  1. I think in general there’s so much pressure on GMs to take the hyped up QB. If they don’t and the player they picked bombs while the other excels, it’s a guaranteed dismissal and a struggle to hold another GM role provided what happened before. I actually can’t remember the last “slam dunk” QB prospect who was passed up for another. I do remember another position back in the day went unexpectedly. I would’ve bet a nice chunk of change the Colts were taking Ricky Williams if he fell to them and they surprised everyone by taking Edgerrin James. Still remember my mouth hanging open, thinking it was the dumbest mistake.
  2. Rousseau had that one game against the Cardinals last year where he showed out, but that’s the first and only time I remember him dominating. Oliver has had about 3 of those games. The Jets, Cowboys, and Lions. Maybe I’m missing one or two others.
  3. You noticed him jogging on the TD too? He knew he wouldn’t get there in time so he didn’t bother but I’m more curious about his assignment on the play. I picture Micah Hyde recognizing the 1 v 1 on his side of the field and sprinting over to double that WR. Here, Hamlin just defends grass. He's often a day late and a step short.
  4. “Here’s the pitch… and the season’s over”
  5. Hawkeye technology is worthless when you still have to depend on the official’s spot.
  6. Landon Jackson looks like Temu Ryan Denney. On the other hand, VERY impressed with the 2 young DTs. If we hit on 2/3 of them that would be great.
  7. Loop is the Ravens new kicker (6th rd pick) and Trujillo is in Indianapolis battling it out with their other kicker. And yeah, all 3 have hit 60+ yard FGs in a game.
  8. Rough offseason for the Chargers.
  9. Hard Knocks commentary starts at 2:25
  10. Yeah, McD said Josh will not play and Trubisky will get the start.
  11. The team hasn’t won a SB, much less been to the big game, so I’m not sure what risks the show poses…? Hard Knocks hasn’t been around SJF since Josh was drafted in 2018 and the results have been mostly the same every year. Maybe it’s good to shake things up.
  12. Kamara used to be Marshall Faulk-lite, but I think he’s in that 10-15 range nowadays. Cook is top 10, but not all world. Saquon, (a healthy CMC), and King Henry are the only three I’d consider all world, the next tier would be Bijan, Jahmyr, Cook, Taylor, Jacobs, etc.
  13. It’s disappointing only because I had a higher opinion of Forrest.
  14. Yeah, I may have quit the series after season 2 at the docks if I hadn’t heard the praise. I snoozed through that one, but seasons 3 and 4 more than made up for it.
  15. Do you know the stats for when he went against Garrett Wilson at MetLife? I remember thinking Benford was getting beat up that game. It’s the only one I can remember where he was consistently giving up yards and catches. The only one I remember (a healthy) Tre White looking like a child trying to cover a man was when he went up against DK Metcalf in Seattle. In general both have been very good CBs.
  16. Hold in: the player shows up to practice but doesn’t practice. He watches his teammates work while he rides a stationary bike. This approach avoids the $50K per day fine. Hold out: the player stays away from all team related activities and is fined $50K per day for each day he misses.
  17. He was when the pads weren’t on. The pads came on and he was injured a bit, but it doesn’t sound like he’s standing out like he was earlier according to this Mike Rose guy. I do think Moore being in danger of getting cut might be an exaggeration.
  18. According to Joe B, Jordan Hancock has been more impressive at safety than Forrest, which of course is intriguing and disappointing at the same time.
  19. Have the Ravens had any real camp injuries?
  20. Ulofoshio’s chances of making the team were just solidified (assuming the Bills roster 6 LBs). Haven’t heard his name all camp.
  21. The worst early cancellation in the history of cancellations in my opinion.
  22. If Cook and the Bills can’t come to an agreement, I’d love to find a back in next year’s draft who’s even more explosive and faster than James (like a Jonathan Taylor type) and wouldn’t care if he was a first round pick. As it stands, the team has no glaring holes.
  23. Baylon Spectator. You’ve gone and done it 😂
  24. I watched on the MAX app at the same time it aired, 9PM EST which was 6PM PST for me.
  25. Bills saw what everyone else has seen. No use in keeping him rostered if he can’t stay available. Might be the most injury prone Bill I can remember.
