true vets upfront that won’t get pushed around.
  9. I’ve been refreshing for 2 days. Lost my job, my girl, and my dog.
  10. We’re a RT away from a top OL.
  11. Beane, pull the trigger! Give them whatever they want. I can’t take it.
  12. I’m saying I think his rankings are based on last years performance. He doesn’t use projections in these rankings.
  13. Beane we have beef if this doesn’t get done.
  14. I don’t think he does projections either right? Like I believe Tony Pollard is going to be RB1 next year but he’s yet to put up that kind of production yet. Cowboys RBs are very low.
  15. Is Von’s silence about Hopkins a good or bad thing?
  16. Just an option. There are many veteran DTs with starting experience available. I would prefer A’Shawn Robinson. Poona Ford is another name.
  17. Let’s put this in perspective. Cap wise DHop would only be $4.8million cap hit after converting base into bonus. Ed Oliver is $10.7 million. Basically you have about $6 million cap moving out Oliver and bringing in DHop!! You can probably sign 2 DTs. I think Matt Ioannadis would be a great cheaper signing. Maybe even less than the comp pick qualifier. Re-sign Jordan Phillips. Add a draft pick. You’re going to get similar production from DTs. You’ll still have some left over to sign a veteran pass rusher like Justin Houston or Melvin Ingram.
  18. Andy Friggin Reid gets what he wants. Not afraid of the big move, getting rid of a player or bringing one in. Ed Oliver better be traded or extended. If you don’t want him then trade him.
  19. Basham is probably also appealing. To them they’d probably view Basham as an extra 3rd who’s ready to contribute now.
  20. I don’t think so. Just look how they construct their roster. They’re missing the bigger possession WR. It was Watkins and then JuJu. Sky Moore is not that player. He’s more of a Hardman replacement.
  21. One thing Brandon Beane has said that everyone overlooked was that he could’ve traded for Von Miller before the Rams did but didn’t want to give up a high pick for a player he didn’t know he could sign. Von Miller would’ve been the difference in the 13 seconds game. No doubt in my mind. Which is why I blame Brandon Beane for that loss. Then we used that 2nd on a RB that barely played and still signed Von Miller. Ugh! Beane needs to make this happen. Think about future years when they come. You have 2 all pro safeties at the end, your best pass rusher is at the end. The time is now. Do it!
