Hot Take: Does Bobby Babich Lose His Job?
Buffalo_Stampede replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
Although they played mostly single high man vs KC, a completely different approach than previous seasons. Our boundary CBs were getting their ankles broken by JuJu Smith Schuster. But this is on McDermott. They don’t have any man CBs. They have slower zone DBs. That was by design. They do have an opportunity this offseason to sign a man CB to play opposite Benford. We will see what they do. -
He was a full participant by Thursday but he missed practice due to an illness on Wednesday. And many reporters thought Allen sounded sick on Wednesday as well. If the flu was going around it could affect strength and energy.

Hot Take: Does Bobby Babich Lose His Job?

I would’ve hired Lou Anarumo immediately as a consultant. Then made him DC in the offseason and demoted the kid Babich to DB coach. He isn’t ready. -
Red helmet couldn’t win, White Helmet can’t win. Let’s try a Blue helmet.

Bills probably sign Dane Jackson when cut and Levi Wallace.

The last one Dawkins gets no push vs 251 LB Mike Dana. He just falls. Kincaid gets steam rolled as well. But typically Dawkins is just plowing through. A lot of it was Josh Allen knowing all year they can’t be stopped. He likely felt he would get it every time. But Dawkins just didn’t seem himself. He missed practice that week with an illness. Some thought Josh was sick during the week also. I’m convinced they were weakened it. There’s no other explanation. The Chiefs haven’t stopped a tush push in 3 years.

Lost in the sauce: Outstanding Performances vs KC
Buffalo_Stampede replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
James Cook was outstanding. I called him a replaceable RB and wanted to see him in the playoffs. Well he proved me wrong. He’s a special talent. Another one, Mack Hollins. Just making me look dumb. He’s such a valuable player to this team. Watch his block on Cooks first TD vs Chiefs. He makes the whole thing happen. He can do that and beat all pro Trent McDuffie deep? Flowers to you sir! -
It’ll lower his cap hit by a lot for a couple years. My guess is he’ll be the highest paid player in NFL history. 8 years $500 million.

FINAL v3.0 now LIVE on p.15 - Gunner's 2025 Mock Draft

Chiefs haven’t stopped a tush push in 3 years. I stand by my belief Dawkins was still sick. Allen runs behind Dawkins. He couldn’t move a guy 50lbs lighter than him. Something was off.

I guess we can no longer call McDermott the DB whisperer. He actually needs talent like everyone else.

So Hailee is going to have a commercial at Superbowl ...
Buffalo_Stampede replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall
I can’t remember the last Super Bowl I watched. Probably Eagles vs NE. Ever since we’ve been losing in the playoffs I can’t watch the Super Bowl. -
It’s a foregone conclusion.

Being a Bills fan makes you stronger. I put it on my resume. -
Brandon Beane is on the clock….
Buffalo_Stampede replied to BillMafia716ix's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane, McDermott, and Pegula owe it to Josh Allen to go all out this offseason. Whatever it takes to put the greatest roster Allen has ever had on the field next season. WR, CB, DT, and edge. I want to see at least 2 major additions at these positions. These are big money positions but we need it. Trade, draft, free agency. Whatever it takes. I don’t care about cap implications 2 years from now. -
He would be a great fit.

All of his help was to the left, protection and hots. I would love to hear Allen talk about this play at some point. I think he knew he had Kincaid and hurried it a little. Snapped the ball with a lot of time on the play clock. He could’ve ran it down more, maybe the Chiefs show something. He was 100% right that he had Kincaid but the Chiefs baited him and won the play and the game. He still somehow gave Kincaid a chance to make a play. Listened to Eric Wood talk about it. Basically said Spags is either the hero or a zero with this call in that situation. It was a gutsy call, but he’s known for that.

How many years left on the “run”
Buffalo_Stampede replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
As long as Allen plays. As he grows older and loses some physical ability he’ll gain mentally. My guess is 10 years left at a high level. The Bills will be contenders as long as Allen plays. 38-39. He’s a better athlete than Roethlisberger, who started fading quickly at 39. Allen hopefully takes pride in taking care of his body in his 30’s.
