    A bit sobering watching this lackluster Falcons team and thinking they easily could’ve beaten the Bills by more than 3 scores last week.

    49ers defense shouldn’t be this good to stymie that ATL offense. But I guess it’s the version of the Falcons offense that scored 0 against Carolina.

    It’d be nice to go back to a rookie contract, I can’t lie, BUT I got caught up thinking CJ Stroud was the next stud QB. Maye has been scorching hot, but he’ll have to keep it up for a couple seasons before that idea even enters the fold. By then his rookie deal will be expiring.

    Saleh is a great DC. Proving it now with half his defensive players not even playing. Scheme, scheme, scheme.

    Oh okay. When I said “names” I meant established NFL talent. Those two rookies have a combined 1.5 sacks on the year. No one else on that DL is highly regarded but as a unit they’ve been getting quick pressure. Sum is greater than their parts is what I’m saying.

    I knew of Leonard Floyd of course but he’s a fossil now. What other first round DL am I missing?

    That ATL DL does get in the backfield surprisingly fast. They’ve got a bunch of no names on that line.

    I went from thinking the Giants had a chance at a shutout, to wondering if Broncos had some voodoo magic when Franklin caught that tipped pass for a TD.

    Im just glad the Chiefs picked Clyde Edwards Helaire over Jonathan Taylor. Could you imagine?

    It’s amazing how differently coaches are perceived when there are better players are on the field. Daboll went from a lame duck coach to a genius again.

    I’m not sold Maye’s skill players are better than the Bills. Their offensive system is though.

    What happened to the GB offense? They haven’t been right since the Browns game. Brandon Aubrey is incredible. 61 yard FG that never deviated, straight down the middle.

    Elam went to the right team for playing time because nobody in that Cowpokes secondary can cover.

    Drake Maye will go through a slump or struggle at some point this year, all the QBs not named Brady do it with regularity. Is he playing better than Josh right now? Absolutely. But let’s see where we are towards the end of the year.

    The Vrabel Patriots doing things the Belichick Patriots have never done (3 road game wins in a row). That’s impressive. I guess during their 16-0 season they never had back to back to back road games.
