  1. Unrealistic expectations. Think about it. The next coach would have the same expectations.
  2. I didn’t watch the video just going off the title. Teams have been playing 2 deep vs the Bills for years. Bills and Chiefs see it the most, at least over the last few years. 2 deep is nothing knew to the Bills offense. Last year Josh Allen was ranked 2nd EPA vs two high safeties. Not sure what this this year. But his EPA is better this year.
  3. I don’t think it matters too much with Taron Johnson. Great player. Our scheme covers up a lot of outside CB weaknesses. But the talk of 3 safeties and 3 LBs should end if we’re not willing to try Johnson outside.
  4. I don’t care about combine measurements. Taron Johnson can play football. I’m not taking him off the field. We aren’t a man defense. The biggest need for a Bills CB is tackling. Speed isn’t the most important thing. Plus he’s plenty fast anyways. Taron Johnson is very similar measurement wise to Dane Jackson.
  5. For the life of me I don’t understand why Taron Johnson couldn’t move to outside CB in this scenario. I’ve brought this up before when discussing a 3 safety look. The Ravens had the best slot CB in football in Marlon Humphrey, but would move him outside when needed. Now he’s full time outside. The Panthers did run a lot of 3 LBs with McDermott as DC when they drafted Shaq Thompson.
  6. Brandon Beane does have to make an in season move to improve the roster. Please not another move to bolster 3rd RB.
  7. Look at our other little linebacker.
  8. Can we start a thread for Bills coaching called “Why are Bills coaches dumber than me”. Just an idea.
  9. To me it comes down to does he run in the bigger moments or is he hesitant. We’ll have to wait and see. He’s playing very efficient football right now but still is making plays out of the pocket. There’s only been one play I really thought he should’ve ran and it was week 1 on one of his INTs.
  10. People understand a lot of these run calls are checks by Josh Allen right? He gets a look he likes and makes a decision.
  11. So does Leonard Fournette go up on the Wall Of Fame with Antonio Brown and Zach Ertz?
  12. Herbert didn’t have his best game.
  13. He’s not part of their offense.
  14. McDermott doesn’t even look at him.
  15. Did you miss the injury yesterday?
  16. Renfrow coming soon.
  17. Harty isn’t even playing much. I don’t know if it’s because of special teams but it better not be that. I really thought we’d see him play the majority of slot snaps this game. He got like 10 snaps.
  18. Criticism is always fair. I’m critical of Dorsey. I have high expectations for the offense because they have Josh Allen. Sounds like you’re critical of Dorsey because he has Josh Allen. I don’t know what else to say? You seem to be arguing that no matter who the OC is we’d have the same results so try someone else. What exactly are we expecting with someone else?
  19. You’re passionate about this but I can’t continue to argue with people complaining about the “offensive struggles”. They aren’t a perfect offense. There’s many unsuccessful calls in a game. I’m sure there’s calls Dorsey would like back in every game. There’s bad games and bad stretches. But I cant argue with people who get upset every time the offense struggles when they’re one of the most productive offenses in the NFL. Like I said when the offense starts to become much less productive that’s when the Dorsey talk will start for me. There are no excuses.
  20. They’ve never had the number 1 offense. Dorsey finished with the #2 offense in 2022, they improved from the previous season. Doesn’t really matter. Top 2, top 3, top 5. Who cares, all good offenses. Yes, you need good players and especially good QBs to have consistently good offenses. Dorsey is likely a product of Josh Allen. He didn’t build this offense. I think many OCs would have success with Josh Allen. The same type of success Dorsey is having. I don’t know what you could possibly expect from another OC. This is a production based business. The production is there. You’d hold the next guy to unrealistic expectations, basically the same as Dorsey. If production falls to let’s say out of the top 10 overall offense then maybe there’s a discussion to be had about Dorsey.
  21. Should be? Same as calling the OC of a top 3 offense bad.
  22. What do you consider struggling? Having a bad game or a bad season? What’s considered a bad season? I use to use regular stats, but Dorsey has great regular stats. Then I started using advanced analytics, but dang it Dorsey has great advanced analytics. I guess I’ll go by pure emotion. That’s the best way.
