Narcissistic prick.

DHGate is an ebay type of site. It's not 1 manufacturer or seller. So if there's a bad one, that doesn't mean all of the sellers are bad. I've ordered from DHgate a couple of times and never had a problem. Friends in my Bills backers have also never had an issue. I've got a Spiller White AFL throwback and a white Tyler Myers and you simply can't tell the difference between those and the ones the Bills/Sabres sell. I used NFLTrader or something similar for the Spiller. The colors are dead on and there are no flaws. Both of the jerseys have come with all of the official tags and holograms, and the Spiller has the "NFL Equipment" shield on the collar. The Myers has the shoelace tie on the neck and everything. The total cost (with shipping) was $40 for the Spiller and $50 for the Myers. Excellent priced for fully stitched names, numbers, and none of that iron-on crap. There are bad jerseys there, but you can easily spot the miscolored or incorrect jerseys from the picture on the seller's page. But with the good ones, there's no difference between those and the real thing.

I'll be interested to see how the "metallic flake" looks on the helmet paint. It looks pretty cool on the jags helmet, and it should be an improvement from basic flat white.

Thats because the jerseys sold have sleeves, and the jerseys often worn on field by the players are sleeveless. there's where the difference in stripes comes into play.

I'm just giving a LAMP and props to my graduate alma mater, FSU, for having players selected in round 1 in the NFL (Christian Ponder, #12 to Minnesota), MLB (Sean Gilmartin, #28 to Atlanta), and NBA (Chris Singleton, #18 to Washington) drafts all in the same calendar year. I'm sure this has happened before at other schools, but probably not very often. Lets go 'Noles! Props to them for having 3 very good programs.

SDS to be on WBEN at 8:20 this morning...

SDS went on WBEN just to say mead had too much wine? -
Just a note on Trueblood and the Buccs...Davin Joseph is the #1 priority for the Buccs to re-sign this offseason, before Barret Ruud. He's not going anywhere. They'll probably let Ruud walk and Treublood walk, however they are way under the projected cap, so those thoughts may change with them having to get to the 90% level. As for Trueblood himself, kid's a solid blocker, but get used to the old Rueben Brown days with the weekly holding penalty. I believe he's been one of the most penalized OTs in the NFL each of the past 2 seasons.

So i actually caught some of the game the other night (had it on in the background), and it still baffles me as to why the US's offense consists of nothing more than "lets boot it down field and try to have one of our guys outrun one of theirs." It was the same in the WC last year.

And we'd still owe them 2 1st round picks.

I dont think Gordio is trying to split the line. I think he's just trying to extend the cables an additional length so he can move his TV/receiver.

I dont see why it would be a problem. My dad something similar (albeit it was about 10 years ago when he did it).

Casual fans don't spend money buying merchandise or buying tickets, or ordering sunday ticket. They may switch their allegiances based whatever team is good and/or playing in their area on a given sunday, but they aren't spending their cash to constantly buy new team apparel. The fans that do spend money on NFL gear spend it based on whatever team they like. Sure they'll buy jerseys of a player on their team, but when that player moves along ro retires, they'll most likely simply buy another jersey of a new player on their team. If these "casual" fans are simply fans of the players, why wasn't there this huge group of fans that started rooting for the eBills when we signed TO? Casual fans may have followed the Bills a bit more because of that, but it didn't prompt thousands of people to drop the #81 cowboys jersey for a #81 Bills jersey.

Well then, he's a !@#$ing idiot. There's not a single damn reason on the face of the earth to get behind a wheel when you're that drunk. Thankfully, he didn't hit anyone else.

Nope, 12, 34, and 78 should never see the field. 11 needs to be burned in effigy.

I dont understand. The players make the NFL, not the teams. So if the Bills didn't have any superstars, why were you watching/supporting them?

Kurt Warner says NFL players must give back money
Ramius replied to GaryPinC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As opposed to your argument, which is that millions of Colts and pats* fans are going to walk away from the game when Peyton and Brady retire? -
The system seems to be going back to how its always been. 4 years and then you hit UFA status when your contract is up. This means we should see a large number of players hit the market (seeing how 4 and 5 year vets couldnt become UFAs last season, but will this season.
-
I agree that it seems both sides could benefit from this. The owners get some more dough for their stadiums and whatnot, and the players get a better guaranteed chunk (Since they'll always get at least 46%). Anything that funnels more money to retired players is ok in my book.
-
I like the framework of the new deal, pending what exactly the rookie wage scale looks like. 4 years until UFA is nice, because that leaves RFAs in play. Looks like the players tucked their tails between their legs in accepting only 48%. I know the owners don't get the billion off the top, but 48% is less than what they were getting previously.

While FSU has been collecting an impressive collection of talent (Jimbo is building and running us like an SEC team, no moer small and fast that was the Bobby/Mickey trademark), i still think we're a year away. I fully expect us to be in the ACC championship game and think a BCS bowl is a reasonable expectation, but a national title? Probably not yet. EJ Manuel needs to step up (he's looked good in stretches when he's played, but now the show is his), and the defense still neesd to improve. Most of all, its the schedule that will stop us this year. We've got Oklahoma and Florida OOC, we go to clemson right after the OU game, then have to travel to BC on a thursday night right after playing NC State, and we finish up with Miami and UF as 2 of the final 3 games. I hate the ACC schedule makers. They did us no favors, and insist on send us away on thursday nights.

League Considering Dropping Blackouts 15%
Ramius replied to BiggieScooby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The NFL should actually set a hard value for blackouts. Its much easier to sell out a 60-65K seat stadium than it is to sell out the Ralph at 74k seats. If you sell a specific number of tickets (the same across the league), the blackout should be lifted. -

Not sure why you are having a tough time understanding that when Brady and Manning are gone, there will still be tons of fans rooting for those 2 teams. They'll just buy the jersey of "the next big name guy." There will always be another player to step up and take the place of the previous "star." Its the same thing in the movies. Take a look at favre. He WAS the franchise in GB. And i'll bet that of all the Packers fans with #4 jerseys, roughly 99.99% of them went out and bought an Aaron Rogers jersey when Favre left, and did NOT buy a #4 jets jersey. Fans root for teams, not individual players. -
Schefter twittering deal in the works
Ramius replied to richNjoisy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills have always been near the top of the league in cap figures. And, since we haven't been in a real cap mess in about 10 years, that money is going somwhere, and its not just dead cap space. Who, in the past 5 years, was worth shelling big bucks on? And we've already established numerous times that Clements was NOT worth the $80 million. Schobel, McGee, and Evans got extensions and big bucks to stay here. Aside from Jabari Greer, who else should have Ralph paid the big bucks to? Ralph also spent $75 million trying to improve the OL a few seasons ago. It failed, but he did spend the money, right? But i know, ralph is cheap.
