Im done with Rapp. Please put in Hancock, I’d rather take my lumps with more athleticism on the backend. -

Best QB ever? I guess that would be true if about 5 others never played in the league. -

Thing is, NFL talent isn’t so drastically different that the defense should suck this much. We’re not light years behind the Panthers defensive personnel man for man and yet the Falcons couldn’t score against them. It’s 100% a scheme issue, players aren’t being put in great positions. Too many open spaces, too many one on one tackle attempts. A ball just got topped and NO DEFENDER was within 5 yards to knock it down. It’s the scheme, or the play calls. -

There’s just NO LBs at the second level to meet the run. -

If the measuring stick is playoffs, they’re at least that good. They’re not winning a SB with this defense though. -

Groot usually has 1-2 really good games a year. Maybe this will be one of them. He owes us after that penalty. -

If receivers are allowed to run unopposed, turn around and make the catch, down after down, it’s just too easy. Too soft. There’s no challenge. -

“Bills haven’t beaten anyone with a winning record. Give me the Falcons.” These talking heads are insufferable. -

Even though Poyer is not what he used to be, he’s gotta be an improvement over the 2025 edition of Taylor Rapp. -
SNF: Detroit @ Kansas City (no Bills stuff in this thread please)

Zero accepted. But yeah, I don’t believe for a second they played that cleanly. -

I would’ve rather had 1st and 5 than 2nd and 1. Downs matter. -

Reminiscent of the Patriots and “we’re on to Cincinnati.” -

She is. I like Caitlin Clark but liked her less when I found that out. -

I don’t know for the life of me why DBs dont communicate to switch if receivers cross in man coverage. It’s like a basketball pick play. Communicate and switch it!!! -

What tree is the Ben Johnson offense from? Love the creativity I see out of that system. -
Maye looks like the truth. His skill positions are pedestrian and he has no running game to speak of, but he still finds ways to move that offense. He has great awareness from what I’ve seen and throws an even more catchable ball than Allen. If New England stays healthy, they should get a WC spot with that soft schedule.

Yeah, guys like a Chase and Jefferson are in the one percentile of receivers in the league. -

Yeah, only Lamar Jackson consistently has receivers that are “high school” open. For most in the league the receiver will usually have 1-2 yards of separation and it’s on the QB to either throw them open, or put a pass right on them when they’re open. I do think this offense needs more pick/rub routes and less WR bubble screens. We’re not getting blitzed much so those screens are seeming like wasted downs. Too much horizontal passing for my liking. -
Random talking head says something about the Bills
Brand J replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seems like there are a lot more injuries in today’s softer league. Guys were far more calloused up back in the day with two a day practices and legal harder hits. There was no “defenseless receiver.” I think because guys were more calloused, they probably knew how to protect themselves more. Soft tissue injuries also weren’t as frequent because they were on the field all the time.
