  1. Also, you see how the defender stayed on the ground for a second? He was sure he’d be called for PI.
  2. Josh didn’t have the laser-like focus last night. Still made plays to win the game, but Drake made more. Pats deserved the win. I don’t know why Allen has gone back to bailing out of clean pockets. He’s done that a few times in the last couple weeks. Wish he was more like Mahomes and Jackson from that standpoint - run around like a squirrel in the pocket until something breaks downfield, but he’s leaving clean protection which shortens the field and invites the rush.
  3. 4-0 with Elijah Moore in the lineup, 0-1 without him.
  4. If I was Babich, Diggs is the one player I wouldn’t have let ruin this game. Cover him underneath and over the top every play. Didn’t get that. Credit to Maye, he made some unbelievable plays, but the Bills deserved to lose. They’ve been sleepwalking for the past 3 weeks - both sides taking turns underachieving.
  5. Gotta stop the high powered New England offense
  6. Nope, face guarding is no longer a flag. Tre didn’t contact Diggs, his defense was fine. Bad flag.
  7. I wonder if Brady tries to audition for other jobs on prime time TV.
  8. Sure, after having success through the air, run a TE jet to Knox. Makes sense
  9. As far as I’ve seen, everyone has acknowledged that Garrett is the better player, he’s the best defender in the league. But Parsons is a monster in his own right. To think otherwise is just hating on him.
  10. Can’t speak for any others, but I haven’t written off any of these players, well maybe except for Dwayne Carter. As to my point, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that a top 100 pick comes in and outperforms a guy who has proven to be a JAG in the league, a backup. Just because the Bills are a perennial SB contender, it doesn’t mean that a day 2 (or day 1) pick has a Herculean task just to get reps. No team is that deep. If the player was a day 1 or day 2 pick, suffice to say the players that he’ll be battling aren’t all pros or even pro bowlers. The concept of development is not lost on me, I was one of the few who never wrote “bust” next to Bishop and Bernard’s names. Don’t use “perennial SB contender” as a reason. Just admit to what it is - the player isn’t ready to contribute in the coaches’ eyes, no matter how marginal the players are ahead of him.
  11. Hindsight is 20/20, but S Xavier Watts in the 3rd would’ve been a great pick. Even the Saints S Jonas Sanker who was everywhere on the field against us would’ve been great. Next offseason S and LB are the areas of focus and also possibly OL with up to 3 starters leaving in 2 years.
  12. On 4th and short I always like QB bootlegs with the option to run or pass to a crosser OR a pick/rub route to free up a receiver.
  13. Yeah, the lack of tackles suggests that either A) Sanders is constantly getting double teamed and washed out of the play or B) he can’t get off his block to get to the ball carrier. And it’s not like he isn’t getting opportunities. Aside from the Jets game, the run defense has been a sieve, as resistant as tissue paper.
  14. Still the first player EVER that I’ve seen go down with a non-contact knee injury and not require surgery to repair a torn ligament. He and the Bills were very fortunate.
  15. Yeah, Prater holds onto the job unless he starts missing kicks. So far almost every single FG/extra pt has been dead center, while Bass likes to flirt with the uprights. Tyler has to continue to sit.
  16. I don’t like the argument that we’re such an “extremely deep playoff team” that cracking the lineup is an arduous task for a high pick. It’s not like the players ahead of those high picks are all pro talents. If the rookies could play, or more accurately, if the coaches believed Landon or anyone else in his rookie class was ready to play, that player would be on the field - either in a rotation, or ahead of some average to below average NFL players.
  17. Landon should be getting defensive reps ahead of Solomon since Solomon hasn’t shown anything, but I know he plays STs as well so he keeps getting a jersey. McD said a couple weeks ago Landon was close to playing, so it was a surprise he wasn’t up for this game.
  18. When DBs give these huge cushions like the last one Elam just gave, it’s essentially pitch and catch for NFL QBs & WRs. The WRs have to be challenged.
  19. The good ones are usually around 35 solo for the year, roughly 2 per game. Deone Walker has 6 solo, Daquan has 4. I don’t know Sanders snap count, but I think he’s been on the field as much as those two and is producing far less.
  20. Just saw that TJ Sanders has one solo tackle all year. ONE. With the amount of rushing attempts this team has seen, he’s gotta be monumentally better.
  21. Henry gets his carries against the Bills: 24 - 199 16 - 84 18 - 169 Compare that to his games against KC: 13 - 46 8 - 42 He wasn’t there for the AFCCG, but the Ravens abandoned the run in that one too and got criticized for it. KC stops the run better than we do, just by virtue of how many bodies they put in the box, but the Ravens don’t stick with it either.
  22. #56 Solomon was out there a lot it seems. He’s been disappointing as well. Let Landon Jackson get some run.
  23. Ravens NEVER commit to Henry when they play the Chiefs. They always seem to want to put it on Lamar’s shoulders and pass more than usual. It’s odd.
