I don’t know what this conversation is we’re having. Williams was out of position to make the tackle. It’s not like he got run over, he was out of position. The only debate is why was he out of position.

The list has grown. Ive seen chatter on CB Jaylon Johnson. He’s my top target now.

100% correct in the way he said it. Gabe is a product of scheme and Josh Allen. He doesn’t win on routes consistently and he has no run after catch ability. Not even going to mention his inconsistency catching the football. Also agree no one else on the team besides Diggs has shown that ability either. The Bills need someone else that can either win on their route consistently without scheme or someone that can turn a 7 yard catch into 30 yards with yac. Someone that does both would be great. I actually don’t need Gabe’s role to change. They just need someone else besides Diggs that makes plays and wins consistently for Josh Allen. Someone like what Beasley was in his prime.

There is no trip. Geesh. Maybe Jordan Poyer took the wrong gap. Williams looks like he’s trying to get outside of the blocker but realizes no one is inside and attempts to get back and fill. We’ll never know who messed up. It’s possible assignments changed with the motion and Williams just didn’t pick that up. It was more of a communication breakdown than a straight missed tackle. Someone didn’t do their job. But that stuff use to happen with Milano and Edmunds also sometimes.

No he didn’t. You’re probably talking about a different play. its at 15:25. He just made a bad read and was out of position for the tackle. lol I hope not.

Takes me back to McDermott answering a question on Bernard at rookie camp. He didn’t talk about him so much. He talked about trusting what Baylor coach Dave Aranda said about him. It’s interesting. Milano and Edmunds aren’t this type of leader. They are more lead by example . It’s nice to see this alpha mentality from a LB.

He plays too fast sometimes. Hopefully McDermott allows him to play through these mistakes and the game slows down. But there can’t be too many more of these.

I wouldn't mind a slot upgrade but the offense has the guys they wanted. It’ll take a serious decision to move away from Davis and Knox. Adding another one would probably just make people angry because he won’t play. CB is a serious problem. We’ll see soon enough. Some big competition coming.

I’m worried mostly about the next injury. There’s 11 games and playoffs left. We’re thin at CB now. I would love a trade that makes Dane Jackson our 3rd CB again.

Probably a multitude of factors. How often you’re in 2nd and long and also how successful you are on 3rd downs. I think the Bills run on a 2nd and long mostly because the defensive look calls for a run and they’re trying to pop a nice run. I don’t really hate these calls, it’s more about the situation for me. I think there’s been 1-2 times I threw my hands up screaming WHY!

I think Beane will have to put his big boy pants on and make a trade for a starting CB. It’ll be difficult I know, 99% of the league is looking for CBs.

This why I laugh at these threads. The same stuff said about Dorsey was said about Daboll. OC is the most hated coach on every team. This is a chart on 2nd down and long pass rate. The major complaint about Dorsey it seems. Look at this chart from late 2021 with Daboll calling plays. Bills had one of the lowest 2nd and long pass rates in the NFL.
